I'm Only Sleeping

Jane stayed right next to Paul the whole time he was sleeping. She wouldn't leave Paul's side on the couch as he slept peacefully. The doctor said that he would be better after some sleep, and she wanted to be right there the minute- the second really, he woke up. John finished writing "Doctor Robert" but thought it might need work and to save for about three more albums or so. Ringo was figuring out how to get the doorknob off of his hand. The ladies had picked up some magazines on the table and started reading them, as they were bored out of their mind with John, George, and Ringo playing cards (again).

Cynthia stayed right next to John, making sure he wouldn't pull any tricks out of his sleeve (literally). Jane, skimming through her magazine read a sentence then checked on Paul and wouldn't take her eyes of of him for about three minutes. Maureen was helping Ringo to place cards, considering he only had one to use. Pattie was reading through the magazine and about every five minutes asking George, "Who's winning?"

"Ringo. He's wearin' his lucky rings, y'know." George told her. Pattie nodded her head and watched each card being laid down, but each of the girls never understood it.

"John, now don't think I didn't see that. Put it back." Cynthia told John, who placed down a card that would've won him the game. He sighed and took it from the top of the pile and back up his right sleeve.

Suddenly, Paul started moving a little, with a slight groan. "He's waking up!" Jane gasped as everyone turned their heads towards the groggy bass player.
