8 months later...

Valentine's Day...

Naina, Sid and Radhika are in high school, they will join colleges next year, Arjun was in the final stage of his admission in the business school, after this he will go to USA for 5 years, while Jai is in his second semester of Engineering...

Jai and Arjun are at the clubhouse, waiting for their friends, Sid approaches them and takes his seat opposite Arjun...

'Hola Amigos...' he grins

'Hey bro ! You left the school early ? Didn't you have any class today...?' Arjun enquires passing him his cold drink bottle

'Who attends class on Valentine's day' Sid sips his drink

'Coming from a date ?' Jai smirks

'Yeah...' Sid sighs

'You had a date too, give us details bro...' Arjun says to Jai

'She was idk, very stupid, she thought Delhi and Bihar are same...' Jai said and they all started laughing

'What the hell bro... how did she get into your college for engineering...?' Sid asks

'Her father is an influential businessman, so she came through management seat I guess...' Jai rolled his eyes

'Are you going out with her again...?' Arjun asks

'Not in this life...' Jai shivers and they laugh

'Arjun bro, why didn't you go on a date today, it's not like you don't have options...' Sid smirked

Arjun tensed a bit, and the first girl came to her mind was Naina, he shrugged the thought and took a sip of his cold drink

'I am in no hurry to find someone... Besides I am leaving for USA in 3 months, will find someone there...' he smirked and boys hooted

'Atta boy !' They pat his shoulders, but Arjun knew he was lying...

'What happened to your date, wasn't she good ?' Jai asks

'She was pretty, But certainly not my type...' Sid replies making himself comfortable on his seat...

'This is the 4th 'not your type' girl we are hearing about ' Arjun chuckles

'I know !'

'Kindly enlighten us, what is your type ?' J asks

'I don't know, Maybe.....' He stares behind Arjun..... 'Naina ?' he sort of enquires

'WHATT...!' Arjun & Jai exclaimed at the same time...

'Are you mad ? She'll kill you ! Didn't you see, the way she rejects boys..?' J says and Arjun sighs internally, but then thought of her being with someone else angers him...

'Sid, Keep Naina away from all this !' Arjun said annoyed..

Sid stares at them confused and then realised what he said and what they comprehended...

'No no no no...! I didn't mean that.. I'm asking Radhika ! Where is Naina....?' he said pointing towards Rads who joined them...

Arjun relaxed and turned around to find Naina, but Rads was alone...

She smiles at them and takes seat beside Sid...

'Hey guys...'

'Yo kiddo !' Jai as usual ruffles her hair earning a glare

'Rads, Where is Naina...?' Sid asks

She stares at them confused...

'She didn't return ?'

'No ! We thought she'll come with you' Arjun said

'She was not with me... Mummy needed some help at the boutique so I left early' Rads replied

'Then where is this girl ?' Jai said and Arjun takes out his phone to dial her number...

'Maybe she went on a date with that Dude who asked her out today...!' Sid said non chalantly....

All three of them stared at him shocked and Arjun's grip on his phone tightened...

'What dude...? Tell us everything....!' Jai exclaimed excitedly earning a glare from Arjun..

'Who Are you talking about?' Rads asked

'I don't know his name..' Sid said

'That tall guy, from section A, always gets punished, wears glasses, spikes his hairs...? ' Rads described the guys features...

'Yes ! Exactly he was the one' Sid replied

'Who is this ? Tall, Section B, Rishi' Arjun gritted

'She said section A.....' Jai began, but closes his mouth after earning another glare from him

'He is the heartthrob of our school bro !' Sid said dreamily...

'Now I know your type...!' J stares at Sid suspiciously 'You know what...! Stay away from us !' he shifts his chair away...

Rads began laughing...

'What.. No !' Sid cried

'So Naina likes this Rishi ?' Arjun asked, his expression serious

'No ! Naina doesn't like him, she avoids him all the time, but he always follows her, it's getting into her nerves...!' Rads informed

'Poor Guy...!' Jai chuckles

'So you are saying Rishi asked Naina out ?' Rads enquired

'Yeah..! That too, in front of everyone...' Sid said & Rads gasped

'What did Naina say...?' Arjun asked tensed

'I don't know, I came to know about it from others, it was today's hot topic actually !' Sid replied

'Oh no, She must be very angry !' Rads exclaimed

'Why angry ?' Jai asks

'She doesn't like him Jai, Naina already made this clear to him, right at the start, but that guy, continued to irritate her..' Rads huffed and the boys tensed

'Anyway Naina is...' she continued, but stopped mid sentence looking nervously towards the boys, specifically Arjun who was starting at her in anticipation to speak further

'Naina is ?' he coaxed

'Is not interested in all this, you should see the cringe on her face, when someone talks about these things....' Rads laughed, and they chuckled

Arjun relaxed a bit

Just then Jai spots Naina approaching them slowly, her nose was red, she was clutching her book tightly close to her chest...

All of them looked at her worriedly

She silently walked towards them and sat beside Arjun..

'Hey ! Are you okay...?' Arjun held her hands... She nods..

'Naina, I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have left...' Rads apologized

'It's not your fault Rads, I shouldn't have avoided his advances, Had I confronted him earlier, this wouldn't have happened, I should've slapped him the very first time, he wouldn't have dared to do what he did today...' Naina said angrily tears filling her eyes..

'What did he do ?' Jai asked...

Arjun's grip on her hands tightened

'He asked me out in the canteen, during the lunch break, almost half of the school was there...' she replied controlling her tears

'What did you say ?' Arjun asked softly...

'I...I ran away from there, I was shocked, I didn't know, what to say, his friends were mocking me... So... I...' she croaked

'Those morons' Sid gritted

'I hate Valentine's Day' she cried

Arjun pulled her closer and rubbed her back... 'It's Okay. ..!' he whispered

'Don't cry Naina...' Rads said

'I'm not sad alright, I'm just angry... I.. I don't know why these tears... arrrrgghhhh !' she sighed frustratedly, while Arjun held her tightly..

'Hey, It happens ! Don't worry....!' Jai tried to calm her down

'You could've beat him up...' Sid suggested

'My mind went blank, no one has ever asked me out in front of so many people, It felt so humiliating with stares and hooting, I hid myself in the washroom for an hour !' Naina sobbed on Arjun's chest...

Naina walked straight towards the library, avoiding her classmates gazes....

She was about to enter when someone pulled her towards in the opposite direction, It was Rishi....

Naina was shocked to see his nose and arms bandaged, his friends were there too, but they didn't mock her today...

'What happened ?' she asked

'Uh.. Nothing,... I fell of the stairs so..' Rishi scratches back of his head and his friends stiffled their laughs

Naina didn't say anything, though she was still angry on him for yesterday... She still felt bad for his injuries...

'Listen Naina, I wanted to apologize for yesterday, I know I went way too further...' he sighed

'I know you don't like me, and I promise I won't bother you from now on... But can I be your friend ?' he puts his hand forward

Naina looks at him suspiciously, but then sighing takes his hand 'Yeah...!' she replied

'We are sorry too Naina... we won't mock you from now...' one of his friend said

'That's all right... Take care you guys... You too Rishi...' She said

'Thank you Naina, you are very kind' Rishi smiled, he and his friends walked away from there...

'Good Riddance...' Naina sighed and turned around to see a familiar person staring at her from a distance

He smiled and put his arms around her neck, choking her playfully...

'This was my school as well, I came to meet my professors...' Arjun replied

'Thanks junior, anyway was he your boyfriend ?' he asked about Rishi

'Ewww No !' she huffed 'He was the same irritating section A guy, came to apologize for yesterday...'

'Oh !' He smiled more like smirked

'I wonder what changed his mind' Arjun said scratching his head...

'Whatever it is, Atleast he won't bother me' Naina grinned

'Good, Now I have to leave, You go attend your classes..' He left Naina from his hold

'Yeah, I'll see you at the Basketball court today ?' she asks

'Yes, Just practice your basketball skills a bit and come, I hate playing with amateurs...' he teased

'That's fine, I'll cheer for you... like Aditi does...' Naina teases him

'Ha ha.. very funny... Good that I m leaving....' Arjun rolls his eyes

'Aww... someone will miss his girlfriend...'

'Accha listen !' he came closer, She stares at him bewildered

'Belated Happy Valentine's Day Junior' he hugged her tightly

Naina was shocked, she got out of his hold, and looked around, some of her classmates were staring

'Are you crazy, this is school!' She says horrified

'So what?' He pulled her cheeks

So this is why Rishi was rejected she heated hushed voices

'Arjun Go!' Naina says trying to hide her embarrassment

Arjun who heared too these whispers smiled at himself and decided to tease further

'I'll See you after school honey!' He said a bit louder and Naina gasped
