Continued...

Naina's POV

I reached the exit of my building to wait for my best friend Radhika aka Rads, she lives in the apartment opposite to mine...

We all live in this big housing colony of 7 buildings, each having 12 floors and 2 flats in each floor, there is a huge park in the centre, a common clubhouse to it's right, with a basketball and badminton courts behind it, along with a swimming pool..

All of my friends live here, most of us even go to the same schools, we all grew up together here, so we are basically a very big family, with different last names...

Finally after the long wait of three months, all of us are having a reunion type of thing today, all my friends will be there !

Including that Arjun.... Ugh... His mere mention spoils my mood... He is so irritating...

Everyone admires him.. I agree he looks good and is smart, but he's so mean... Especially to me!

He always bosses around.... Naina don't do this... Naina don't do that... That's not how you hold a bat Naina... Naina.... Naina... Ufff...!

He behaves like Maa most of the time and I am his favorite target...

That stupid handsome monkey...

I wonder what his mother fed him to be such a....

Sorry Sangeeta aunty.... But how come such a sweet lady can have a meanie son like him..

All my friends like him and the girls are basically his fangirls, including my Rads...!!

'Naina...!!! OMG I missed you...I missed you... I missed you...' my best friend literally jumped on me, out of nowhere

'Rads we met last week, But hell Yes I missed you too.. ' I hugged her back

'Romancing without us girls.. ' a voice came from behind & Rads shrieked

'Niki..!! Sid..!!! You guys.... I missed you so both much.. ' she started jumping, we chuckle and had a group hug, with Rads jumping all the time....

Geez...How much sugar you have in your system Rads...!!!!

'We missed you too... ' they said

'How are you guys...?' Sid asked

Like this we talked about our exams and other topics, while walking towards the Basketball court...

'Naina.. Why didn't you respond, when I called your name two times, and when you didn't reply, I jumped on you... What were you thinking...?' Rads asked..

'I was thinking about that jerk Arjun..'

'Oooo... Somebody likes Arjun.. ' Sid smirks & I scowl..

'Shut up... Everyone at my house were praising him..! Like he is some celebrity or something, I had to run or else my ears would've started bleeding...!' I huffed

'Even I have to hear about his achievements and how should I be like him, in every two days... I call it Arjun Puraan...'  Sid joked

'It's like everyone is his fan...' Niki comments

'Who isn't...?' Rads began and I frowned at her, while Sid smirks and takes out his phone..

'Rads... please no... don't start with his biography now....' I try to stop her, but too late..  she already started..

Why is she his biggest fan...? Right... that jerk cast a spell on her...

'He is smart, talented, not to forget incredibly handsome, a cricketer, good in studies....An all-rounder basically...' Sid seemed to do something on his phone, smirking all the time...

What the hell is he up to, and why isn't Rads shutting up...

'Everyone in our society likes him... Aditi would die if he smiled at her...But he never does, I mean who won't faint looking at him smile...You know I saw him yesterday, he looks hotter now ' Rads said dreamily..

Ugh... Why didn't she melt then...

'Really Radhika.... Why don't you take him home as souvenir..' I was hell irritated by now, She's my best friend, she can't praise him...

'I wish....' she sighed dreamily

'Radhika Khanna ! Don't you dare to talk with me...' I said and started walking towards the court..

'Naina... Wait..! ' she said

Just then Sid played the voice recording on his phone where Rads was praising Arjun..

I turn around shocked and Rads was stupefied...

'I wonder what Arjun has to say about this.. ' he smirked at her

'SIDDDDD....!!! DELETE THAT... Don't show this to him... Shitt that would be so embarrassing.... Damn how will I face him, Please please Sid.. Delete it....' Rads begs

'Hahaha.. Stop me if you can...' he laughed and ran away, while Rads followed him...

Me and Niki started laughing...

'O my god.. I can totally imagine Rads face when Arjun listens to that...' Niki said..

'Me too...' I laughed

Poor Rads, I hope that jerk doesn't make fun of her over this... I'll be more than happy to kill him...

'By the way I love your outfit girl, such clothes suit you... Jumpsuits, Dungarees, T shirts... ' Niki says

'Thanks babe.. They are so comfy.... ' I reply

'Try something girly as well sometimes, we shouldn't stick to one style forever you know...'

'I don't know the correct clothes Niki...'

'I'll help you!' She clapped her hands excitedly 'I would love to give you a makeover...'

'Yeah let's do that someday...'

No way

'Really..!! Yayy can't wait...' she said excitedly

I smiled and we reached the Basket Ball Court..

Everyone was there.. And there he was... All girls were gathered around him, listening and giggling to whatever he blabbered.. I roll my eyes at them and looked around to find the others...

The boys were chatting around, when Jai spotted me...

'Naina broo...' he called, Then all the boys looked at me and said Hi...

I smiled and waved at them..

Even Arjun stopped blabbering and looked at me, but I ignored him... He muttered something at this...

'Naina.. Come here.. We are watching yesterday game's highlights.. ' Vivek calls me, and I excitedly went towards them, while Niki joined the girls and Arjun...

'The last wicket was so awesome man... I mean we won by a single run...' I exclaim

'Totally dude... Arjun bhai was literally jumping on the couch at that moment... ' Shashank Arjun's younger brother said

'Yeah, he totally looked like a Kangaroo' Aditya, Shashank's twin said..

We all laughed at this, when we heard Arjun's voice...

'I can hear you all, alright..? And you two, you have to go back to the same house with me...' he said threateningly and the twins gulped

Poor them... He bullies even his younger brothers... Arrogant Kangaroo...

'Good ! Now we know that those Big ears of yours function properly ' I reply sarcastically and the boys laughed, while his followers glared at me

What...? Is he all of theirs husband or what...

'I suggest you keep that big mouth of yours shut Naina' he says

'Well I refuse to consider your suggestion.. ' the boys sniggered, but keep their mouths covered...

He looked mad now, he opened his mouth to say something, but then didn't and glared at me...

Take that pretty boy..!!

'You are late... 15 minutes late actually... You know I hate late comers..' he said irritated

The Basket ball court was quiet now...

Afterall no one, I repeat no one messes with The Arjun Thapar....

'Just to be clear.... I don't care what you love or hate.... And 15 minutes doesn't make much difference.. If time matters so much to you, why didn't you start the game.. Why entertain the girls with those lame joke of yours.. ' I match his tone

They glared at me.. like literally, all the girls.... Not Niki of course, who was trying not to laugh...

'We were waiting for you guys.. And 15 minutes does make a difference, when you.... ' he began

Not again....

'Really Arjun.. aren't you wasting time now..' I cut him off, just then Aditi jumped in..

'He's Right Naina.. You made a mistake and he pointed out... Don't argue now...' she said

How is this a mistake....? Why the hell is everyone making a fuss out of 15 damn minutes...!

'He's older than you Naina.. you shouldn't talk to him like that..' Tanya jumped in..

Jai and the other guys were controlling their laughs, while rest others didn't really bother what was going on, they chatted among themselves...

God I am so irritated now....!

'Yeah.. you are right Taani.. We should respect the senior citizens... Grandpa Arjun, i will be on time from next time, you need anything else....?' I say sarcastically and this time everyone laughed, except him and his flatterers of course

'You... ' he gritted

Just then Sid ran into the court with Rads running behind him, she was breathless Poor Rads.. Sid is very fast though...

'Arjun Bro.. You have to listen this... ' he took his phone out

The color on Radhika's face drained off, and so was mine..

I mean Was he serious...? I glared at Sid and he smirked..

Sid you can't be serious, this Kangaroo Arjun cannot be trusted, he can humiliate Radhika for this...

Arjun noticed our silent battle...'What is it..? ' he asks

'None of your business.. ' I said and tried to take away the cell phone from Sid's hand, But Arjun caught a hold of it....

'Arjun leave the phone.. ' I warn him

'Let me hear it.... I know it's something related to me..' he said

How did he know..

'No it isn't... '

'What is it Naina.. Is it your love confession for me...?' he smirked

Now everyone laughed except me and Rads who stood still on her place.. I was shocked, my grip on the phone tightened..

Never in my dreams I will love this arrogant boy...

'You wish.. ' I scowl at him

'Guys it's my only phone.. Please don't break it.. Gareeb aadmi pe reham karo..(show mercy on this poor man) ' Sid cried..

'Then tell her to leave the phone, and let me hear... '

'No you won't hear anything... '

'Ooo... So intense.. ' Kartik comments..

'Ooooo... I am soooo scared.. ' he mocks me

'My phone..' Sid cried

Arjun snatched the phone from me and played the file...My breath hitched at this...

Poor rads.. Now everyone will tease her... I can't see this.... I shut my eyes tightly....

Everyone now looked in anticipation, they all were curious about what was in the audio file...

'All India Radio me Aapka swagat hai.. Aaj ki shuruwat karenge khel samachaar se.... (Welcome to All India Radio, we'll begin with sports news) ' A man spoke

Everyone started laughing at this, Sid smiled at Rads who sighed relief..

I took a deep breath and open my eyes to see an irritated Arjun, who glared at Sid and tossed his phone back to him..

I smile at Sid, and then smirk at Arjun...

Take that again pretty boy...

'I know something is fishy and I will find out... ' he threatened me and Sid, and walked away followed by his fans...

'Come on Guys.. Enough with the warm ups.. ' Jai said looking at Arjun and then me..

'Let's begin the game.. ' Sash says..

And everyone gathered at center of the playground
