Current time ...
Planet: Near Sulturious
Location: Gas Belts of Sulturious
The queen had been separated from her husband, she stood near a small oval window and was looking out through the glass.
"Such beauty," she mumbled to herself as the first rings of the belt which circled the planet Sulturious came into view, bringing with them a purple and gold glow. She stood in front of the window pressing her hands against the glass, but something caught her attention.
Wrapped around the queen's wrist was an object she had forgotten about. "I am so stupid." She tapped on the tiny blue object and it detached from her wrist and fell to the ground. "Code 09, 89, 76, 11, 90." Seconds later the object grew from just a small bracelet to a blue ball.
"I must be fast." Bending over she placed a finger on the ball and it began to float in the air in front of her. "My dearest daughter, I hope you are well and have found safety in the stars," holding back her tears she continued, "by the time this reaches you, I fear it may be too late ..." She took a brief pause, this was killing her inside, she knew it was the only way to warn Jewels, but in doing so they would surely kill her.
"My daughter, Everotorn is no more, it has fallen. Our people fled the planet they once called home." A noise outside the black door caused the queen to rush her next words, "They are coming for you, they will not stop until they have found you. I have always told you to control your power, but Jewels, I was so wrong, so very wrong." Beeping outside signalled someone was about to enter. "Jewels, do not try to control it, let it control you. Be warned! The Zutorian's are coming for you, they will bring destruction! You must be ready... or—"
"Stop her!"
The queen quickly stretched out her hand to the floating blue ball. "Believe in yourself, my daughter. I love you." A stray tear rolled down her cheek as she watched the ball fade away into nothing.
A hand grasped around the queen's thick blonde hair yanking her backwards. "That was the wrong move, Your Highness. Call it back."
"Never," she spat, turning around so fast Morgan did not have enough time to defend himself. The queen's foot connected with his legs, sending him tumbling to the floor. "You will never find her but if you do, she will kill you."
Morgan's eyes widened when he saw the queen had taken a dagger from his boot and held it above his jugular. Rivers of green blood escaped his flesh where the dagger pierced, sending a sickening smell into the air.
The queen almost vomited, she hated the smell of Zutorian's blood.
Morgan used this to his advantage and quickly gained the upper hand, leaning upwards he connected his forehead against hers. She groaned and stumbled backwards, the dagger falling from her hands as she reached up to rub her aching forehead.
"You will regret this," Morgan roared, jumping to his feet in a matter of seconds. "Take her to the torture chamber," he instructed two guards that had entered after hearing the noises from the previous fight. "We will find out where the energy source is, one way or another." A devilish smirk appeared on his face, using his claw he brought it to his neck and wiped away his blood then opened his jaw and inserted his claw into his mouth.

"Jewels, do not try to control it, let it control you. Be warned! The Zutorian's are coming for you, they will bring destruction! You must be ready ... or—"
"Stop her!"
My mother's image disappeared and the messaging orb fell to the floor as did I. Kneeling, I reached my hand out and picked up the orb. Tears formed in my eyes and rolled over the rims, falling down my cheeks like waterfalls. I felt my bottom lip begin to tremble, it had been so long since I had heard her voice, and to hear it filled with so much hurt and worry was painful.
I did not know what she meant by letting my power control me, even my father firmly said it would be dangerous to let it overcome me. It matters not because they are coming for me and they will destroy this world. Humans would be merely an insect to them, this world was going to fall and there was no one else to blame.
"It is my fault." My hand wrapped around the orb, I could feel his presence behind me. "James, they are coming."
"Jewels." He placed his hands under my arms and pulled me to my feet then turned me around to face him. James frowned upon seeing my face. "Don't cry." He put his thumb under my eyes and ran it along my cheek removing the tears. "It'll be okay."
I shook my head taking a step away from him, a feeling of guilt washes over my body. "I have put you all in danger," I told him because it was the truth. He opened his mouth to speak but I quickly said, "You think Borums are bad, they are nothing compared to the Zutorian's." My head hung low, I have brought this on them.
"You'd be surprised what we can do." He placed his hand beneath my chin and lifted it up so that I was looking at him. "Humans have come a long way, Jewels. We survived one alien invasion, we can do it again."
He took a step closer, closing the gap between us. I watched as his eyes roam my face before falling on my lips.
"How? How can you possibly—"
James placed a finger over my lips. "Shh," he whispered. As he removed his finger he leant his head towards mine. With the door to his hut locked, there was nothing to interrupt this moment. He knew this, as did I.
He was so close to me, I could feel his lips brush over mine before he fully pressed them against me. One of his hands went to my cheek while the other landed on my hips, pulling me flush up against him. I tried to match the movements of his lips by moving them in sync.
His lips felt so soft and moist, the way they moved with mine was like magic and it set off a fire within me. At first I was afraid that it was the energy flowing to the surface of my skin, but it was not, this was different.
Hesitating at first, I wrapped my hands around his neck, allowing them to move at their own will. But I jumped and pulled away when I felt his tongue slip into my mouth, heat rushing to my cheeks. "What was that?"
"I'm sorry, I—ugh—it's called a french kiss," he tried to explain it, watching me closely. "If you don't like it, I won't do it again."
"I am the one who should be sorry, I have not done anything like this before." I locked gazes with him, he held an amusement expression on his face. "You are the first male I have eaten lips—I mean kissed."
James chuckles and stroked my cheek with his hand, causing me to lean into his touch. "You're growing on me, Jewels." Removing his hand from my cheek, he took a step backwards, a frown formed on his perfect face.
"Growing on you? Is that a bad thing?"
"Yes," he responded, pinching the bridge of his nose. "I'm not a good person, Jewels. There are things I've done, things I'm not proud of."
"What are these things you speak of? Surely they are not bad as mine—"
I was cut off by banging on James's door followed by Lucy's voice yelling, "We're ready to leave! Hurry the hell up in there!"
James sighed and walks passed me, I turned as he reached for the door and opens it. "Where's Mick? Isn't he coming?"
"Nope, I am." When her eyes land on me, she smirks. "Typical James, can't keep it in your pants for five minutes, huh? Always looking for fresh meat to fuc—"
"What's the hold-up?" It was now Jeremy's voice, seconds later he emerged behind Lucy. "James, you two need to get going."
"Alright, give me a few minutes. I have to talk to Jewels," he said closing his door and then turned around to face me.
"Quickie time!" Lucy's laugh managed to float through the door.
James approached me and placed both his hands on my cheeks. "Jewels, I'll be back in two weeks."
I suddenly felt disappointed, he had heard my mother's message and yet he does not want me to come.
"You have to stay here, Jeremy will look after you." He leant in, connecting our lips but the second they touch Lucy bangs on the door. "I'm coming!" James pulled away from me then opens the door, stepping out.
Jeremy appeared soon after. "You can stay with me until they get back." He smiled reaching his hand out for me to take, but when I do not take it a frown replaces his smile. "Jewels, whatever is going on between you and James, you have to end it or he'll hurt you."
"What do you mean? Hurt me?"
"That's what he does, Jewels. He's not what you think he is." I could hear it in his voice, Jeremy spoke the truth. "James might be my cousin and might be in charge of our camp just as I am, but he's not good for you."
I wanted to know why so I found myself asking, "Tell me, tell me why do you say such things?"
Taking in a large amount of air James stared at me intensely, his eyes never leaving mine.
"James will get close to you then like all the women before you, he will take you against your will."
