"There is a list being handed out and on the list there are two columns," The deputy principal, Mr Bang - don't ask about the name, all I know is that he's not a Kim - announces out loud.

"The first column that reads 'Potential Nominee' means you are ten of twenty who might be part of the leaders." He says, I watch as the old librarian lady hands out the list for our row. The anticipation is killing me and this is taking too long. I spotted Jimin in the front row along with Namjoon and seeing them already looking down at their list is making me kinda nervous, no doubt there on the Potential Nominee side.

"The second column that reads 'Noumenon Nominee' simply means you are not experienced in this field and nobody knows why you were nominated." Mr Bang says sarcasm leaking out his voice

I don't even know why I'm nervous, there's a 50% chance that I might be a Leader and also a 50% that I didn't qualify or meet the requirements. Besides I've only been here for about two weeks, its a miracle that I'm even nominated.

"I heard Jimin nominated you," So-hye says besides me while we patiently (she's waiting patiently, I'm trying to breathe) for the librarian lady to come to our side. Gosh somebody please help her !

"Huh?" I grant. "Yeah I know and I also found out that he doesn't do that,"

"He doesn't." She rapidly shakes her head. "But props to you for catching his attention." She says giving me thumbs up then soundlessly clapping.

For some reason a smile appears on my mouth. Props to me

"Yeah but Seolhyun was really..." I shrug my shoulders looking forward, remembering her slight twitch when she spoke.

"I know how you feel." She touches my arm slightly, sympathy vibes.  "When they announced me as Honourable Girl of the school last year. She. went. ballistic." She emphasizes each word.

"Really?"

"I didn't even know what I did wrong except for being around Jimin, but hei," she shrugs and kindly accepts the lists from the librarian lady (finally!) passing it down the row. "Props to me for being an Honourable girl." She says. So Jungkook was right the time he said Seolhyun was jealous of So-hye. I really hope she isn't jealous of me, she has no reason to -she's dating him and gets to do things people like So-hye can't do with him.

"Are you ready?" She breaks me out my thoughts. I nod just as my heart decides to be a jungle rock drum. The sooner I find out the sooner my heart rate will go down.

I look down at the list eyeing both titles of the columns, the first column only has twenty names while the other column runs down all the way to the other side when you turn the page.

50% chance...more like 10%

I begin to scan the first column for my name -

"YES!! Kim sisters are both potentials!" I jump by So-hye's sudden outburst, not just me but some heads turn towards us. Well...

At least I know I'm a potential. I read quickly down the list and spot my name and under it surprisingly is  Kim So-hye.

Seolhyun made the list, Yoongi made the list, Namjoon and Jimin obviously made the list... So did Jung Hoseok. My heart flatters just by seeing his name... I really do miss his presence in me.

"Well we made it... Kim sister." She fangirls a bit when I say Kim sister. This girl is crazily funny, she's a strange Kim.

"Now all that's left is being part of the ten leaders." Oh yeah, first worry is over and second worry begins now.

"Alright I see we all have our lists. If you are not part of the twenty Potential Nominees then please make your way back to class." Mr Bang says, this deputy principal is seriously such a meanie, I hope principal, Heman, isn't like this.

The assembly hall slowly starts becoming less crowded and less noisy. Mr Bang tells us the remaining ones to move forward filling up the left side of the hall. "10 of you will be Leaders and the other 10 will be understudies incase one of the ten can't manage," he says and begins walking up the stage.

While So-hye and I move, I catch a random pretty girl and Seolhyun's eyes, she immediately smiles. She walks towards me and pushes So-hye away from me.. making So-hye nearly loose her balance.

"Are you nervous?" She smiles brightly and walks with me like nothing happened. I turn my head back to So-hye but she puts both her thumbs up with a sad smile and nods her head. Breathe in breathe out.

"I'm so nervous,"

She loops her arm with mine and we head to the front seats, where Jimin and Namjoon are seated.

"I'll take it from here," a husky voice stops us. I turn to Hoseok and smile at him.

"Hey you," I say hugging him my arms around his shoulder, he hugs me back his hands lightly around my waist. It feels long since I last saw him. I try to push away but he holds me tightly. I suddenly notice some people looking at us.

"Let them watch," he says reading my mind. My heart stops and I turn my head searching for his eyes. He smiles and let's go sitting me down next to him. I turn the other way and notice Namjoon has shifted to the chair beside me to make space for Seolhyun. Namjoon looks at me and pops out his dimple.

"That was mean, don't you think?" I quietly say to him. He looks surprised and starts to stutter.

"I- I just smiled, I didn't I didn't mean it as a-"

"What are you talking about?" I stop him from saying his weird things. "I meant that you had to move over for her," I say clarifying. He opens his mouth and closes it. How could he think his cute and deep dimple made me mad.

"Oh. You know how she is," he says. He points to Hoseok, "His loud and weird but she is cunning and bossy." He says. I nod trying to figure out why he said she's cunning, but Hoseok touches my cheek slightly.

I turn to him suddenly looking confused. Let's see if he can read my mind, Why are you only answering me now in my head?

I can only reach you when we're close
He surprises me when he answers, but now it does explain a few things.

What do you mean?

You've shut me out Yoona..

No

Then why aren't I in? He asks. I tilt my head opening my mouth. Am I supposed to know the answer? I seriously don't know what's going on and his not making any sense. Did I really push him out?

Don't worry about it okay.. I'm gonna make sure he disappears away from you.

Who?

No answer.

Hoseok who?

No answer. He smiles and pats my head putting his arm around my shoulder facing forward. Yoongi sat next to him and he quickly took his arm way going to J-hope mode.

I huff rolling my eyes.

I had to swap seats with Namjoon because Yoongi was yelling across Hoseok and I in order to be heard from Namjoon. We don't want that kind of  noise especially for the (maybe) 'to be Leaders'. Speaking of which, I turn my head back looking for brown hair in a tight bun and a maroon blazer.

Kim sister where are you?

I smile a little when I spot her in the third row fiddling with something on her lap, I assume it's her fingers. She looks up sensing my stare. Her big smile covers her face when we make eye contact. I mouth out Kim sister and she shakes her head mouthing the same thing.

"What are you doing?" Seolhyun's hushed voice startles me. She turns back catching So-hye's eye and glares at her. Whatever issue she has with So-hye and can't only be about being close to Jimin. She legit looks so pissed.

"Why are you talking to her?" She asks tearing her glare away from her but now on me.

"N-no reason," I look down.

"I don't want you talking to her," my eyes shoots up to her.

Did she she just command me. "What?"

Baby girl, you good?

It's okay Hoseok.

She sighs and loops her arm with mine, "Yoona I don't want to fight with you okay? But I really don't like that girl. She's weird and isn't of a high rank like us. You can't be seen with her or even be talking to her." She says carefully. I just look at her and find myself nodding.

Jimin let's his breath out. "Seriously Seol," He speaks as if he's tired of Seolhyun's behaviour.

"Yes seriously. That girl is testing me now, I gave her a chance but here she is again." Seolhyun finishes folding her arms and her mouth gets in a thin line.

"I told you to stop harassing her." He says looking at her. Seolhyun keeps quiet looking uninterested at her nails.

"The more you keep defending, her the more I will harass her." She says very lowly but Jimin and I catch her words.

Jimin looks at me and I immediately look away, realising that this could've been a private conversation instead of an open one.

"Will you harass Yoona if I become closer to her?" He asks seriously.

I shoot my head to him my eyes enlarging. Does he want Seolhyun to hate me? He smirks at me for a split second then looks at Seolhyun. He thinks this is a game? I look at her too and she has her eyes closed.

She must be really angry.

"Jimin we talked about this already. So stop." She speaks through grated teeth. I slow the lump on my throat and look back at Jimin.

He looks over to me and does a small smile, reassuring that everything is fine. I'm afraid to smile back just in case she notices me.

But I do it anyways - I don't know why. In return he licks his lips and looks away, the smile still evident on his face. Is he looking for Seolhyun's trouble?

And I'm I looking for Hoseok's trouble?

"I think that's all the announcements. Is it?" Principal Heman asks jokingly. She smiles when the school starts screaming leaders. She's been delaying to announce the leaders but finally there is no escape since all the other regular announcements are done. It's time.

"The moment we've all been waiting for," she chuckles.

"A person who takes up the courage to be brave is a person who is destined for greatness. Wealth and success follow a person, not because they have the face or the money, but because of the work they put in every hour, the power and authority they have over the 'delaying voice' and the happiness they share with the people around them." She says looking out to the full assembly, talking about an exceptional human being. "Leaders, is just another way for one hand to help another hand. These learners sitting right in front of me handpicked by you and the teachers already represent the hands of the school." Her eyes linger on mines for a moment. Yes I'm still new in her eyes.

"I have already entrusted them the moment my eyes spotted them. Without more being said let's meet your representative Leaders of this year." She smiles. I clap along with the rest of the school.

This suspense is not good for my slowly rising blood pressure. Just please announce them!

"I will first call up the names of our honorable students: Park Jimin and Kim So-hye," The hall erupts with noise out of no where. Chants of Jimin are being heard, Seolhyun and the others next to me are clapping with all their might and strength. Yoongi makes paranormal noises while laughing.

All this applaud for one person... wow

Kim So-hye is already on stage smiling nervously at the crowd while Jimin is being patted on the back by every male student or teacher he passes while walking up the stage.

On stage Jimin and So-hye shake hands, he gives her his cute eye smile and her face immediately heats. I smuggle my grin while beside me Seolhyun clinches her jaw.

"Calm down Seol," I say quietly. She nods quickly her focus on Jimin.

The applauding chaos goes on for a little bit till the teachers start quieting down the hyper students.

It's a Friday thing they have to understand. Hoseok says in my head making me roll my eyes playfully. These hooligans would scream for Jimin any day and time.

My nerves start coming on slowly thinking of the Leaders. What if everyone in my row goes except for me? It's be so embarassing.

"Honourable students who gave up their leisure time for the love of school and exceeded on exams with brilliant marks," Principal Heman says smiling.

Jimin stands focused with charm running around him, a quirky smile playing on his lips. So-hye stands cutely with her hands behind her back her face completely still.

"Now Mr Park and Miss Kim," Mrs Herman spreads her arms to te two on stage. "Are the first representative Leaders. If I call up your name please come up on stage and stand next to Miss Kim if you are a female and Mr Park if you are a male."

What if you're trans? J-hope's voice ponders in my head. I look down muffling my little giggle. He leans forward making eye contact with me his grin brighter then the sun.

"You may clap after all the Leaders are on stage" Mrs Herman looks down and starts calling out names.

"Namjoon, Kai, Yoongi and Hoseok." She finishes with the males and the assembly hall goes crazy again.

My hope made it. I smile and applaud loudly.

Seolhyun giggles beside me, "I don't even need to guess who you're doing that for," She smiles. This is the only time I get to clap like a maniac because in classes I can't clap. Now I understand the excitement.

"Okay girls." Here goes the names..

Yoona-"

"WOO!!" The booming voice of J-hope makes everyone go crazy and applaud. I glance up to him and Seolhyun beside me laughs in the midst of everyone applauding and whistling.

"Okay kids settles down, settle down," Mrs Herman chuckles lightly on the microphone. "Thank you Mr Hoseok.  You too are included when I say you only applaud for everyone while they're on stage. He sheepishly grins and watches me as I calmly take my steps up the stage. I walk past the guys and they seem happy, J-hope being the brightest.

I stand next go So-hye and she grins tapping my shoulder whispering, " Kim sisters ~"

"Right let's get back. Rachael, Seolhyun and Uni. Now you may go crazy Mr Jung." She motions to him. "Clap for yourselves,"

As told he joins as the whole hall burst in bright happiness for the Leaders.

"Okay. Honourables were assigned to give us a motto or phrase for this new year at ASH. So Honourables," she says. Wait, is this why So-hye was so nervous?

Both So-hye and Jimin make their way to the pulpit, Jimin makes her go first

"Our minds should be possessed by the word success." She says and everyone claps, she spoke well I don't see why she was so nervous, plus it was a tiny speech. Next up is Jimin.

"Kill them with success and bury them with smiles," he says and sounds of approvals are already heard and then claps.

"I present to you, your new leaders,"
