You find scattered papers on the floor. All but one of them is smeared with blood and unreadable.
On the one legible paper is a partial account of the bases operations: Two weeks underground and still no sign of a solution. They've taken a majority of the surface. Only Washington D.C. still stands. They've ravaged the country and many others around the world. This is an enemy I fear we cannot defeat. Our best chance is to live on and pray that don't find us.
