I sighed and listened to the Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, Professor Greengrass, go on and on and on about Boggarts. No one was really paying attention. The only people that was, were Remus and Lily. I was trying very hard to. Very very very hard.

"Tomorrow you will all face your boggart." Professor Greengrass told us. I frowned and sighed, already knowing my boggart. "Now do we all remember the incantation that wizards and witches use to repel a boggart?"

"Riddikulus." Everyone said in unison.

"Very good! Now you will need to know this for your OWL exams."

"The OWL's are riddikulus." Sirius whispered to James. James grinned and nodded in reply. I looked over at them and rolled my eyes. I was still trying to figure out what they were hiding and I was sure they were trying to figure out about me.

"Tomorrow you will give me an essay about all the Beasts we have learned." Everyone groaned and started to stand up.

"Professor what beast are we learning about next?" Frank Longbottom asked.

"Werewolves." Some people chattered excitedly. Remus however froze on the spot, colour draining from his face. I frowned at him. "Class dismissed."

"Well this should be easy." James said to the other Marauders and he and Sirius laughed, glancing at Remus. Peter seemed to be the only one that didn't get the joke. Remus glared at them and the Marauders walked out of the classroom.

I walked over to the girls who were still packing their stuff. Lily was talking to Snape and Alice was talking to Frank. Marlene seemed to be staring at the doorway, just where Sirius walked past.

"Hello? Earth to Marlene?" I started. No response. I waved my hand in front of her face. "Hello?! Marlene! Sirius is dating someone!!"

"What?!" She turned to me furiously. I grinned. "Is he actually dating someone...?"

"I don't know. I don't really care either come to think of it..."

"Well I care!"

"I'm sure he's not dating anyone."

"Yeah. Okay. We better go." Marlene glanced at Lily and Alice who were still talking to Snape and Frank.

"Let's just go without them, we're going to be late." I said.

"Why are you so eager to get to Transfiguration?"

"Last class of the day."

Marlene nodded in agreement. "Yeah, let's go."

We walked to the Transfiguration classroom and surprisingly, the Marauders were already there. Alice, Lily and Frank came in after us . I sat beside James, which I realised was a terrible mistake. My eyes widened and I got up.

"Ms Fall, please sit down." Professor McGonagall said, walking to the front.

"Dammit." I said under my breath and sat down, placing my head on the desk.

"Don't you look happy to sit here, Fall." James grinned at me.

"Yes, I'll try to hide my excitement." I rolled my eyes.

"And also Fall. Where did you get those scars from?" I covered my face with my hands and groaned.

"Why do you care?"

"Well, I was just wondering. It looks like you fought a basilisk or something."

"I did not fight a basilisk!"

"And why do always wear long sleeve shirts? Aren't you hot??"

"I am very hot, thank you."

James rolled his eyes. "That's not what I meant. And you're rather sensitive."

"I'm not sensitive!"

"And insecure!"

"I am not insecure..." Am I?

"And why don't you like the topic of family and sibling?"

"Gee I don't know! Why is Remus always sick?! Why does Remus have all those scars!? Why did you have a Mandrake leaf in your mouth for a month?! And why do you care?!" I yelled. He stayed quiet for a moment.

"You're also very nosy." I groaned loudly, making Professor McGonagall look up.

"Ms Fall and Mr Potter, what are you two doing?" She asked. My eyes widened.

"Um... we were j-just.. Uh..." I stuttered.

"Would like to repeat what I just said?"

"Ms Fall and Mr Potter, what are you two doing?" James repeated in a mocking tone. Some people laughed, making him grin. I rolled my eyes.

"Detention Mr Potter."

"Oh deer you're in trouble again!!" Sirius exclaimed loudly. Peter laughed. Remus shook his head with amusement and James glared at them. Some other people laughed as well, though I didn't get what was so funny.

McGonagall shot Sirius and the people who were laughing a look and they all quietened down. She continued with the lesson.

"Glad I didn't get a detention this time." I mumbled to myself.

"But seriously, where did you get those scars?" James asked again. I groaned.

"Can you just let it go?"

"But Prongs is right though." Sirius said, looking at us. "You don't just have scars, you bruises to."

I tugged the end of my sleeves and sighed. "It doesn't matter."

"What happened? Did you fall over or something?" Sirius grinned and James snickered.

"Why would you think-" I stopped, realising what he meant. "SIRIUS!!!"

"Ms Fall! Be quiet! 10 points from Gryffindor!"

"Don't you think you're going a bit insane about the Marauders?" Lily asked, I frowned.

"What's that meant to mean?" We sat in the Great Hall, eating dinner when James and Sirius walked over to us. They sat on either side of me and I rolled my eyes.

"What do you two want?" I asked.

"That's rude." Sirius stated.

"Oh I'm sorry. Hello Sirius and James how are you today?" I asked sweetly, forcing a sweet smile. They narrowed their eyes at me.

"You're creepy." James said.

"Thank you."

"That wasn't meant to be a complement."

"I know."

"Every time. Oi Evans, go out with me?"

"No." Lily narrowed her eyes at him. He sighed.

"Fine. Now Fall, where did you get those-"

"Not telling." I said immediately. They groaned. "Where's Remus and Peter?"

"So that's where you are." We looked up and saw Peter and Remus.

"Hi Peter, Hi Remus." I smiled at them.

"You be polite to them! Wow Fall." James muttered.

"Hello Izzy. Thanks for the book by the way. I forgot to give it to you on the train..." Remus passed me my book. I grabbed it and smiled.

"You welcome. Did you get up to the part where-"

"Anyway." Sirius said loudly, Remus and I glared at him. "Back to the topic. You have scars, so what? But you have bruises as well."

"I do not have bruises."

"Yes you do. You have one bruise on your cheek." My eyes widened and I felt my cheek. It started hurting and I sighed. The bruise was where my father had slapped me many times...

"It's nothing."

"Just tell us what happened." Peter said.

"I don't want to though."

"We're worried." Remus stated. I frowned and looked at them, they nodded.

"Maybe I did fall over."

"Hey! You can't make a pun! I make the puns!" Sirius yelled.

"I can make a pun with my name." I said with amusement. "Thank Merlin I'm not saying 'sirius' and all that."

"Please don't." Alice whispered to me. I nodded.

"I wasn't going to. Now can you four mind your own business."

"Fine, you'll tell us one day." James and Sirius stood up.

"Today's not the day." I stated. "And tomorrow doesn't look to good either." They rolled their eyes and walked off.

"You do have a bruise on your cheek though." Lily said and lowered her voice.

"I know." I sighed. "I need a better way to hide it."

After a very large meal, we headed to our dormitories. I changed into my pyjamas and lay down on my bed.

"Good night guys." I said, my eyes getting heavy.

"Good night Izzy." They replied. I smiled and fell asleep almost immediately.

I was in a car. At the back with a small girl. She was twelve years old, she had blonde hair like Cinderella's and chocolate brown eyes. The car was going rather fast and thank Merlin we were all wearing seat belts. But it didn't seem like it was enough. The man at the front lost control of wheel and the car drove off the road and crashed into a tree nearby. My sister screamed and flew forward, her head hitting the seat in front. And that was the last time I heard from Sophia Fall.

The scene changed and I was in the lounge at my father's house. I looked around and saw daisies everywhere, broken frames and pictures were everywhere and a chair was placed behind me.

"Crucio." A deep voice murmured and and a thousand knives were shoved into me. I screamed and fell to the ground, thrashing around. My father moved forward. He punched and kicked me many times. He said the torture curse again and I screamed, tears threatening to come. Another Crucio and I whimpered falling to the ground. My father grabbed some rope and tied my hands together, making them tight as if he wanted the blood to stop circulating. I found myself at his feet as he kicked me over and over again.

"Crucio." He said again and I screamed. Except I wasn't the only one screaming, a young girl's scream had filled my ears followed closely by a large bang.

I screamed loudly and shot straight up, thrashing around. I continued screaming and grabbed my blankets and looked around anxiously. I started crying and sighed shakily. Sweat trickled down my spine and I shivered, staring at the bed covers in horror.

"I'm in Hogwarts. I'm in Hogwarts." I reassured myself, pulling my blankets closer to me.

"Izzy? What happened?" I turned around and saw Marlene sitting up. She stood up and walked over to me. "You okay?"

"What's going on?" Alice and Lily got up as well, both were yawning.

I didn't answer. I was shaking badly, horrified by the nightmare that unfortunately came true. The doors burst open and three boys ran inside.

"What happened?! Lily I'm here to protect you!!" James ran up to Lily and hugged her tightly.

"Potter!! Get off me!!"

"Who screamed?!" Sirius asked, standing beside Marlene who started blushing. I pulled my knees to my chest and tried to hide myself from them.

"Potter!!"

"Be quiet Evans! Someone screamed who was it!?"

I put my head in my hands and sighed, trying to reassure myself that everything is fine...

"James stop it!" Remus yelled. "What happened??" Everyone stayed quiet. I sobbed quietly and they all turned to me. "Izzy..."

I looked at them and stood up. I wiped my eyes and ran out of the room. Sirius blocked the door quickly and looked at me with concern. I pushed him out of the way and ran out of the dormitory.
