Elsa's POV

The rest of the week went by in a blur but it was finally Saturday. Merida non-stop talked about how she was super excited for it. I wasn't surprised. Merida made an amazing recovery in the last 2 days. She was up and about and training and getting people pumped for the first Quidditch match. The game actually gets us out of 3rd and 4th period so I'm not complaining. Punzie keeps telling me about the celebration party. They do something crazy every year. This year she told me they are stepping it up and spending the night in the forbidden forest. They are crazy if they think that I'm going with them. I got out of bed and changed into something comfortable to run in. Jack and I have run together for the past few days. We don't talk much well because we can't but it's still nice to have his company.

I walked out into the courtyard to find Jack waiting for me. He was wearing a muscle shirt that showed his arms through it. He was actually quite ripped. Which makes sense because he is on the Quidditch team. I watched him stretch for a couple more moments before walking towards him and joining him with my own stretches.

The air had a cold bite to it but I didn't mind. It only reminded me that summer is almost over and fall in ready to begin. I liked the fall actually. Not as much as winter but I loved the color of the leaves and how they covered the ground. I really liked Hogwarts. It was like a home away from home. I really wish I could of come here earlier. I looked back over at Jack. His music was blasted and he finished stretching. I put my earphones in and cranked the music as well. Then we were off on the usual route we took every morning.

I looked at Jack in the corner of my eye and I lost my footing and fell. Pain throbbed in my knee and I moved into a sitting position. Jack stopped and took his earphone out "Wow am I really that fast?" He asked as tears burned in my eyes. The pain was horrible. Jack turned around and finally noticed that I had fallen. Blood was pouring out of the huge cut on my knee. He knelt down and looked at it. "Can you walk?" I couldn't speak. I was biting my tongue to keep from crying. I tried to stand up but I couldn't. I shook my head at him. "We need to get that looked at." He put his arm underneath my legs and the other under my back. I winced as he picked me up. He noticed and tried not to moved my knee very much.

He carried me back to the school and to the infirmary. He laid me on an open bed and a nurse came to look at my knee. She cleaned it up and then got a pair of pliers. "This is going to hurt." I looked at her and then at Jack. "Relax." he said before grabbing my hand. The nurse dived into my knee with the pliers and I screamed. Pain shot through my whole leg. Tears spilled out of my eyes even from all my effort to hold them in. I squeezed Jacks hand as the nurse pulled a rock from my knee. "It's over." The nurse whispered as she bandaged up me knee. I let go of Jacks hand. He rubbed it. "I'm sorry for holding so hard." he smiled "It's okay I've had worse." I still feft bad but he just let it go "Let's go get some breakfast." I nodded and he helped me stand.

My knee couldn't take my weight so I sat back down. "Here these will help." the nurse handed me to crutches to help me walk. "Thank you." I told her before heading to the Great Hall with Jack. He sat me down and went to fetch me some breakfast. He was being really nice to me.

He returned a few moments later with two plates. "Here you go my princess." he placed one in front of me "Don't call me princess." I said with a smile on my face "But why your majesty!? What would you rather me call you?" he asked in a sarcastic voice of a servant. "Just Elsa." I said and he smiled and I took a bite of my pancakes. He licked his finger and rubbed my cheek. He blushed "Sorry there was syrup on your cheek." he took a drink of milk from the glass I didn't even know he had. I chuckled at him. "What!?" he asked "You have quite the mustache." I said teasing him. He quickly wiped it away laughing himself.

Rapunzel and Eugene joined us laughing about something. Rapunzel had paint on her face and hands and Eugene did too, all over his face. I smiled. He obviously went to Rapunzels art club and Something happened. I'll have to ask her later. "Good morning train wreck." Said Eugene motioning towards the crutches. I laughed "I fell this morning and had a huge rock wedged in my leg." he laughed "Well I'll make sure not to go running with you anytime soon." I rolled my eyes and shoved another forkful of food into my mouth. "Where's Merida? She should be here blabbing about how the Quidditch match is only 5 hours away." said Jack. Rapunzel looked around "She should be here to fuel up." Then the redhead came into view. She was wearing her Quidditch jersey. "Speaking of the devil." said Jack.

Merida sat down with a plate of food in her hands. She didn't hesitate to start eating. Hiccup joined us a few minutes after Merida did. He looked really tired. He placed his plate next to Merida's and rubbed his eyes. "Morning!" said Punzie "Who's excited for the Quidditch match?" Jack gave her the thanks for bringing it up look. Merida looked at her plate and then at the rest of us. "Guys I know I have blabbered about this for the past few days and I'm sorry." she said before going back to her food. She finished quickly and left to probably get ready.

Hiccup had fallen asleep and Rapunzel went back to talking to Eugene. I turned to Jack "Jack do you want to do something today?" I asked him. He looked surprised at my question. "Um sure. What do you want to do?" he asked rubbing the back of his neck. "Well I want to go to the stables, Would you like to join me?" he nodded "Sure. Why do you want to hang?" he asked me. "Well everyone else is busy today." I said. "Okay and then we can watch the Quidditch match together." I nodded "Sounds like a plan." I said putting more food into my mouth. "Are you going to the celebration party after?" he asked taking a sip from his drink. I shook my head. "Why not?" he asked looking at me. "I'm not staying a night in that forest. It's creepy." I admitted.

"It's not that bad. Trust me. Beside it's a lot of fun even if you don't stay the whole night." he told me. Ugh I don't want to be an outcast if I don't go. "Fine. I'll go but I don't think I'm going to stay the whole night." He smiled "That's the spirit!" I rolled my eyes and finished my breakfast. Jack took my plate and walked away. Rapunzel and Eugene had left as well, It was just sleeping Hiccup and I at the table. I poked his arm. "Hmm?" "Hiccup?" His eyes opened slowly. He looked around till his eyes landed on me.

"Can I ask you a question?" "You just did." he said teasingly. I rolled my eyes "Why does Jack act like he does around me?" His eyes widened at my question. "I know he acts different because all you guys are shocked when he spends time with me." I added. He cleared his throat "Jack has always been a cold fish since 1st year. It's like he actually has a heart when you're around. In my opinion he's changing for the better. You make him a better person Elsa. That's more I could ask from a girl. Jack deserves to finally get over his past." I looked at him "What happened?" he didn't say anything "Every time I ask you guys that you change the subject and say he will tell me on his own time. But he won't..." I doubt he would. Hiccup just looked at me "I can't I'm sorry." he stood from the table "Just ask him. He might tell you." He left the table as Jack returned.

"Let's get you to class." he said before grabbing my crutches. He helped me get up. I smiled at him. I'll ask him at lunch. I can only hope he'll give me an answer.

Jack's POV

After I walked Elsa to her class I headed to mine. I was almost late but I sat down in my seat before the bell. The teacher was about to scold me but I wasn't actually late. "Okay class today we are going to have a competition for a vial of liquid luck." The teacher pointed to the tiny vial. I want that. I could use that.

"Now the competition is simple. Each of you will try to make Draught of Living Death." great. I have no chance at winning this. This is the hardest potion to make. "Open to page 54 in your textbook to find the instructions. Everything you need is set up at the stations. You have an hour! Begin!" people rushed to their stations and I picked an open one near the window.

I opened my textbook and noticed that someone had scribbled notes inside. (Like in the half blood prince) I read them over and realized I had cheat codes. I quickly got to work copying everything in the book in the right order.

The hour was up and Professor Up was walking around the room checking people's pots. I watched as he stopped at Anna's. Hers turned green and bubbled over the edge. The Professor shook his head and continued. I looked out the window and watched a snowflake fly in. I held my hand out and caught it. Snowflakes? I looked out the window. It was still sunny out and it was still September. Weird.

"WELL DONE FROST!" I was snapped out of my thoughts to the Professors shouting. "YOU HAVE DONE IT MY BOY!" Everyone stared at me as he grabbed my hand and shook it. "You're the only one in this room to actually make the potion. I believe you deserve this award." He placed the Liquid luck in my hand and started clapping. Everyone joined in. I won I actually won! Well this is going to be a good day.

I walked out of class with a huge grin on my face. Thanks to those cheat codes I won. I walked to my next class and sat down. Nothing could ruin my mood.

Second period was over and I was still wearing a grin on my face. I have to find Elsa and tell her all about it. I walked into the Great Hall and found her reading a book "Hello Princess." I said sitting down across from her. She looked up and looked into my eyes with her ice blue ones. "I told you not to call me Princess." I smiled at her. "Well Angel let's go to the stables and cuddle them to death." People were giving me weird glares but I tried to keep my focus on her. "You seem to be in a good mood." She smiled and my heart fluttered. Damn I love her smile. "I'll tell you all about it as we walk to the stables." I got up and started to walk away, I then realized that she was still on crutches so I slow down so she could catch up.

"So why is that grin on your face so big?" She asked teasing me. "I have had an amazing day so far." "Hmm. Tell me all about it." I smiled at her. People were staring at us. It was getting in my nerves so I stared back. Everyone moved out of our way and averted their eyes. Elsa watched me. I suddenly felt subconscious about what I did. Why does she make me feel like this? I suddenly got angry and my grin faded. My good mood floated out of my reach.

I put my hands in my pockets and just walked alongside Elsa. She could destroy me and she doesn't even know it. "Just forget it my good mood is gone anyway." I walked away faster then she could on crutches. Then she grabbed me on the arm and almost fell over. She had dropped her crutches just to catch up. I suddenly went on protective mode and grabbed her to hold her up. She winced in pain and I helped lean her against the wall. I walked over to where she had dropped her crutches and picked them off of the floor. People moved out of the way as I walked back towards Elsa. She looked sad to see people do that. I handed her her crutches and she put them under her arms.

"Don't go." she said quietly. I lifted her chin. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't of made you hurt yourself. I promised you I would spend time with you. Let's go." We walked towards the stables. I can't believe she wanted me to stay.

We walked into the stables and animal noises burst out of every corner. Elsa hopped along towards the dogs and I followed closely behind. She stopped in front of a cute little Direwolf puppy. Elsa just stared at him and then I remember she can't really pick him up. I bent over and went to pick him up. GRRRR! I quickly pulled my hands back. Elsa laughed "He seems to like you." She said sarcastically trying to tease me. I bent down again. Okay now come on I'm not that scary I mentally told the little puppy. He looked at me and then accepted his fate. I picked him up and held him. Elsa smiled and rubbed his little ears. "What's his name?" I asked her. "Snowball." "That's cute." She smiled again. I blushed at her cute smile. She is so beautiful. I put the dog back down and I moved closer to her.

She tilted her head up and I was about to bring my lips to hers but I stopped myself. She opened her eyes and stared at me "I'm sorry... I-I know you don't have feelings for me." I rubbed my neck and turned away so I couldn't see her expression. "Your right I don't." my heart broke at her words. "I know." I said coldly. "Let's just go to the Quidditch game it should be starting soon." She nodded and we walked to the field without saying another word.

Merida's POV

My heart quickened as the horns sounded. Time seemed to slow down as the doors opened. Fog poured out the door as we started to walk towards the light. I have waited for this moment. I threw my leg over my broom and waited. "THE GRYFFINDOR HOUSE!" Show time.

I flew out the door and into the field. We circled around the crowds heads. I felt the wind in my hair. Man I love this feeling. "THE HUFFLEPUFF HOUSE!" those words popped me out of my day dreams. I stopped flying because it was their turn. I watched them circle around. Kristoff was in front as the head player just like me. We were the best of the best which was going to make this game interesting.

When they were done we lined up and waited for the referee. "Alright I want a nice clean game! Follow the rules and have fun!" the ref shouted. Kristoff and I made eye contact. I smirked and he smirked back. "Begin!" The ball shot up in the air and I went after it. The other balls were released and players went into their positions. I got to the ball before Kristoff but he wasn't far behind. I flew my broom into high gear and charged towards the 3 rings. I passed the ball to Eric who scored a goal in the second highest hoop awarding us 50 points.

My eyes scanned the crowd. I found Hiccup but he had his nose in a book. He wasn't paying attention. I felt a pain of sorrow in my heart thinking that he didn't care about what I did. Then pain shot through my side. Since I wasn't paying attention a bludger had hit me. I'll stayed on my broom and fought threw the pain. I got possession of the ball again and flew towards the hoops but Kristoff blocked my way. I tried to get around him but him mimicked everything I did. I then fake passed it to Eric, Kristoff fell for it so I took the opportunity and passed it to Thomas. I gave him a sly smirk before going to help the others.

Come on Astrid catch the snitch! I mentally shouted at her. I scanned the field quickly with my eyes, Astrid was nowhere in sight. Then she popped out from behind one of the sitting booths. She was standing in her broom! My mouth flew open as I stared at her awesomeness. I couldn't even do that. She reached out and caught the snitch but she was falling. I leaned in a flew as fast as I could to catch her. I almost didn't but I did at the last second. "GRYFFINDOR WINS! ASTRID CAUGHT THE SNITCH! 150 POINTS FOR GRYFFINDOR!" Astrid raised her hands in the air and so did I. We played great today.

I looked up to where Hiccup was sitting. He still had his nose in a book and was giving no interest what so ever. Again I felt sadness in my heart. Why doesn't he care about the things I do? I always show interest in his things. Ugh why am I getting so worked up about this? It's not like we're dating. I looked down at the ground and watched as everyone either left or went to the change rooms. I just stood there on the field. I hopped on my broom and entered my day dream.

I flew over the crowd. They were all screaming my name as the wind flowed through my hair. "Merida! Merida!" I raised my hands in the air and went even faster. "MERIDA!" I was pulled back into reality once again. I looked down to see Hiccup on the ground. I flew down at the ground and got off my broom. "What do you want?" I asked him in a cold tone. He looked nervous "You played well out there." he said rubbing his neck "How could you know? You weren't even paying attention." he looked hurt "Yes I was." he said defensively. "No you had your nose in a book the whole time." "Not the whole time. And it isn't a book it's a sketch book. I drew this while you were playing." he handed me a piece of paper. It was a picture of me playing. I smiled "It may have looked like I wasn't paying attention but I was. You shouldn't lose focus or you will get hit with a bludger again." I blushed and punched him in the arm. "Shut up Dragon Boy." he smiled and pointed towards the school. "The suns going to go down soon. Everyone is waiting for you to start the party so hurry up and shower, You smell." I laughed "Thanks love you too." he held up his hands "Only trying to be honest here!" We laughed. He turned around and ran back towards the school and I ran to the showers. I was really excited about tonight.

Elsa's POV

After we all packed our bags with the things we needed we just waited for Merida. Since this is her celebration and all. There is less people then I expected probably because we are the only crazy ones to go into the forbidden forest at night. But Jack is here which is nice. He tried to kiss me in the stables and a part of me wanted him to but the other didn't. He stopped himself and said that he knew I didn't like him that way. But now I don't know if that's the truth. Everyone else is here too like Kristoff, Anna, Rapunzel, Eugene, Hiccup, Eric and Ariel. We are only waiting on the Qudditch star Merida. Everyone was having their own conversations but Jack and I stayed silent. I think that he is still upset about earlier. When we were watching the Qudditch match he didn't seem into it. He just sat there deep in his thoughts. It's weird to think that Jack is the tough guy at this school because he's seems soft around me. I looked down at my gloved hands. The headmistress got me a new pair since I told her the other ones got wet. I felt better now that I had them on.

"There she is!" shouted Punzie sounding super excited. I looked to see the redhead in the distance. She walked up to us and Punzie handed her her bag. "Who's ready to get our crazy on!?" she shouted. Everybody cheered except Jack and I. I looked over at him, He just had his hands in his pockets looking like he didn't have a single care in the world. Merida started walking and everyone followed but I stayed behind. I seriously didn't want to go in and now that Jack and I weren't on good terms technically I didn't have to go. I turned around and walk back to the castle-like school.

I heard footsteps behind me before a hand grabbed my arm. I turned to face Jack "What do you want?" I asked him coldly. He looked hurt from my tone. He rubbed the back of his neck "Aren't you coming?" he asked quietly. "Why should I? I'm not going to have any fun." he looked at me "You said you would." I rolled my eyes. He's going to lay a guilt trip on me? "Yeah that was before you gave me the cold shoulder." He looked down at the ground. "Fine then, Don't come! It's not like I care." He shoved his hands in his pockets and walked back towards the forest. I continued to walk towards the school but another arm stopped me.

It was Punzie. "What do you think you are doing?! This is a party! You cannot leave!" She grabbed my arm tighter and pulled me into the woods. Man she has a strong grip. Rapunzel's hair was down to her knees now. It had only been a week and her hair was already that long. "Okay! I give up I'll go!" I shouted. She let go of my arm "You better!" she laughed and I laughed with her. I followed her all the way to where the group had stopped. Jack was back to himself. He was laughing and talking and having a good time. Maybe I shouldn't be here.

Merida saw us first "Yay ye are coming!" she shouted. I nodded my head and the group continued to walk where ever they are going.

We stopped a few moments later when we came to a lake. The sun was still up but it barely peaked over the horizon. Everyone started to strip. Are they seriously going to go swimming in that? Eugene and Kristoff were the first two to jump in. They are all crazy. Everyone else jumped in and I sat down leaning my back against a tree. I opened my bag and pulled out my homework. I could hear everyone laughing and splashing in the distance. "Elsa! Why don't ye come in? The water's fine!" yelled Merida. Yeah it is now but if I touch it the whole thing would be frozen solid. "I'm not much for swimming!" I yelled back. "Suit yerself!" Merida yelled back.

The sun went down an hour later and everyone got out of the water. I stared at Jack as he stepped out of the water. He and the rest of the guys had six packs and muscles everywhere. It was kinda hot. My focus was on Jack though. I watched as the water dripped from this hair and down his torso. What am I doing? I looked away and packed everything back into my bag and stood up.

Once everyone was dressed we continued to walk to find a place to settle for the night. Then a twig snapped. Everyone turned their heads towards the noise. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up. I was scared. I did not want to be here right now. I wasn't the only one to think this. "Maybe we should go back." said Punzie her voice shaking. "I can't see anything. I think we would just get more lost." said Hiccup "What do ye mean 'more' lost?" Merida questioned. "Well we have no idea where we are now, How are we going to find our way back?" Hiccup said. There was another twig snap. My heart was racing and felt like it was going to burst out of my chest at any moment. I wanted to get out of here. GRRRR! A black figure emerged from where we heard the noise. "Run!" yelled Kristoff. Everyone ran but I was frozen in place.

The creature walked towards me baring it's teeth. I took off my gloves and got ready to defend myself. The black figure walked closer and closer till it's face was inches from mine. It smelled me. Fear pricked through every nerve and my instincts were screaming at me to run but I stayed still. The creature started to circle me. Another one joined it. They both circled around me but I didn't move an inch. My heart hammered inside my chest. What do I do?

Jack's POV

"Where's Elsa?" asked Anna trying to catch her breath. We ran for who knows how long and we never noticed that Elsa wasn't with us. I looked around but there was no sign of her. "We have to go back!" yelled Punzie with tears running down her face. "I'll go." I said. Everyone looked at me. "You know that I have a better chance at defending myself." everyone but Anna knew about my powers. They all nodded and I ran as Fast as I could in the direction that we came from. Please, Please be okay.

What seemed like hours I found Elsa surrounded by two creatures that I couldn't make out in the dark. For some reason it was snowing overhead. I didn't think I was doing that. I tried to get them under control but I couldn't. Why are they acting out of whack? Focus Jack Focus. I watched as the two creatures growled and bared their teeth. Why is she just standing there? I have to do something.

I quietly crept forward. I need a plan. Okay think Jack think. My powers! But what will Elsa think? Will she be scared? She was bound to find out soon enough. I took another step forward and stopped. It started to snow harder. Wait! My wand. I pulled out my wand. Okay what spell? Ugh why can't I remember anything right now? It's important to save Elsa life. Wait she has a book of spells in her book bag. Too bad I can't see anything right now. I scanned my eyes around. It's too dark!

The moon then shone through the trees. Thank you moon. I scanned my eyes over the area again and spotted her backpack. It's on the other side. I looked up. I can climb the trees. I placed my wand in-between in my teeth and reached up. I climbed up branch by branch until I could pass over to the next tree. I was half way over to the other side. I was so close and then SNAP! The branch that I had placed my foot on snapped and I fell.

I landed on my arm and it throbbed in pain. GRRRR! I turned to face one of the creatures. It bared it's teeth and walked forward. At least it's not focused on Elsa. I backed away from the creature and my hand landed on her backpack. I ripped it opened and shuffled through it until I found the book of spells. The creature moved closer and I used a tree to stand up. I don't have much time. My arm hurt as I turned the pages but I dealt with it. I finally came upon the Entrail-Expelling Curse. Perfect! I grabbed my wand from my mouth "ENTRAIL!" I shouted. The creature whined as it's insides poured out if his mouth. I did the same to the other creature. I walked over to Elsa who was now kneeling on the ground.

"Let's get out of here." I picked up her things and we walk back together. I want to throw up and change my clothes but I know that that isn't an option until morning but it would still be nice. Elsa limped beside me. Where did her crutches go? I held my arm close to my body and walked with Elsa. Finally everyone else came into view. Punzie stood up and came over to us. "Are you guys okay?" I nodded. We were both covered in blood and dirt but otherwise I think we were okay. Anna pulled Elsa into a hug. I leaned on a tree and sat down on the ground. Eugene came over and sat beside me.

"What happened?" he whispered "I'll tell you later. Right now I want to go back to the school." "We can't we're lost. We will have to spend the night here." Great. I rested my head against the tree. "I'll get a fire going." said Hiccup "I'll help you." offered Kristoff. Elsa and Anna were cuddled together. Tears poured down her cheeks and blood poured out of her knee. She had multiple scratches on her face probably from us running through the woods.

Hiccup and Kristoff returned with firewood and they started a fire. Merida pulled out Marshmallows but I wasn't in the mood to eat anything after what I did to those things. I pulled my legs close to my chest and rested my chin on my knees. I looked over at Elsa. She looked up at me and she stood up. She limped her way over to me. She sat down and leaned her head on my shoulder. I straightened my legs out and leaned my head on hers. "Thanks you." she said quietly. "Are you hurt?" I asked her. She shook her head "Don't lie to me." "My knee hurts." she finally admitted "What about you?" she asked "I hurt my arm when I fell from that tree, I'm also covered in that weird creatures blood but otherwise I'm fine." We were silent for a few moments. "I'm sorry you were dragged into this." I said "It's not your fault. I came in here after Rapunzel dragged me. If I didn't get swarmed by those things I might've actually have fun." I put my good arm around her. She looked up at me. I could see the fires reflection in her eyes. "You should get some sleep." she nodded her head and leaned her head back on my shoulder. "I'm going to put protective charms up." said Hiccup pulling out his wand.

Now we just have to wait until morning. My eyes got heavy but I forced myself to stay awake. Everyone else was eating Marshmallows and having fun. This was the worst idea ever. If they saw what Elsa and I went through out there they wouldn't be laughing right now. Punzie sat down beside me and offered a cooked marshmallow. I shook my head and she popped it in her mouth. "What happened out there?" she asked "Something came out of the woods and circled Elsa, I didn't know what spell to use so I went for her backpack. I climbed a few trees and fell out hurting my arm. I used the expelling curse and the creatures insides burst out. It was disgusting. Then I did it to the other one and then we ran back." I told her. She looked at me "You were really brave to go after her Jack." I shook my head. "I just want to go back to the school." she nodded. "This was a terrible idea. We are never doing this again." I glared at her "You think." she laughed "Get some sleep. Make sure you guys go straight to the infirmary tomorrow." I nodded. "I think everyone else is going to go to bed soon as well." She stood up and walked back over to Eugene.

I signed and looked up at the moon. I couldn't have done what I did without it's light. I mentally thanked it and looked down to watch everyone else get ready to sleep. I felt safer knowing that there were protective charms around us. Anna and Kristoff curled up together and so did Eugene and Punzie. Merida and Hiccup stayed away from each other but as the night went on the moved closer. I smiled at them. I was the last one awake. I noticed that Eric and Ariel weren't with us anymore. I wonder where they got off to. I looked down at Elsa. She was sleeping peacefully. I smiled at her and kissed her forehead. I'm glad she's okay. I rested my head on top of hers and let sleep take over.
