I was woken up by a very feminine scream that could probably be heard from all around Hogwarts. I opened my eyes and sat up quickly, my still purple hair going in my face. I looked around.

"What the bloody hell was that?!" Alice exclaimed.

"You know it's bad when Alice starts swearing." Marlene said and yawned. Alice rolled her eyes.

"Wait so it wasn't any of you guys?" Lily asked. We shook our heads. There was another scream. Lily jumped up and ran out. We followed.

Lily stopped in front of the 5th year boys dormitory or the Marauders dormitory. I grinned, knowing who it was.

"No - No - No!! My hair!!" We heard from the other side. "My beautiful hair!!!" Marlene opened the door.

"What is all that-" She stopped and we walked in. The Marauders and Frank Longbottom turned to us. James' mouth was hanging open with shock. Remus eyes were wide and he looked at me as if asking me a question. Peter looked confused. And Sirius seemed to be in distress and had a look of horror on his face. He seemed to be covering his hair, though he was doing a terrible job and it was easy to see what's wrong. I smirked and held back a laugh, seeing his ridiculous pink hair

"My hair is ruined!!" Sirius exclaimed, almost pulling his hair. "My precious hair!!" The girls and Frank started laughing and you could tell that the other Marauders were trying not to laugh.

"Oh it worked!!" I said excitedly. Sirius stared at me. After realising what I had said he glared at me.

"Y-you did this to my hair?!" He charged at me but Remus, James, Frank and Peter held him back with much difficulty.

"Well you were serious about the prank war then." Peter stated.

"Of course I was serious!"

"No I'm Sirius!!" Sirius yelled. "And why am I the first victim!? Why me?!" I shrugged and grinned. He glared at me again and tried to charge at me again.

"Padfoot - calm - down!" Remus shouted, pulling Sirius away from me.

Sirius growled and kicked Remus. Remus yelled in surprise and let go of him. And before anyone knew it, Sirius had me pinned against the wall. The others stared at him in surprise. I tried to move out of the way but he held my arm, making me stay where I was.

"Oh look an angry Sirius Black. That's new." I stated. He glared angrily at me.

"Y-you-" He clenched his fists.

"Sirius!!" James yelled. "You can't hit a girl! No matter how annoying she is."

"Thank you." I said.

"That wasn't meant to be a complement."

"I know." He sighed with defeat and I grinned slightly.

"Change it back!!" Sirius shouted. "Change it back now!!"

"I don't want to. Now let go of me." He tightened his grip. I gasped, a wave of fear rushing towards me. I remembered that my father would do the same, yell something about my sister Sophia's death before promptly giving me a beating...

"L-let go of me..." I said with fear in my voice. His eyes widened and he quickly let go. I fell to the ground, trying to calm down. Remus, Lily, Marlene and Alice ran to me.

"Are you okay?" Remus asked. I nodded slowly and sat up. "Sorry, about Sirius-" He placed a hand on my shoulder and I moved away quickly. He looked at me and took his hand away. "Sorry."

"It's fine. I'm fine." I said quickly and stood up. Tears appeared in my eyes and I looked at all of them, before running out of the room.

I ignored all their calls and ran out of the Gryffindor Tower. I sat down on one of the moving staircases and pulled my knees to my chest. A tear ran down my face. Hopefully they don't know... and its just going to happen again. I'm going to go home for Christmas and my father will be there... I'll go back, my mother will be too scared to say anything and I'll be in too much pain to do anything. Memories of what had happened flashed in my mind. I started crying.

"Fall!" I ignored them. "Isabel!!" I sighed and turned around slowly to see James by himself.

"What do you want?" I asked bitterly. He didn't say anything. Slowly, he walked towards me and sat down. We both didn't say anything. James sighed and patted my shoulder gently. I shrugged him off and wiped my eyes.

"A-are you okay?" He asked finally.

"I'm fine. Leave me alone."

"You seem-"

"I'm fine! Why do you care?" I asked and stood up.

"Isabel-"

"Just leave me alone!" I yelled and stormed off.

I ran to the library, hoping he didn't follow me. I walked to the very back and sighed, sitting down and wiping my eyes.

"Lily! Bellatrix still shouldn't have called you a Mud-"

"I know! Now, do you think Isabel is here?" I froze and looked in between the books on the shelves. It was Marlene, Alice and Lily.

"She's normally here anyway." Marlene said as they walked through the shelves. I walked around, making sure they didn't hear me.

"What do you think that was about?" Marlene asked.

"Probably something personal. And Sirius was a bit... over dramatic."Alice added.

"Well it's his hair what do you expect?" Lily asked. "He did go too far."

"I know." Marlene sighed. "I can't find her maybe she's somewhere else." I saw them nod and walk off.

I sighed and walked around the castle. I saw Remus and turned the way.

"Isabel!" I ran off.

"Please don't follow. Please don't follow." I prayed in my head.

"Isabel wait!" I turned around to see Remus running to me.

"Of course he follows..." I mumbled and ran as fast as I could around the castle. I ran into an empty classroom and closed the door quickly. I opened the door a bit, to see Remus stop, look around before walking past. I looked in the classroom and saw a long rope, which gave me an idea for a prank.

I set the prank up. Or trap I might say. Next group of people who walks past will be the unfortunate ones that will hang from the ceiling. I smirked and waited, grasping the remote in my hand. I heard many footsteps and stood up, hoping it was the Marauders. Many people screamed and I knew that it had worked.

"Who did this?!" Someone exclaimed. More footsteps. "You! Marauders! You did this!" Well I guess it wasn't the Marauders then.

"Woah! Prongs how come we didn't think of this?" I heard Sirius ask.

"Don't know Padfoot. What are you doing up there Snivellus?" James said.

"Stop playing games!" The first voice said. "We know you did this-"

I walked around the corner and grinned. A group of Slytherins were hanging by their ankles above the Marauders. There were three boys and one girl. I recognised them as Severus Snape, Lucius Malfoy, Avery and Bellatrix Black, Sirius's cousin. Don't ask how I know that...

"So it was a bunch of Slytherins that were screaming like little girls. That's new." I smirked. They all turned to me. I kept my eyes on the Slytherins, not wanting to see the Marauders.

"You did this?" Malfoy asked.

"Just a small prank or trap. You see it's meant to be for animals but you'll have to do." They glared at me.

"Why would you do this?" Avery questioned. "It's not like you're a Marauder." I frowned.

"I'm not a Marauder. And didn't you hear my announcement a few days ago? And as you can see by Sirius's pink hair." Sirius sighed and huffed, his pink hair blowing out of his face. "The Prank War has begun and the Marauders really need to get a move on." I grinned.

"Let us down!!" Bellatrix shrieked. "And why would you prank my filthy, blood-traitor cousin?" Sirius scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"Aren't you two the nicest cousins? And I heard you called my friend a Mudblood." I glared at her.

"What?!" Sirius, James and Snape exclaimed.

"Fall put her down." James said, glaring at Bellatrix.

"No. She can stay there. They can all stay there. That's what they deserve." I spat.

I turned around to walk off. "Fall wait!" James yelled. I turned to him.

"Don't talk to me. I don't want to talk to any of you. Especially you." I pointed at Sirius, who almost looked guilty. "And one more thing." I pressed the button on the remote and confetti and glitter sprayed on the Slytherins, making them scream again.

"Fall, wait!!" Sirius yelled. I turned around and ran, knowing they were following me. I sighed and turned around furiously, facing all four of them.

"Just. Stop. Maybe you didn't hear me before but I don't want to talk to you. Now leave me alone." I stormed off.

I walked into the Great Hall and to the girls who were sitting at the very end. They looked up at me and smiled softly.

"Hey." Alice offered. I smiled slightly.

"Hey..." I sat down beside Marlene and started putting food on my plate.

"Are you okay?" Lily asked. I nodded slightly and sighed.

"Yeah... I think..." They nodded and sighed. Marlene grabbed my hand gently.

"We're here for you Isabel, if you need anything tell us." Marlene said. I smiled slightly.

"Thanks..." Maybe I should tell them...

Before I could make the decision, the Marauders walked in. They glanced at me before sitting far away from us. I sighed and started eating, grateful that they were over there. After a few minutes, Sirius waved his wand and all of a sudden the food was lifted up. Some people screamed and stared at the floating food. James and Sirius grinned as the food started flying everywhere. Most people screamed and hid under the tables. Food started flying towards people and hitting them. The Slytherins were getting hit with food on their face. The Ravenclaws were getting food in their hair. The Hufflepuffs were eating it. And at least everyone was laughing or screaming. Professor McGonagall stood up and shot the Marauders a look. James and Sirius smiled innocently and the food stopped in mid-air, before dropping to the floor or the nearest thing there. I screamed, something landing on my head.

"Detention Mr Potter and Mr Black!!" Professor McGonagall yelled. James and Sirius shrugged and grinned. "You will clean this place up! Without magic!!" Their grins faded slowly. I snickered slightly. McGonagall looked at me and raised an eyebrow. I stopped.

After the dinner everyone left, except for James and Sirius, who sighed and stayed back.

"Fall!!" James yelled, when I was about to walk out. Marlene, Lily and Alice had already left. I sighed and walked over to him, still keeping a distance.

"What?" I asked bitterly. He sighed and glanced at Sirius, who was cleaning the Hufflepuff table, before looking back at me.

"Are you okay?" I rolled my eyes.

"I'm fine. Who do you care? I thought you hated me." He ran a hand through his hair and sighed.

"I know, I know. I-"

"Well I'm fine. Thanks for pretending to care." I turned on my heel.

"No! Fall listen. I'm just worried-"

"Well don't be! You should probably hurry up and clean this place up. It's a pigsty." I said and stormed off.

I stormed into the dormitories and noticed that Lily, who was doing her homework, was the only one awake. Marlene and Alice must've been tired. I threw my bag at the end of my bed, before lying down, my face in a pillow.

"You okay?" Lily asked, setting her book down.

"I would be better if your boyfriend would stop checking on me." I replied, turning away from her. She frowned and walked over to my bed and sat on the edge of it.

"Boyfriend?"

"Fine. James keeps checking on me. Why would he care?" She placed a hand on my shoulder and surprisingly I didn't tense.

"James checked on you?" She asked softly.

"Yeah! I don't get it! One minute he hates me because I hexed him and the next he's asking if I'm okay!!"

"When did he check on you?"

"This morning, when I stormed out of their dormitory and just then, when he was cleaning the Great Hall..." She frowned.

"He didn't come and check on you this morning."

"Yes he did... he found me on the staircase."

"James told us... that he had detention then he left..." I stayed quiet. "And I caught him walking in the Corridors, Pranking someone five minutes later, I asked how was detention and that it was really quick. He replied with something like, 'yeah it went really quickly' then he asked me out. Where of course I said no." I smiled slightly. "Then I saw him yelling at Sirius... saying something about 'apologising'. An hour later.." I thought for a minute.

"How... odd..." Lily nodded in agreement. "Well except for the asking you out part." She managed a smile, before standing up.

"Yeah, well goodnight Isabel." She walked to her bed, put her stuff away before going to sleep. I nodded and sighed, thinking over and over again what Lily just told me
