Six stood, infront of her was the child she was scared of. Most of the times, when she got a hunger strike in the nightmare she had, she would see a Shadow child who looked like her, and thus Six named her Shadow Six.

Shadow Six.... She was scary, she showed when she wants to, and if she did, nothing good would come. She was her ally, but in the same time her foe. Shadow Six's loyalties are a mystery, just like Doll Twenty-Three.

Wait a minute.... Was it a coinsidence that Six and Twenty-Three have a evil alter? To put they are cousins....

No, Six hoped, gulping down the lump on her throat while her stomach continued to stab in pain. She winced and held her stomach, Shadow Six titled her head.

Hungry? She asked.

Author: GRAB A KITKAT.

Author: I was tempted to write that, sorry.

Author: *ahem* going back.

Six scowled, "No, my stomach is just wanting food," she spat.

Shadow Six giggled, Oh my goodness Six! You are so feisty even if you're near to the brink of death. I did choose the right child to live in.

It felt like Six was slapped, her mouth hung agape, "What?"

I'm your Hunger, Six. That's why you see me now! You're too hungry that it's killing you. Hunger is, of course, more than of Pain. Hunger makes you crave for something, yet Pain you can't, Shadow Six said and Six's eyebrows knitted, "Why are you sounding like that shadow windy guy?"

Shadow Six smiled while walking closer to Six, Cause that's what it's all this is, dummy! I'm gonna do you soooo many favors, but you only owe me one thing.

"And now you're sounding like Doll Twenty-Three," Six mumbled, Shadow Six now grinned, Well, she's somewhat like me too. We're going to get something in return for our undying helpfulness and it is worth it.

"What is it anyways?" Six asked, the churning sensations of her stomach getting stronger and stronger. Shadow Six giggled again, You'll know, soon, she said before disappearing, leaving a trail of black dust behind her.

Six scowled and continued to stagger around, her stomach grumbled louder and she gasped in pain again. It was like her hunger was cutting the walls of her stomach, it hurts so much.

Six placed a hand on the lockers to steady herself and went on staggering to the corner where the three others are. Six gasped, her stomach squelched. She stumbled to the floor, curling up to a ball hoping that would ease the pain.

The pain, the hunger, and the trobbing in her head was all Six felt before she fainted.

.: Seven's P.o.V. :.

"Six sure is taking a long time looking for things to make a fire," Twenty-Three said while they waited for Six to return. It has been aproximately thirty minutes and to an hour. Seven felt ever second was itching him and he got worried and worried.

In the pit of Seven's gut, he didn't like the feeling swirling his stomach. Something was off, very off. His brain went to a brainstorm session to what would take Six very long.

A monster? Janitor? That Hunter dude Twenty-Three and Mono told them about?

Possibly.

Hunger strike?

Another good possiblitiy, since it was so long when Six last ate, but if she was going to get a hunger strike, she could've asked Seven for food since he did carry food for her.

Getting too many papers?

Maybe. Six could be piling up all the Math books to burn and would go look for more, but Six wouldn't do that, she couldn't carry lots of papers.

That feeling in Seven's gut continued to swirl, he felt jittery, like he had a shot of coffee when he never had coffee for his whole fracking life. His finger tapped continuously on his thigh as another second came.

That's it, Seven thought while standing up. Mono and Twenty-Three looked up at him, "Seven?" Twenty-Three asked.

"I'm gonna look for Six, she's taking long. What if she was...." Seven didn't dare to finish his thought. The two seemed to notice what he was implying and Mono nodded grimly, "Sure, just be safe."

Seven nodded, "Yeah, I'll be right back," he said before walking off.

"And that's what Six said," he heard Twenty-Three mumble before Mono shushed her. Seven broke out for a run, since he saw Six went to the left, he ran to the left. He looked around to see broken lockers, single light bulbs... and....

Seven's eyes widened as he stood infront of Six's limp body, she was shaking like as if she was convulsing. She gripped onto the floor as she coughed, and it caused blood to get out her mouth.

GROWLLLLLL

Six winced as she curled to a defensive position, clutching her stomach while coughing up again, she quivered, "F..... Fo.... Food," she mumbled.

Seven went into a panicked state as he ran to Six and sat down beside her, "Six?! Oh god please Six don't be dying!" He said and Six shook again, "Food...."

"Here! I have the food, just wait," Seven said while taking deep breaths and grabbing the food in his pocket, it was a peice of bread, an apple, and cheese wrapped in cloth.

Six snapped her head up, her mouth salvitating as Seven handed her the food before Six would think he was food. Six snatched the food and gobbled it like it was the end of the world.

Six finished the food in a heartbeat, once she was done she sighed, "Thanks..." she mumbled before lifting her finger to a direction, "The papers.... Over there...." she said before plopping to the floor, Seven catching her before her head hit the cold ground.

Seven looked at where she was pointing at a while ago and saw scattered papers. He went on and picked them up, inserting it into his pocket before picking Six up bridal style and walking back to the corner.

He walked as fast as he can while carrying Six, "Guys!" Seven called and Twenty-Three peeked out the corner. Her face became surprised and serious as she stood up, "What happened?!"

Mono then went out too, "What the- What happened to Six?!"

Seven avoided their questions and gently placed Six down on the floor, he brought out the papers Six collected and made a small fire with the lighter to make Six warm.

"Seven, what the hell happened to Six?" Mono asked grimly, Seven stood up and faced him, "Six fainted when I found her," Seven explained.

Twenty-Three went beside Six and fixed her resting place to make it just at least a little bit comfortable, then she looked at Seven, "What do you mean she fainted?"

"She was hungry, and she fainted," Seven explained, Mono raised his hand in a 'time out' position, "She was hungry? How could that-"

"Well, Six has extreme hunger issues, when she doesn't eat, she'll lose control over herself until her hunger is replenished," Seven explained and the other two's expression turned to shock.

"Why didn't you told us sooner Seven?!" Mono exclaimed, but not too loudly to wake Six up.

Seven winced a bit when Mono raised his voice, "Six wouldn't want me talking about it... It was her call to tell you two about her hunger issues," he explained.

Twenty-Three blinked a bit then sighed, looking down on Six's curled up sleeping state, "Okay, I understand..."

"But why would she get that hunger issues while she was out? She must've felt she was getting hungry before she wandered around and would've told you about it," Mono wondered.

Seven sighed while scratching the back of his head cluelessly, "I don't know too, I'll just ask her when she wakes up," he said.

==================

.: Six's P.o.V. :.

Six felt cold, she looked around and saw it was also dark. She lighted her lighter for a little bit of light, yet she saw nothing in the endless dark void.

Six wandered, she felt her feet platter in the ground and she looked down to see it was a metal floor with a bit of water puddles.

She tried to look at her surroundings again, yet found nothing. Not even a wall, a crate, a vent, a pole, nothing. Shivering from the cold she continued on.

A giggle.

Six stopped her tracks when she heard a giggle, she directed her lighter to the place where the sound could possibly could've been at and she jolted when she was face to face with a grinning Shadow Six.

You can also see me in dreams now, Six, she said in a ghastly voice while stepping closer to the light. Six stepped back, "What do you want, Shadow Six?"

Shadow Six shrugged, I just wanted to try if you'll be able to see me in dreams now, it's going spiffly. You saw me in person, since you were at the brink of dying. But now, my plan could possibly work.

Six's eyebrows knotted, "What plan are you talking about?"

Shadow Six giggled, You'll see, Six. Soon.

The void around Six became hazier as if a fog was rolling in, she looked at Shadow Six again to see she was still grinning yet the fog was engulfing her.

Keep on going til you reach the Office, and we'll meet again.

A loud low roar was heard before the fog fully engulfed the world around Six.

Six gasped awake as she sat upstraight. That sudden movement made her head spin just a little bit. She looked around to see the others circling around a fire, and it's glow and heat warmed Six too.

Her head continued to thob and she held on the temples of her forehead, giving it massaging circles to ease the pain away.

"Six!" Seven said as he turned to her direction and smiled, Six blinked and before she knew it she was caught in his embrace, "Thank God, you're okay!"

Six hugged back, "Yeah, just had a horrible hunger strike and was almost in the brink of dying," she said. Seven let go and looked at her in the eyes, "Uh, by the way... They know already," Seven said and Six tilted her head, "About what?"

"About your 'hunger issues', Six," Mono replied folding his arms and Six's mouth fell open, "Oh god... Sorry I didn't tell you guys sooner, I-I wanted to, but I couldn't find the right time," Six said as her two friends looked at her.

Twenty-Three smiled, "Hey Six, you don't need to feel guilty of not telling us. I may not have hunger issues, but I understand," she said and Six sighed, remembering Twenty-Three did have her own issue.

"Yeah, so Mono can you stop chiding me? After all you hid Twenty-Three's secret," Seven asked while turning to the paperbag head boy, who sighed and lowered his folded arms, "Fine."

Twenty-Three rolled her eyes and pulled out bread, "Wanna eat, Six?" She asked and Six nodded, "Sure, I'll need some energy before we do this mission," she said and Twenty-Three hummed while handing over the bread.

The four ate before standing up, Mono doused the fire and - now that they all know about Six's hunger issues - Seven packed up some food in his pocket, so did Twenty-Three and Mono just in case they'll get separated.

"You guys don't need to do this, I can carry my own food," Six asked but Twenty-Three shook her head, "Well, will you grab to the food or will walk around looking for food?"

Six pursed her mouth, "I don't know, but I'll carry food," she said and grabbed the last food, wrapped it in a cloth and shoved it in her pocket.

"Now if you ever get hungry, it'll be a shock you're still hungry," Mono said and Six rolled her eyes, "Yeah, that'll be ironic."

And with that, they left their camping site and walked on to the halls.

I notice that I'm almost near the end.

Dry mouth.

Stomach churns.

Everything burns.

Sad liqour.

Mad conqour.

Scared of fear.

Perhaps.
