"WE GOT a big problem,"

Scott instantly frowned, "What?"

Christina turned in concern, following Scott. "Is it Luis?"

Scott nodded before switching it to speakerphone. "What's going on Luis?"

"You forgot the motion sensors on the back of the building," Luis informed, causing Christina to lift her eyebrows. "And they're on the proposal, and Karapetyan asked for them specifically."

Scott and Christina glanced at each other. "Uh, yeah, look, i-it's been a little crazy. Look, maybe I can stop by and take a look at it."

"No, no, no, no, no..." Luis hissed at them. "The meeting's first thing in the morning. You gotta come right now and fix it!"

"I can't. I wish I could, but I can't leave."

"You know what? I'm coming to you." Christina's eyes widened. They could hear Luis moving papers on the other end. "I'll just bring the plans. They're on the laptop. And you can fix them there. Just tell me where you are."

"It's complicated," Scott whispered nervously.

"What do you mean it's complicated?"

"As in we're hiding in the woods," Christina piped in, leaning down towards the phone.

"Christina? You're with Scott? Where are you guys?"

The two adults shared another look.

"SYSTEM'S IN the green," Hope glanced at her father, starting up the tunnel.

"Priming the coils," Hank responded, pressing multiple buttons on their panel. The machine whirred to life.

Scott stood by the glass, watching silently.

"Full charge." Hope glanced at Scott. "As soon as the tunnel's open, let us know if you get anything that could be apart of her message."

"Okay, here it goes," Hank slowly lifted a handle, activating the tunnel. They watched the prongs stick out before slowly rotating. As they picked up speed, Hank and Hope smiled.

"We did it," Hope chuckled, grabbing Hank's shoulder. Christina smiled to herself, intertwining her fingers. She felt a hand on her shoulder and turned to see Hank give her a gracious smile as well.

After a moment, Hank nodded at Scott. "Got anything?"

Scott only shook his head with a lame smile. "Nothing."

Hope's smile started to falter, which made Christina anxious in return.

"Well, just give it a minute, cause it could—" Hank paused himself when the machine slowed down to a chilling stop.

Hope rushed to the controls, trying everything she could to start it back up again. Scott glanced over his shoulder, confused by everything. "What's happening?"

"It's shutting down!" Hope snapped in frustration.

Chris peered over her shoulder. "Is it the vectors?"

"We've gone over them a million times! I know they're right!" Hank curtly replied back.

"Apparently not," Chris rolled her eyes, not caring if the man heard her or not.

"Well what else could it be?" Hope questioned, moving by her father's side.

"I don't know!"

Scott's head slowly tilted to the side, before he quickly shook it and rushed the controls as well?

"Scott? What are you doing?" Hope asked when she noticed. Scott ignored her, quickly typing away on the machine's main computer.

"Scott, don't touch that!" Hank snapped, rounding his right side.

Scott shook his head, shrugging off Hank's hand. "I don't know how much time I have. I need to fix the algorithm."

Christina instantly noticed his voice having a lighter touch to it, which made her eyebrows furrow.

"Trust me, after thirty years down here, I've thought about it a lot."

Hank's face washed over with hesitance. "Janet?"

Scott—Janet, more appropriately—smiled at him, running a hand down his cheek. "Hi, honey."

Christina's eyebrows suddenly shot up in shock, not really knowing what to say or how to react.

Scott turned to look at Hope, doing the same to her. "Oh, Jelly Bean."

"Mom?" Hope whispered with a smile.

Scott then glanced at Christina last, flashing her a warm smile. "And Chrissy. Oh, my, you've grown to be such a beautiful woman."

"Thank...you? I'm not sure if I'm talking to Scott or Mrs. Pymn. I do apologize." Christina rubbed her arm sheepishly.

Scott shook his head, waving it off. "I understand, sweetheart." He looked between all three before focusing on the computer again. "It's not the reunion I'd imagined. It's so rushed. You three have done such great work!"

His fingers typed rapidly against the keyboard. "Just needs a little..." hitting one final key, he stepped back. "Nudge."

The machine started up again in an instant, causing the three to gasp. Scott gave a quick squeeze to Hank and Hope's shoulders before rushing into the lab, all three in suit.

"Janet, how is this possible?" Hank called out, climbing up a small platform to another computer controlling the portal.

"So, it is Mrs. Pymn then?" Christina questioned aloud, although no one answered her. She caught eye with Scott, who nodded back proudly.

"It wasn't a message you put in Scott's head, it was an antenna." Hope spoke to her mother, finally connecting the pieces.

Scott turned his smile to her next. "Clever girl. I'm so proud of you."

Hope breathed out with a wide grin, tears stinging her eyes.

"Honey—" Christina instantly smirked at Hank, still finding the interactions off. "Tell us where you are. Tell us how to find you."

"The probability fields are too complex. That's why I needed to talk to you. You need to follow my voice."

"Of course!"

"Like tracing a call back to it's source!"

The panels above the four lit up, starting to twitch and shift about with energy.

"I'm tracking your signal using subatomic frequencies, between point two and point nine."

Hope continued to smile, grabbing and squeezing her hand in anticipation. They both stared up at the moving panels, awaiting Janet's location.

"I'd narrow it to four and six." Scott counteracted, pointing to Hank's own computer screen.

"It's too tight, we could miss you."

Scott only chuckled. "Look at us, squabbling again."

"Fine." Hank chortled to himself. "Alright, between three and seven."

"Our first fight in decades, and it's over like that." Scott added to his last comment, stepping away the controls. He grabbed Hank's hand tightly, laughing quietly between themselves.

Christina smirked in a kind manner, finding it oddly sweet how Janet could reconnect with her husband through another person.

When all the panels stopped and darkened, it left a single digital pulse with coordinations underneath.

"Bullseye."

"Source lock." Hope gasped.

"It's you!"

"You have to meet me at these exact coordinates. In the wasteland, beyond the quantum void."

"Beyond the void..." Christina muttered to herself, taking mental note.

Scott shifted his focus to her; hearing her. "It's very dangerous, especially on the human mind. So be careful."

"I will, Mrs. Pymn." Christina smiles proudly when he ran a gentle hand down her cheek.

"Time and space work very differently down here." He now spoke to everyone, "You have two hours. After that, the probability fields will shift, and it'll be another century before they align like this again."

"We'll find you." Hank confirmed, squeezing Scott's hand again.

Scott turned to Hope, giving her a kiss on the forehead before doing the same to Christina. "I know you will."

He pulled back, and his face suddenly shifted back to normal. "Nope. Nothing. I got nothing. No sign of Janet. Perfect."

Hank shot Scott a wild look, watching at he noticed he change in location "How'd we get up here?"

After a moment, he lifted to hand to show them still clasped. He cocked a suspicious eyebrow, to which Hank scoffed and walked away.
