"Evie!" Peter hissed. Evie turned and saw what he was pointing at. "Ned, hey. I need you to cause a distraction."

Ned nodded "HOLY S**T! We're all gonna die! There's a spaceship!" Everyone rushed to the back of the bus.

"What's the with you kids?" the bus driver asked, turning around (RIP Stan Lee). "You never seen a spaceship before?"

Peter threw open the emergency exit and jumped out, Evie following. They pulled on their suits and Peter swung away while his twin skated along the sea, melting the ice behind her as she formed new ice in front of her.

Peter wouldn't mess up now. He had the entire thing memorized by heart.

And he relived it every night.

Peter and Evie arrived just as Tony was about to get pummeled by an alien. Peter jumped in front of him, preventing Tony from getting mashed.

"Hey man! What's up Tony?" 

"Hey kid...kids? Where did you guys come from?"

"A field trip tO MOMA!" Peter yelled, being tossed aside by the giant alien.

"What is this guy's problem, anyway?" Evie asked.

"Uh, he's from space. He came here to steal a necklace from a wizard." Tony responded. An unconscious Doctor Strange went flying past them. "Kid, that's the wizard. Get on it. Evie, you help me."

"On it!" Peter called, swinging after him. He knew what happened next. He could stop them. He knew what moves they would use, how they would block him...

But he couldn't. They might not be able to stop Thanos if he did that. So instead, he continued doing what he had done five years ago.

"Not cool!" he shouted as he got tossed into a billboard... er, a billboard got tossed into him. Doctor Strange got pulled into a beam of light, and he tried to anchor them both to a lampost, fully aware of what happened next. "Mr. Stark? I'm being beamed up." Evie looks up at him startled.

"Hang on, kid," Tony called. Evie didn't wait, however, and began using her powers as a jet-pack. As the giant alien jumped towards Tony, who was trying to get to Peter, he got sent through a portal. 

Tony turned towards Wong, who had made the portal. "Wong, you're invited to my wedding."

Tony flew towards the large ship, intent on saving the twins. Evie, who had not thought her plan through all the way, would've only been able to save herself, and there was no way she was going to leave Peter behind. 

"Give me a little juice, F.R.I.D.A.Y.." Tony's feet thrusters turned to morph together into a larger one, giving him an extra boost. "Unlock 17-A and 17-B. Pete, Eve, you gotta let go. I'm gonna catch you."

"BUT YOU SAID SAVE THE WIZARD!" Peter yelled. He pulled his mask off, gasping for breath. "I can't breathe!" Evie put her hood down, also panting for air. 

"You're too high up," Tony responded, trying not to roll his eyes. "You're running out of oxygen."

"Oh, yeah. That makes sense."

Peter passed out and went free falling. Evie watched in horror when a pod came up abruptly and attached a suit to him. Another one sped to Evie and attached to her as well. The suits looked similar to their other ones, only made of iron instead.

"Mr. Stark, it smells like a new car in here!" Peter said excitedly, inside wincing.

"Happy trails, kid." Tony responded. "F.R.I.D.A.Y, send them home."

The AI sounded almost sarcastic. "Yup." 

A parachute came out of each suit, sending them both spiraling to earth. "Oh, come on!" the twins shout simultaneously. 

Peter manages to stick to the side of the ship, however, and crawls inside an airlock. Evie follows, rolling her eyes at her brother. He peeked out before the doors closed. "We should have stayed on the bus."

"Tu pensi?"

But they have data!

There is no cell service in space.

Ned
They're in space?!

Did you not see the giant spaceship?

The twins watched as Tony stood on a balcony, hidden. Doctor Strange's cape flew over and tapped Tony on the arm. He raised his hand to shoot it before realizing what it was. "Wow you're a seriously loyal piece of outerwear, aren't you?"

"I'm gonna do it now," Peter whispered. Evie shook her head, but he dropped down anyway. "Yeah, uh, speaking of loyalty..."

Tony whipped around. "What the-"

"I know what you're gonna say." Peter began. "You should not be here," Tony responded, staring at him hard.

"I was gonna go home-"

"I don't wanna hear it."

"But it was such a long way down and I just thought about you on the way-"

"And now I gotta hear it."

"...and I kinda stuck to the side of the ship. And this suit is ridiculously intuitive, by the way. So if anything, it's kinda your fault that I'm here."

Tony looked up sharply. "What did you just say?"

"I-I take that back." Peter stammered. "And now I'm here in space."

"Yeah. Right where I don't want you to be." Tony had begun to get madder and madder. "This isn't Coney Island. This isn't a field trip. It's a one-way ticket. You hear me? Don't pretend like you thought this through. You could not have possibly thought this through." he stopped suddenly. "Where's Evie?"

As if on cue, she dropped down, giving Peter a look. "He didn't think this through. I came along so he didn't kill himself."

Peter looked at her offended. "No. I did think this through."

"You could not have possibly thought this through," Tony replied, exasperated.

"It's just- You can't be a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man when there's no neighborhood." He paused. "Okay. That didn't really make any sense, but you know what I'm trying to say."

"Come on. We got a situation. See him down there? He's in trouble. What's your plan? Go." Tony looked at him expectantly.

"Um. Okay. Okay... uh... did you ever see that really old movie, Aliens?"

Evie sighed. "We're doomed, aren't we."
