Day 10

Little by little, I know where and what I want to be. However, due to misconception and lack of confidentiality, I disregard it. Trying many times then receiving continuous rejections and failures makes me strong. I am an introverted person, I would rather not socialize with strangers, and specifically, I prefer being alone. Yet, as I grow old, I become independent and need to deal with others.

I am currently here at my auntie's house. It is big with a classic marble style. Yes, I grab the position without knowing what are the possible tasks or roles that she will be given. My auntie looks 80 years old, white color with short hair. Still, her memory is wonderful and can do many things.

“Alessia, come here!”

I went to her place, and I was amazed by what I saw. She has a big room with a lot of stuff. Then my eyes were focused on one cat sleeping on her couch. The cat’s color is orange with plenty of white. I think the gender is male because of serious face and his whole body is chubby.

“Your only task is to bring me some food here, but don’t worry, you will not be my chef. Someone will cook for me. Is that okay for you?”

“Yes, auntie, I got it! Do I have any tasks aside from that?” I asked.

“Nothing. Only serving food is your task. If ever I have something to command, this is only for my interest. I don’t know what to do for my money.”

“What do you mean, auntie?” I got so confused by her last words that I don’t understand why she doesn't know how to handle her money.

“Nothing dear. I am so old and a retired doctor. I just want to feel what life is. By the way, you have your room on the left side. You can check it later.” She smiled and left me.

Before I went to my room, I realized that money cannot buy happiness. It is just wasting time if you don’t know how to secure it.

Until I hear a loud shout in her room.

“What happened?”
