How to get closer to your best friend

Ringo was happy he could walk around, but he still had a doorknob over his right hand, glue on the wall, John and Paul on the floor, and a broken mug. He walked over to the sink, thinking the glue would melt under the hot water.

"John, a little help?" Paul and John could still not get up.

"Sure." John turned around, but Paul turned around with him.

"Paul?" John, asked, even though he couldn't see Paul.

"Yes, John?" Paul turned his head to see John the best he could, but just turned them over again.

"You had glue on your back, didn't you?"

"Not had, John. Have. My back is covered with glue. You didn't fall on my back when we pulled the door knob off, did you?" George started laughing.

"I'm the only one that's not stuck to something or somone in this room. And I don't intend for it to happen." George started to have fun with this.

"Hey, I think it's working!" Ringo exclaimed. It really wasn't, though.

"If you're the only one that isn't stuck, can you help us, George?" Paul said, raising his head the best he could, catching only a glimpse of his mop top. George lifted his arms out so both could hold a hand and raise up.

"Now how are we going to walk?" John said, slightly giggling over the fact he was stuck to his best friend.

"You walk forwards, I'll walk backwards." Paul said, hoping his idea would work.

"But I take larger steps than you." John knew his fact by watching their walking patterns when he looked at the concrete. He was the tallest and took the largest steps.

"This a fine predicament I think would be better to sit back and watch." George started laughing again. Ringo still had the hot water running, trying to melt it, still. Still no sucess.
