one drive later

Links POV

I clambered out of the car to reveal a large studio building. as we walked closer I saw that it was painted many different colours and had fancy writing on the door.

"Come in. Some of the crew should be in today since there is a meeting about this weeks video." Rhett pushed open a door to reveal a dimly lit corridor. As we walked further down we heard the distant chatter of people. we walked through another door and my eyes had to readjust to the light. A series of voices greeted Rhett as he walked in. I stood awkwardly in the doorway, unsure of what to say. Everybody turned round and stared at me.

"Uh Rhett who is your friend?" a young girl with long blonde hair pointed at me. Rhett turned round and smiled.

"This is Link. He's my friend that I met about a week ago." everyone greeted me with smiles and waves. I shyly waved back.

"Link this is Alex, Chase, Stevie and Eddie. Just some of the crew who works here at GMM." he pointed to each individual.

"so guys what have we got? We need a new idea for the show on Friday." he swivelled round and leant on the table next to me. Nobody met his gaze. They started shuffling around papers, whistling, doing anything not to catch his eye.

"Come on guys! Anything?" I slowly raised my hand. Everyone turned to look at me in surprise.

"Link you got something?" Rhett smiled at me.

"I heard about this thing called never wet....and its supposed to stop stains getting on your clothes. Maybe one of us could have like....a suit or something covered in the stuff and the other doesn't. you know...for comparison....." everyone was now smiling.

"Wow Link... that's a great idea! Why don't you guys order this stuff and we'll do that on Friday?" everybody nodded and left the room leaving us alone.

"Now Link I've got something to ask you. How would you like to star in this weeks episode of GMM?" he raised an eyebrow at me.

"You don't mind?" he shook his head.

"Don't worry about it. The fans are a little crazy but its fine. In fact...." he pulled out his phone and went onto twitter.

"Hey mythical beasts...got a special guest this Friday...be nice to him..." he mumbled under his breath. As soon as he had posted it his phone was buzzing like crazy.

"That's got them all excited. Come on lets see the rest of the building." he beckoned me through to the other room, excited to see more.
