Pun intended?

Yipeee!

.: Six's P.o.V. :.

"Twenty-Three!" Six wailed while the top hat masked man picked Twenty-Three's limp body up. Seven held Six back before she could run and do the stupidest thing ever.

The top hat man looked down on the three, "Don't fear, little ones," he said, that low voice rumbling through the halls, "I only came for my Songbird."

"Give her back!" Six shouted but the top hat man turned, walking away and ignoring them. He kept walking until he was long gone.

I can't loose another friend! Six thought while tears streamed down her face, she stumbled and Seven once again side-hugged her.

Mono knelt down Six, "Don't worry Six. The Joker won't kill Twenty-Three," he said.

Seven looked at Mono indecorously, "The Joker? That's what he's called?"

Mono rolled his eyes, "Yes he is."

"We have to get her back," Six whimpered, "We can't go on without Twenty-Three... That Joker is gonna regret messing with us."

Seven pursed his lips and nodded, "Yeah," then he turned to Mono, "You know where he's at?"

Mono nodded, "Yeah, but I'm thinking it's very far away..."

Six wiped her tears as she stood up, her hands clutching into fists, "I don't care, let's go and save Twenty-Three."

Mono nodded, "Okay then. Let's just follow the Joker, maybe he's still around."

Seven raised an eyebrow, "Is that a good thing to do?"

"Better than nothing," Mono said and Six nodded.

Seven sighed, "Okay, let's go save Twenty-Three. It's becoming boring every minute without her," he joked and they chuckled dryly.

And off they went to where the Joker lumbered off to.

==================

They found the Joker walking in a room, gladly, it wasn't the room Mono entered before. That room was so flippin far away. Six looked up the double doors and saw it had a sign.

Theatre Room.

Seven pushed the door open and they sneaked in. Six gasped.

The room looked like the inside of a circus tent. The circle patch with sand for the preformers to stand, the metal benches circling around that patch, and the walls and ceiling were with red and white stripes.

Different monsters lumbered around fixing the stage, once they saw the Joker, they bowed.

"Nanny!" The Joker called and a deformed old woman with drooping skin and a humback that was covered under a black cloak entered from one of the entrances, "Yes sir?"

"I found Songbird. Now that she's back, we can continue the show. Go and fix her up," The Joker said and handed Twenty-Three to the old woman, "She's full of dirt and grime. Not a thing a lady like herself should have," The Joker wrinkled his nose in disgust even if no one could see it.

The Nanny nodded, "Right away sir," she said while carrying Twenty-Three back to where she entered.

Mono shook his head, "That man is crazy," he whispered.

"Hurry, let's go before we loose her!" Six whispered and they ran over the bars of the benches. Six saw the Nanny enter and they followed.

They continued to sneak behind the Nanny until she reached a door and opened it. The three zipped past before the Nanny could close it and hid under the nearby closet.

Six looked around the new room, it was a bedroom. The large bed was in the center while a vanity desk stood at it's left. There was a wardrobe and a clothes rack filled with small clothes fit for Twenty-Three.

The Nanny took off Twenty-Three's cloak and hung it on the clothes rack then gently placed Twenty-Three on the bed. She then walked off to the other room, which Six was sure was the bathroom.

The three waited unil the bathroom door closed before they creeped out, Six hopped onto the big bed and saw Twenty-Three's hair was around the place and her bangs showed her closed eyes. Twenty-Three was still limp like a doll.

Wait no, scratch that. She looked like a doll. Her body had joints like those of puppets, and when Six poked Twenty-Three, it was cold and hard, like plastic.

Six stared at Twenty-Three with horror, "What did he do to you?" She whispered even if Twenty-Three won't answer.

There was footsteps on the bedroom door and Six hopped down and hid under the end table before she got caught. The door opened and it was the Joker. He walked in and sat on the side of Twenty-Three's bed.

"Running away like that was childish of you to do Songbird," the Joker scolded, turning his face to the resting Twenty-Three, "I already... tied you to this place and it will be impossible to escape, but you did."

"But now, you shall wake. But you won't have your freedom, that other child whill take over," the Joker said while raising his hand, "The one I favor," he said and Twenty-Three sat straight but her eyes were still closed and the doll like body didn't go away.

"Good morning Songbird, Nan is tending your bath already," the Joker said and Twenty-Three lowered her head, like she can't talk.

"You better follow our orders okay? Never run away again," the Joker said and Twenty-Three nodded, but her face was contorted with pain.

"I know you feel sorry about that, and I forgive you. Now excuse me," the Joker said while standing up and walking out the bedroom.

The bathroom door opened and the Nanny went out, "Songbird, time for your bath."

Twenty-Three nodded and hopped down, following the Nanny with no resistance.

Once the door closed, Six crawled out from table, she frowned, "That Joker is a delusional jerk," she stated as the two boys sneaked out their hiding spot.

"No kidding," Mono sighed.

"So what do we do now? Grab Twenty-Three and run as far as possible?" Seven asked and Six shook her head, "No, if we get her now that... what's with her anyways?"

Mono looked at the bathroom door and to Six, "Twenty-Three told me about her nightmare world. Where she was the captive of this Circus and the Joker cursed her into a half-doll body so he can control her."

Six's eyebrows knitted, "So then even if we grab Twenty-Three now, she's not free from the curse she's in... How come she never told us about that?"

"She wanted to, but obviously it was her call," Mono defended.

Six sighed, "Fine, I wouldn't wonder about that anymore. I would do that too if I had a curse in me," which low key, Six did.

Author: yOUR HuNgEr.

Author: *ahem* sorry bout that.

Seven scratched the back of his head, "So until Twenty-Three is in full control of herself, we can't really escape here," Seven summed up and Six nodded, then she perked up.

"What if we stopped the Joker? Maybe if we stop him we can lift Twenty-Three's curse," Six said and the two boys looked at each other before looking at Six, "Uh how?" Seven asked.

"Knocking him out? Or killing him?" Six said and Mono choked,"When did you thought of that?"

"Why? If we stop him maybe Twenty-Three's curse would be lifted," Six stated.

"Okay, let's discuss this idea first. That Joker guy has magic powers and has all of those monsters that he can order to kill us!" Seven stated.

"And Twenty-Three could also turn her back against us since the Joker controls her," Mono pointed out.

Six sighed, "Fine, seems like majority wins here. What should we do now then?"

The bathroom door opened, and the three instantly hid under the table. The Nanny walked out with Twenty-Three on her palm. Twenty-Three was wearing a brand new dress that was also white and had a gold belt, the skirt twinkled with golden stars like sparkles.

The Nanny put Twenty-Three down on the vanity desk and combed her hair, untangling all the tangles of her raven hair. The Nanny opened a shelf and clipped the star clip on Twenty-Three's hair.

The Nanny smiled once she was done and she gazed upon Twenty-Three, "Beautiful like always," she said and another knock came to the door. The Nanny stood up and headed for the door.

She opened it and a stout monster stood, "What?"

"Practice," the stout monster said and the Nanny nodded, "Right, Songbird come here!"

Twenty-Three stared at her reflection even if she can't really see it and stood up emotionless. She then hopped down the vanity desk with grace and walked to the door. The stout monster grinned at her.

"Songbird," they rumbled happily, "Let's start our practice shall we?" They asked while reaching out thier hand and Twenty-Three took it, they walked out the room and the Nanny followed behind, closing the door behind her.

"Let's just go get Twenty-Three's stuff and get out of this room," Six said and the two boys nodded, "Sure," Mono said.

They crawled out and went around finding the mint green cloak, which was actually easy since it hung on the end of the clothes rack.

"We hoist you up again?" Seven asked and Six nodded, "You know it."

The two boys stood side by side and helped Six up. Six held her hand out and reached for the cloak. She manage to take it off the hook and an oil lamp hit the top of her head.

"Ack!" Six exclaimed while falling and the oil lamp beside her. Seven looked down on Six, "Are you okay?" He asked while holding out his hand.

"Ya think?" Six muttered while accepting his hand and standing up. Mono caught the cloak and folded it neatly as he can and he inserted it in his trenchcoat, "I have the cloak already, let's go."

The two nodded and ran for the door. Six hopped and held the handle, and the door opened slightly. They sneaked out the ajar door and rushed out the hallway.

They stopped thier tracks seeing countless of doors in the hallway.

Oh boy, Six gulped, looking around which door would be the right one, this complicates things...

So I decided to stop there.

Will they save Twenty-Three?

Or will Joker find them and turn them into dolls?

Or would Joker's favored child (Doll Twenty-Three) will kill them off?

Or would that shadow wind dude will show up and mess things up a bit?

I know I'm evil, but I'm not gonna be THAT evil and will hurt their feelings until it is crushed to the ground. I care for them, they are my precious little bAbEs.
