Radhika's sister's wedding Day,

Bride's room

Naina and Radhika, along with the beauticians were helping Shrutika to get ready..

The beauticians were taking care of the makeup, Rads was doing the hair, and Naina being clueless in all these things so she were helping her with the dress...

'Di do you need it more tight or should I the strings now...?' Naina asks holding the blouse strings

Shrutika takes a deep breath and exhales loudly...

'I think I can go a bit tighter...' she mumbles, Naina chuckles and ties the knot tightly

'Better...?'

Shrutika turns back to look herself in the mirror and grins

'Perfect..! Haaye muje meri hi nazar na lag jaaye... (Damn I look so pretty, everyone will be awestruck)...' She exclaims and Naina nods

'Of course, the you are the prettiest Bride I have ever seen...' Naina says looking at her admiringly

'But I saw a prettier one, in the boutique few days back... Who was ready to marry Ishaan just to wear that Lehenga....' Rads teases and Naina throws the comb at her

'Why do you think I am getting married Rads...?' Shrutika says and winks at Naina, who smirks and they high hive each other..

'You mean you are getting married just to wear this lehenga, and not because you love Jiju...' Rads raised her brows

'This girl is so dreamy...' Shrutika rolls her eyes

'Let me give you some words of wisdom girls... Don't get attached to these men okay... Once they know you won't go anywhere, they start taking you for granted... So don't expect anything from them, just live your life and let them live theirs...' She says while the parlor lady, adjusts her hair

Naina agreed to what she said, after all Arjun took her for granted, because he knew she won't go anywhere..

'What about love, trust, and togetherness...?' Rads asked

'Nothing lasts...' Shrutika says and suddenly becomes glum

Rads and Naina understood why was she sad, Naina hugs Shrutika from back and she sighs...

'Will you ever forgive Bhaiyya...?' Naina asks and Shrutika smiles

'I forgave him long back...' she says

'But... How could you... I mean, he....' Naina argued

'Circumstances were not right Naina, he wanted something else in the life and I wanted different things, that didn't mean we never loved each other... We did... But when things were going downhill, neither of us did anything to stop it, we thought the other person will do it... That's why I say, expectation kills...'

'Will you ever love Rohan jiju...?' Naina asks

'Who says love can't happen twice...? Yes Abhimanyu will have a place in my heart, but Rohan will be the one I am going to spend my life with... I really like him, and we are similar in many terms.. I am telling you, we are going to be like those annoying lovey dovey couple you hate...' Shrutika taps Naina's nose and she chuckles

'Was it hard to forgive Abhi bhai...?' Rads asked

'I did it for my solitude, had I not forgiven him, he would always be in my mind, which would ultimately frustrate me, so for my mental peace, I forgave Abhi, and with that all my expectations from him, his return slowly faded away...' Shrutika smiles

'Aww... You are so brave Di...' Rads hugs her sister

Naina went silent at this...

Maybe this was the way to take Arjun out of her mind... Because it was true, he was ruling her mind since he was back, her anger on him, made her think about him more.. So if she forgives him, his memories may fade away...

Because he won't come back now, he has someone else...

'Hey did you take Naina's picture in that bridal dress...?'  Shrutika asks and Naina's reveire was broken at this

'No.. But Arjun can exactly describe to you how she was looking that day...' Rads smirked and Naina glared at her

'Ooo... You guys still like each other..?' Shrutika asked and Naina looked at her shocked

'I know okay, anyone can tell...'

'I don't like him...' Naina says angrily and started combing her hair

Rads and Shrutika looked at each other and then at her, Shrutika knew what Arjun did and felt bad for Naina

'Yeah okay... But I can say he was awestruck, because after you went to change, he kept staring at the place you stood for like 5 minutes...' Rads said

'Can we talk about something else...?' Naina whined

'Let it go Naina... For your mental peace, forgive him for what he did to you...' Rads says and Shrutika nods

'I am not even thinking about him...' Naina lied and Rads raised her brows

'Yeah okay, i'll forgive him...' Naina rolls her eyes and they continued their task

Wedding hall, New Delhi

Arjun and Jai were helping Rad's father and uncles in arranging the decoration, taking care of the caterers and attending the guests

'Arjun beta, can you please ask the decoration people to hurry up...? Rohan's family will arrive here any soon...' Rad's father said

'Yes Uncle...' Arjun picks up the flower basket and walks towards the decoration people

'Uncle the caterer wants to talk to you...' Jai informs and Rad's father hurriedly walk towards the caterer

Just then Sid and Ishaan enter the hall and walk towards Jai who was explaining the serving guy about the sitting arrangement

'Jai bro...' Sid jumps on him and Jai hits him

'You are late you know, you were supposed to come with the orchestra people an hour ago...' Jai scolds him

'They are already here... By the way let me introduce you to our college buddy, Ishaan...' Sid says and Ishaan smiles at him

'Heyyy how's it going man...?' Jai bro fists him

'Just fine...' Ishaan replies

Just then Arjun who was instructing the flower guy comes there, and Jai stops him

'Rad's uncle was asking about the priest...' Jai began

'Yeah, Sash has gone to fetch him, and sweets will be brought by Adi...' Arjun says and then his eyes land on Ishaan

'Arjun, this is Ishaan...' Sid began and Arjun clenched his fists

'Naina's boyfriend...' Arjun said before Sid could say anything, looking straight at Ishaan, who gulped

'Ooo so this is Naina's boyfriend...' Jai comments sarcastically

'Oh well... It's not...' Ishaan began, and Sid frowned looking at Arjun and Jai's sarcastic looks

'We talked last time, if you remember...' Arjun says, more like intimidates Ishaan

'Did we..?' Ishaan lied, as he was scared now

'Do you have a short term memory..?' Arjun raised his brows

Ishaan was about to say something, when they were interrupted by Naina's voice

'Where were you...?' she asks Ishaan, and Arjun turned to look at her

She was dressed in a cute Blue kurti, paired with matching pants and her hair open, with henna clad hands, which Arjun found beautiful, he was speechless for a moment, as he was still getting used to Naina's ethnic avatar, because all he saw her were in t shirts, cargos and other tomboyish clothes

'Oo hello... I am talking to you...' she snaps her fingers which breaks Arjun's reverie, but he realised that the taunt wasn't directed to him

'Yeah.. I had some work...' Ishaan composes himself

'Did you do the task I asked you to...?' Naina raises her brows

'Uh.. What task...?' Ishaan asked confused

'You had to pick up Di's sandals from the store, silly ! Now what will she wear ?' Naina exclaimed

'Ooo... Yeah... I'll get them ASAP... Give me 20 minutes...' Ishaan says and hurriedly checks something in his pocket

'20 minutes ? The groom's side will be here any moment...' Jai says

'God ! You had one job ! One job Arjun, and you messed it up...' Naina scolds and the guys looked at her bewildered, this was the first time since their last interaction, that she said anything related to him, Arjun was happy to hear this, that he did not vanish from her life

'Uh... I am Ishaan...' Ishaan says and Naina realises what she said

She looked at Arjun, who was staring at her, with hopeful eyes and then at Sid who looked pissed, she realised that she cannot just forget him, he will always stay at her subconscious, she cannot make an eye contact with him anymore, so she looked away..

'Yeah... Go... Get the shoes...' Naina says without looking at anyone, and walked away from there

'Sid come with me...' Ishaan says and they leave the hall..

'Why are you smiling...?' Jai asks

'There is still hope to get her forgiveness...' Arjun smiled

'How...?'

'I just feel so...' Arjun said

'You tell me this, why is her forgiveness so important to you...?' Jai asked to test waters

'Because she is important for me,  I cannot afford to lose her...' Arjun replied within seconds

'What if you guys meet different people...?' Jai asked

Arjun tensed at this 'I tried Jai and she cannot be replaced is my conclusion...' He answered

'Well, Good luck then....' Jai patted his shoulder

God help me..
