Ladybug arrives at the battle quickly.

Alya was already off to the side, hiding behind a bush and filming everything.

Her black masked partner was there as well.

The akuma appeared to be made out of paper, and had a giant pencil in their hand.

When Chat sees the polka dotted hero, he jumps over to her.

He bows in a funny manner, "My lady. How nice to finally see you again. I missed you."

He kisses her hand the same way he always does.

Ladybug couldn't help but blush a little and lightly pushes him away. "No time for flirting. We need to take down the akuma first."

"Alright. The akuma is called 'The Cheater' And seems to be mad at being cheated off of and getting the blame. The akuma is in that big pencil of his."

With a determined smile Ladybug turns to her partner. "That sounds easy enough. Are you ready?"

Chat grins in return, "With you my lady, always."

The pair easily takes down the akuma in a couple of minutes.

"Pound it."

Ladybug couldn't help but smile when she and her partner did their fist bump. It's been so long.

The black cat superhero turns to her, "Can you spare a few minutes to talk?"

Her miraculous beeped once.

"As much as I want to, I really need to go before I turn back."

"Please Ladybug I really need to talk to you." Chat pleaded desperately.

Before she could get a chance to answer, Alya runs over to the two superhero's.

"Hey ladybug and Chat Noir! Can I get a quick interview?"

Her miraculous beeped again, warning that she'll turn back in a minute or two.

With an apologetic look towards Chat, Marinette swung off.

Adrien stares off as the love of his life swings away, into the distance.

He sighs.

Alya shoves her phone near his face, "So, how does it feel being back? Where did you go?"

He was not in the mood for an interview, especially with the things he had to tell ladybug about.

"I don't think this is-."

The reporters face falls, "Oh...I'm sorry."

"No it's fine, I can answer a couple of questions." Chat says quickly, seeing Alya getting upset. Alya was his friend, and his best friends girlfriend. So he couldn't just leave her like that.

Her face lights up like a lightbulb. "Yay, thanks! So where did you go?"

"I went on a vacation with my family." Chat lied.

"Then why didn't you tell ladybug about it? She seemed to be looking for you in the past weeks."

Luckily due to his quick thinking, he was able to think of another lie. "Well, the vacation was a surprise. So I didn't get the time to tell her."

Before she could ask him anymore questions, his miraculous finally beeped.

With a sigh of relief and an apology to Alya, he was able to go find Ladybug.

He hoped he could still catch up to her.

After running around for a while, he came close to a familiar looking bakery.

From the corner of his eye, he spot a flash of red and raced towards it.

Ladybug was standing on Marinettes roof.

Pushing away the curiosity of why Ladybug would be on Marinettes roof, he leaped to it.

A bright pink light flashes.

And he could only watch in shock as Marinette replaced where Ladybug once stood.
