Planet: Outer regions of the Milky Way Galaxy

Location: Unknown

Morgan had ordered guards to bring the king to his quarters, which were located beneath the ship's bridge.

"Ah, good, you are here." He sat on a chair-like throne as the king was pushed through the opened door.

The king raised his brows, he knew there was a reason why Morgan had summoned him. "What do you want?"

"Sit with me." Morgan took a glass and poured black liquid into it, "Have a drink with me."

"I do not trust you."

Morgan laughed. "My dear king, you think I would poison you?" The look on the king's face gave Morgan his answer. "Why, I would do no such thing, you are very important to me. I would not risk losing the most precious piece to the puzzle."

"Then what do you want?" It was simple, Morgan could not be trusted.

"Drink with me." Morgan poured a second glass and held it out to the king. "Come now, it will not kill you."

The king curiously took the glass. Its substances stunk, a smell like that of death lingered in the air. "I will not drink—"

"Oh, I am sorry, you see," Morgan clicked his fingers and two guards grabbed the king; holding him in place, "I was not asking." And with that, the king's mouth was forced open and the black liquid was poured into his mouth.

The king's eyes widened, the taste was disgusting, he wanted to vomit. But when his eyes captured Morgan, the Zutorian smirked.

"Now, you will do as I say. Is that clear, Your Highness?"

The king had no control over his body, his head nodded and he spoke against his will, "Yes, crystal clear, sir."

Morgan grinned, his jaw opened and his claws scratched the side of the king's face. "Oh, I am going to have some fun with you, your daughter will not know what to do."

This made the king worry, was this some kind of trick? Some Zutorian mind control potion?

"You will betray your own daughter and I am going to have fun watching you destroy her. You see, I am no different from you."

Planet: Earth

Location: Forbidden Forest

I felt horrible. It was a pain I have not felt for a long time. I felt like I had left a part of me behind like half of my heart was missing.

That half was James.

We had become connected in such a way I could not explain. I had felt him inside of me moving so gently, treating me as if I was the most important thing in the galaxy. I loved it, James made me feel things I have never felt before.

And now, now I walk through this forest alone. I had no one to blame but myself, it was a mistake to do this on my own. I tried to follow them but even though I was trained as a hatchling to track and survive, it was useless. I am not on Everotorn, therefore everything was different and my training was worthless.

I leaned on a tree, my shoulder resting on its trunk as my eyes scanned the surrounding area. Trees, trees, trees, nothing but trees.

"Useless!" I yelled. My hand formed into a fist and I slammed it into the tree splitting its wood and causing it to splinter. I repeated the action until my glowing blood broke free from the torn skin. "I am useless."

I placed my other hand and forehead against the tree, my eyes watched as droplets of my energy escaping my injured hand. "Mother," I cried. "Mother, why did you have to leave? I miss you, I need you." My blood had created a small glowing puddle on the ground. "I am so alone."

A hand suddenly grabs my shoulder, I turn around bringing my injured hand up in a fist, ready to punch them.

"Woah!" His voice stops me and he grabs my injured hand. "Jewels."

"James." I threw myself at him, James opened his arms and embraced me. "You looked for me?"

I felt him kiss the top of my head, his arms wrapped tightly around me. "Of course, I did. I love you, Jewels."

Shifting my head so that I was looking into his eyes, I bring my good hand to his face and run my fingers along his lips. "James," I breathed out. "James I ... l—"

"You found her." Tom appeared from behind a tree with Nathan and Lucy. He looked at my hand then at James. "What happened to your hand, girl?"

"I—"

"Don't worry, Doc. I'll wrap it up." James pulled out a white bandage from his pocket. "You okay, babe?" he asked scanning my injured hand.

I nodded, bitting my bottom lip. James smiled and gently wrapped my hand before bringing it to his lips and kissed it. "Thank you."

"Don't thank me, Jewels. I'm your boyfriend, it's my duty to look after you." He leant forward and our lips locked together.

"Bloody hell, do you have to make-out? I thought you were in a hurry?" Nathan's voice caused us to pull away.

James briefly kissed me one more time, ignoring Nathan, as he said, "Don't you ever pull this stunt again. I mean it, Jewels, we do this together."

"I am—"

"It's fine, love, no need to apologise." He took my good hand in his, wrapping his fingers around mine. "Nathan, you said you know a secret way in?"

"I do." Nathan nodded, looking at Lucy. "I believe you do too?"

"Of course, but it's risky." She ran a hand through her long brunette hair. "Derek isn't an idiot, he knows we're coming for them."

"It's possible it's a trap," Tom added.

James pulled me to his side. "Then we use this to his advantage, we set our own trap. He wants Jewels, yeah?"

I tilted my head at James.

"Then that's what we'll give him."
