"Look he'll come around alright it's he's doing a JJ thing" John B said. "One of us should've gone after him" Adeline said and Alex noticed she looked guilty.

"You think he'll go home" Kie asked. "There's about a zero percent chance that JJ goes home" Pope said.

"We don't know that for sure" Adeline said. "Hey Adi, it's okay he'll come back he just needs to cool off" Alex told her and Adeline just looked outside.

"You okay" John B asked Sarah and she nodded. "Yeah" Sarah told him. "Are you" she asked him.

"I mean I'm in one piece so" John B said. Adeline faced Pipe once she heard him sigh.

"Okay it's too dangerous to pawn this thing off piecemeal so our best bet is to go down there and get the rest of it bring it all up at once put it in, in a safe or a vault or something I don't know just until we can find someone who won't rip us off okay I can go figure it out tonight I can get it all done and we can be out there as early as tomorrow morning" Pope said.

"Morning ugh I'm a night owl not a morning person" Adeline said. "Adi" John B said as Adeline pouted.

"Fine" Adeline said. "I'll make John B buy you something once we get the money from the gold what do you want" Sarah asked Adeline as Adeline pretended to think.

"Three...two...one" Kie said knowing what she was going to say. "Books, milkshakes, and strawberries" Adeline said.

"You got it" Sarah said smiling at her half-sister. "Alright let's do it" Alex said. "Easy" Pope said.

"Yeah, let's go" John B said. "What about that thing with my dad" Sarah asked. "Crap" John B said. "What thing" Adeline asked. "I have to go fishing with Ward" John B said.

"Fishing" Adeline said. "You can't get 400 mil cause you're gonna go kill fish" Kie asked. "Look I have to go" John B said.

"Blow it off, it's 400 million in gold" Alex said. "Make something up" Kie said.

"Look I have to okay he saved me alright and if it weren't for Ward I'd be in foster care Adi too technically" John B said.

"Well technically both Ward and Rafe they're the ones who bailed me out of jail" Adeline said. "So, I have to go plus it'll be better to do it at night" John B said.

"Right" John B said, and everyone stayed silent for a moment. "Fine, fine go fishing" Pope said.

"And at least JJ will probably have washed up by then" Kie said. "Here's hoping" Adeline said.

"Guess we'll see you at night or whenever you get back" Alex said.

"Maybe" Alex said and saw Pope and Kie waiting on them.

"Come on there's Pope and Kie" Alex said and they headed over to Pope and key getting in the truck and leaving.

"So, we gotta be done before my scholarship interview in the morning" Pope said. "Fine with me" Adeline said. "Same here I might have to help out with my folks anyways" Alex said.

"Okay well we gotta focus" Kie said. "I know, I know it's gonna be fine we got John B, Alex, and JJ inside the well and me and Adi up top and you and Sarah will be outside transporting" Pope said, and they all got out of the truck.

"Yeah, we got this" Kie said. "Cool" Pope said. "Let's do this" Alex said. "Uh I got a winch" Pope said. "Yeah" Kie said.

"That tin can hold over like 200, 300 pounds" Pope said. "Nice thinking Pope" Adeline said and Pope smiled.

"Thanks" Kie said to Pope. "Uh what for" Pope asked. "Stranding us you know making us make up" Kie said. "What makes you think that was me" Pope asked.

"Could've easily been me" Alex said. "You guys hear that" Adeline asked as she looked with Pope, Kie, and Alex. "Who is that" Kie asked.

They all went to see who it was only to see JJ in a hot tub. "What did you do JJ" Pope asked.

"I got a jet going straight in my butt right now y'all should get in immediately you hear me Salud" JJ said as he poured himself a drink.

"How much did this cost" Alex asked. "Uh well with the generators, the petrol, and oh hey express delivery pretty much all of it yeah" JJ said.

"All of it" Pope asked. "Yeah, all of it" JJ said. "You spent all of that money in one day" Pope asked.

"Yeah, burned a hole right through my pocket but I mean like come on guys like look at this finest in jet-based massage therapy that's what they told me" JJ said.

"Kie what" JJ said noticing her facial expression and noticed Adeline had the same expression.

"Ads not you too" JJ said to her. "Can't a man have a little luxury in life" JJ said and took off the sunglasses he had on.

"Come on all this scrimping and scraping I mean like guys we you only live once right enough of this emotional stuff get in the cat's butt come on" JJ said.

"In the, what" Kie asked. "Did you say what I think you said" Adeline asked.

"In the cat's butt that's what I named her oh hey Yō I almost forgot" JJ said and pressed a button making the lights go on.

"Huh yeah that's right I know disco mode that's right baby" JJ said. "Are you kidding me" Alex said. "You could've paid for restitution for Adi" Pope said.

"Or literally given it to any charity" Kie said. "Or better yet you could have helped us buy supplies to get the rest of the gold out of the well" Alex said.

"Okay well you know what I didn't do that" JJ said standing up and they all noticed his bruises.

"JJ" Adeline said once she seen the bruises. "I got a hot tub for my friends; I got a hot tub for my friends you know what no you know what screw friends I got a hot tub for my family" JJ said as Adeline held the tears she had as she saw JJ's bruises wishing more than anything it was her instead of him.

"I got this for you guys look what I did for you alright look at this, look at this" JJ said. "JJ" Kie and Adeline said in sync.

"No, you stop being emotional it's fine okay I mean it's sweet right everything just, get in" JJ said.

Adeline saw JJ on the verge of tears and got in the hot tub not caring she was in clothes and hugged JJ as he slowly wrapped his arms around her as Adeline allowed JJ to cry in her arms.

"I just couldn't do it I can't take him anymore I was gonna kill him Ads" JJ said crying.

Pope, Alex, and Kie all walked in the hot tub joining in on the hug. "I just wanna do the right thing" JJ said. "I know, I know" Adeline said.

After a few moments once JJ stopped crying, they pulled away from the hug.

"Come with me let's get those wounds taken care of" Adeline said to JJ offering her hand. JJ took her hand, and she led them out of the hot tub into the house.

"This might help" Adeline said as she went to JJ who was sitting on her bed.

"I'm sorry you have to see me like this" JJ said as Adeline aids his wounds. "Don't be I do anything for you JJ you know that" Adeline said.

"Sorry" Adeline said as she saw JJ flinch. "It's okay" JJ said and saw Adeline put the supplies up. 

"Thanks" JJ said as Adeline stared at him for a moment wanting to say something but decided against it which JJ noticed. "Yeah, it's no problem" Adeline said smiling and got up causing JJ to get up as well.

"Ads I know you have a secret something I don't know something you've kept from me for a while I know you, what is it, please tell me" JJ said.

"JJ it's nothing" Adeline said getting close to him. "I promise okay" Adeline said. "Ads I know when you lie" JJ said. "Come on you can tell me anything you know that" JJ said.

"Not this" Adeline said shaking her head. "So, there is something" JJ asked as Adeline stayed quiet. "Ads tell me please" JJ said. "It could ruin everything JJ" Adeline said.

"It won't now just tell me" JJ said and Adeline sighed. "Okay" Adeline said taking a breath.

"Okay" she said again. "I like you and not like a friend like but like I have feelings for you JJ Maybank" Adeline said surprising JJ.

"And it's okay if you don't feel the same, we can just forget this ever happened and" Adeline said and JJ stopped her rambling by kissing her surprising her.

"What" Adeline said once JJ pulled away. "You think I don't have feelings for you of course I do how can I not look at you you're hot, caring, loving you always put your life at risk for me and everyone else Ads you even went to jail for Pope knowing that if you didn't I would and possibly get beat by my dad I'd be an idiot to not have feelings for you" JJ said.

"So, what now" Adeline asked. "I guess we figure that part out but for now" JJ said and kissed her once again causing Adeline to kiss back.

They slowly started to make out but soon the kiss got heated. JJ then picked up Adeline causing her to wrap her legs around his waist without breaking the kiss.

JJ then laid Adeline on the bed and got on top of her. Adeline went to take off her shirt when JJ stopped her.

"Are you sure" JJ asked wanting to be sure, she was sure.

"I'm sure" Adeline said and took off her shirt tossing it.

"Okay" JJ said and kissed her as she kissed back. He moved to her neck as she caught her breath before JJ resumed to her lips where things got heated for the night.
