"Hey there, what's going on" Rafe said as Kie and Adeline looked at Alex and JJ. "JJ" Rafe said.

Barry then made his appearance known. "Well, well" Rafe said and cocked his gun causing JJ to put his hands up in surrender.

"See don't think I forgot about me and you on the side of the road I'm because I want my freaking money" Barry said as he went to attack, and JJ and Adeline shove him away from him.

"Barry went to attack her when Rafe stepped in front of her. "Hey, she's my sister she's off limits" Rafe said.

"Don't worry I got her" Rafe said and held her back as Barry attacked JJ. "Hey, let go of me let me go" Adeline yelled trying to get out of Rage's grip as Kie and Alex tried to help JJ.

"That's what I'm here for" Barry said as Alex pushed him off of JJ.

"It's not you we want Kie or even Adi" Rafe said and made Adeline face him as he let her go.

"Alright where's John B" Rafe asked. "I don't know" Kie said. "Even if we did, we wouldn't tell you" Adeline said. "Unlike you John B is our friend, and we know he's innocent" Alex said.

"And also" Adeline said and slapped Rafe. "Never touch me again" Adeline said.

"Adi chill that might make things worse" Alex said. "Stay down boy" Barry told JJ.

"I really wish you didn't do that" Rafe told Adeline and Kie got in front of Adeline. "You wouldn't hit your sister would you" Kie asked him.

"It's Rafe he's capable of anything" Alex told Kie while he was protecting JJ from Barry, "We know what you did" Kie told Rafe.

"What, what did I do" Rafe asked. "You murdered Peterkin" Adeline said getting Barry's attention.

"Where is my money huh" Barry asked JJ going to hit him when Alex punched him. "Stay away from him" Alex said as Rafe choked Kie.

"Hey, let her go" Adeline said trying to pry Rade's hand off of Kie. "Don't you ever say those words again" Rafe said. "Rafe" Kie said. "Understand" Rafe said.

"Rafe if you truly care about me let her go now" Adeline said. "Do you understand where's John B" Rafe asked. "Stay down boys" Barry said as he managed to knock down JJ and Alex.

"Where's John B" Rafe asked. "We told you we don't know" Adeline said.

"Where's John B huh" Rafe asked. "We don't know, we don't know" Rafe said and Pope hit Rafe with the closest thing he could find causing Rafe to let go of Kie and Kie quickly grabbed Adeline.

"Don't touch her" Pope told Rafe as he hit him again. Rafe went to hit him but missed.

"Should I intervene" Adeline asked. "No, I think he has it under control" Kie said as pope punched Rafe.

"Rafe" Barry said as he cocked his gun. JJ and Alex got him and hit Barry at the same causing him to drop the gun. Pope kept punching Rafe.

"Ads kick it" JJ told Adeline and she did as he said. JJ and Alex kept beating up Barry so he wouldn't be able to get the gun. Pope kept punching Rafe as the girls saw.

"Pope, okay Pope, Pope" Kie said as they saw he wasn't stopping Alex saw Adeline going to Pope but stopped her.

"No let JJ do it you could get hurt" Alex said as JJ went to Pope. "Hey Pope" JJ said.

"Pope that's good stop" Alex said. "He's had enough dude" JJ told Pope. "He's good" Kie said.

"Snap out of it man" JJ told Pope. "Snap out of it, dude" JJ said as Pope choked Rafe. "Pope stop" Adeline said.

"Stop dude" JJ said. "Pope" Alex said. "Dude come on stop, stop dude" JJ told Pope trying to get him to stop. "Pope get off" Koe said. "Let go come on" JJ said.

"Look at me" Kie said, and Pope finally let go. "I think someone may have anger issues" Alex said.

"Yeah, seems like it" Adeline said as Pope looked at Rafe. "Okay we gotta go, we gotta go" Koe said and left with JJ, Adeline and Alex.

"Stay off the cut" Pope told Rafe. "Pope" Alex said, and Pope followed them.

"Dude where is he" Kie asked. "Give him a second he'll be here" Pope said. "He needs to hurry" Adeline said. "If he gets caught by the cops all of this was for nothing" Alex said.

"He's coming he'll be fine" JJ said. "Uh guys" Adeline said as she saw a cop car. "JJ, Alex" Koe said.

"Hey yeah get back on the boat get back on the boat untie it" JJ said. "Just our luck" Adeline said. Just as they were about to get back on the boat, they stopped seeing it was John B.

"Wait no way" JJ said once he saw John B. "No way" Pope said. "Not possible" Alex said.

"I'm just glad it's you and not a cop" Adeline said giving John B a quick hug. "I'm sorry" Kie said.

"You've gotta be kidding me" JJ said. "Uh" Kie said confused. "Shoupe let me take it for a spin" John B said.

"Yeah, sure he did" Alex said. "Okay that's believable I'll buy that for now" Kie said and gave John B a quick hug.

"It wasn't easy bro, but I got the phantom for you, and she runs like she was made yesterday" JJ told John B. "It wasn't easy is the nice way of putting it we almost got killed" Alex said.

"You ready to go" JJ asked John B giving him the keys. "Where's Sarah" John B asked not seeing her. "Sarah" Adeline said confused and looked around.

"She's not with you" Kie asked John B. "No, we got separated in the swamp she said she was going to meet me here" John B said.

"No, we haven't seen her" Pope said. "Okay well I'm not leaving without her" John B said. "You don't have a choice" Alex said. "He's right John B look at me" JJ said and John B did.

"I know you feel bad for leaving but there's no time man you've got plenty of gas you've got plenty of food once you get around that point it's a straight shot across the sound to dismel swamp okay once you get there lay low alright hang out for a couple weeks and then go overland cross the border at Brownsville you got that Brownsville hey you got that" JJ said.

"Yeah, yeah Brownsville" John B said. "I'm going with you" Adeline said.

"No, you're not" John B said. "John B" Adeline said and John B looked at her.

"Adi I'm the big brother blood or not I'm still your brother and it's my job to protect you and if you go with me, I be putting your life on the line on the run and I don't know when I'll be back your safer here with Keo, Pope, Alex" John B said and looked at JJ. "But most of all JJ" he added.

"You're not going please I need you alive" John B said. "I'll go" Alex said seeing Adeline worried still.

"What" Adeline said. "Don't worry I'll keep your brother safe, and you and I know I'd do anything for you they even if he tried to talk me out of it, I'll still go" Alex said.

"Alright saddle her up saltwater cowboy let's do this yeah" JJ said and John B and Alex got on the boat.

"Hey, hey I'm sorry for basically throwing us off a cliff with this whole treasure hunt thing" John B said.

"Hey John B yo we were bound to run off a cliff at some point right" JJ said causing them all to laugh. "Yeah" John B said.

"At least we did it together though pogue style" JJ said pulling in Kie, Adeline, and Pope.

"Pogue style" John B and Alex said in sync. "Get out of here please" Kie said. "Now" Adeline said.

"We'll see you in two months down in Mexico" Pope said. "Love you" JJ said. "Hey, wait a second tell Sarah I said goodbye okay" John B said.

"We will" Adeline said. "Don't forget cross the border at Brownsville okay" JJ said. "Got it" John B said and was about to force off but stopped as he looked at Adeline before looking at JJ.

"JJ do me a favor and take care of Adi" John B told JJ.

"I will I promise" JJ said and John B nodded before he drove off as Alex waved goodbye to Adeline, JJ, Kie, and Pope.

"You okay" Kie asked Pope. "I'm sorry for acting like a dumb idiot I was just upset, and I was acting Petty" Pope said.

"Yeah" Kie said. "And I just" Pope said. "It's okay" Kie said. "Just wanna be friends again" Pope said offering his hand but Kie didn't take his hand.

She went closer to Pope and hugged him. Once they pulled away from the hug Kie kissed him.

"Huh didn't see that comic" Adeline said as she and JJ saw. JJ then looked at Adeline seeing she was still worried.

"Hey Ads, don't worry they'll be okay" JJ told her and Adeline kidded even though she wasn't convinced. JJ looked seeing cops coming before facing Kie and Pope.

"Hey guys I'm sorry to ruin the party but uh we gotta go right now come on" JJ said and as they were about to take off cop cars surrounded them.

"Pope" Kie said as she and Adeline put their hands up in surrender. "Move hands up, hands up" the cop said. "Pope hands" Kie said as JJ and Pope put their hands up.

"We're too late he's gone batches have your guys stand down let me tell tot these kids" Shoupe said.

"Alright where is he, where is he" Shoupe asked, and no one spoke up.

"Adeline what about you, you gonna tell me where your brother is" Shoupe asked but she stayed silent.

"JJ, I see you're living up to your name Pope how about you this isn't a game you can do the right thing now where'd he, go" Shoupe asked.

"Suspect had just left station 26 in a small boat need marine patrol to respond" the cop said.

"Right to your left here" Shope said showing Kie, JJ, Pope and Adeline where to sit.

"Right here" the woman cop said. "Sit down don't move we gotta a lot to talk about" Shoupe said as Kie, Adeline, Pope, and JJ sat down. "Keep an eye on these kids" Shoupe said before leaving.

Adeline saw Pope put his hands on Kie's as she slightly smiled but quickly frowned as she couldn't help but worry.

JJ noticed this as he quickly held her hand causing her to smile at him.

"Any luck on the sister" the cop asked Shoupe. "If she's not giving up her brother there's no way she'll help us get him even as dangerous as the storm is" Shoupe said.

"Alright there might be more lord card we can play" the cop told Shoupe.

After losing signal on John B, Alex, and Sarah and looking everywhere for them but still not being able to find them.

Shoupe went to JJ, Kie, Adeline, and Pope causing them to stand up.

"Did you find them" Pope asked and Shoupe shook his head. "No" Shoupe said. "So, they got away" Koe said. "We uh we lost them" Shoupe said as Adeline looked at him.

"I'm sorry" Shoupe said. "What" Adeline said as tears threatened to fall.

"You lost them what do you mean you lost them like they're gone what are you talking about" Pope asked.

"They took an open boat into a tropical depression Pope" Shoupe said.

"So, you're telling me my brother one of my oldest friends and Sarah my newly discovered bio sister is dead" Adeline asked. "We don't know" Shoupe said.

"You drove them straight through the storm man are you kidding me come here man I'm gonna kill you" JJ said as Adeline was too much in shock to say anything while JJ went to Shoupe as cops held him back.

"JJ stop" Kie said. Adeline walked a little away as tears finally feel causing Kie to see as Adeline fell to her knees.

"He didn't kill anyone, and you know it" Pope told Shoupe. "We're still looking for him alright" Shoupe said as Adeline sobbed uncontrollably.

"Pope, Pope just, stop" Koe told him and noticed Adeline. "JJ" Kie said getting JJ's attention.

"Adi" Kie said, and JJ got out of the cop's grip running to Adeline holding her as she cried.

Mike and Anna then walked in as Kie saw. They saw how upset Kie was and hugged her. Pope then noticed his parents as they approached him.

Cara, Pope's mother hugged him as Pope letters fell. Heyward then noticed JJ and Adeline who was now in the ground with JJ holding Adeline as she went to fall to her knees again.

JJ held her as tight as he could knowing how much John B and Alex meant to her especially John B.

Because not only did JJ lose his best friend and some new friends but Adeline lost her brother, a newly discovered sister and her oldest friend.

"I'm sorry" Pope told Heyward as he approached Pope.

"I'm sorry" Pope said and Heyward joined in on the hug. Heyward pulled away from Pope and JJ and Adeline went to him hugging him causing Pope and Cara to group hug them.

"John B" Adeline said sobbing. "Big brother" she added as tears fell.
