Commander Grey paced in front of four Time Travelers, his hands placed behind his back. "Starting today, as you may have heard, four Time Travelers will be tracking down the beast and see what it does. Follow its every move, don't let it see you. Report to me when you're done."

Bailey glanced over to his left. The Time Travelers looked as if they had done this their entire lives, while Bailey felt like he was going to throw up. The last time he had saw the monster was when it tried to kill him.

"Get going! Now!" He screamed, ushering them to the portal. The four Time Travelers hesitated before running into it. Once inside, they formed a small circle to come up with a plan. "First off, let's quickly introduce ourselves. This won't work if we don't know each other. For starters, I'm Mia." Mia said, scanning the three individually. "I'm William. You can just call me Will," a smirk formed on his face as he placed his hands on his hips. The next person rolled their eyes at Will, "I'm Paige." She said, crossing her arms in annoyance. "Erm, I'm Bailey..." he said, feeling completely out of place.

"Okay! That's everyone. follow my lead, we'll scan the area and if any of you see the monster, give me the signal. We can't get too close, or we'll all be screwed, okay?" Mia moved so that she was in front. Paige followed closely behind, giving her a quick nod.

The four had set out, watching closely for any suspicious things. A sudden gasp filled everyone's ears as Paige pointed at a half melted portal. "Looks like it may be close by, good eye Paige." Paige smiled, running her fingers through her dark brown hair. Glancing behind, she gave a cocky smirk to Will who only gave a peeved one back.

Mia continued forward, getting a closer look at the portal. "Take a look at this, you can't even go in..." she stuck her hand through the unmelted part, the portal started to separated into nothing. That time was gone. "There's more over there!" Bailey pipped up, pointing ahead at the line of destroyed portals. Mia narrowed her eyes in annoyance.

"How are even going to stop this? When the time comes, we'll kill it, but..." Mia trailed off, looking a little defeated. "But the only one who can bring it all back is the monster," Paige finished. "Well, maybe killing it isn't what we need to do. Maybe we could talk to it, or..."

Paige cackled at Will's stupidity. "Talk to it? That has to be the dumbest thing I've ever heard!" Paige continued to laugh until Bailey stopped her. "I, um, think it's a good idea. I mean, I did it..."

"Oh, believe me honey, everyone knows about you. Tell me, what did you two talk about? Did you ask it to stop destroying time? Did it say yes? Because it didn't work!" Paige got up in his face, glaring daggers. "Will you guys shut up and help me, it's literally over there."

The monster circled a portal, seemingly studying it. Unsatisfied, a shot of acid came from its mouth and covered the portal. "Well, go on monster whisperer, talk to it!" Paige spat, pushing him forward. "Will, Paige, stay here. You two are completely useless anyways." Mia said, grabbing Bailey's arm." Paige glared at the two, balling both her fists up.

"What do you think this thing wants?" Mia whispered, keeping a close eye on the monster. "I don't know, but it has to be doing this for a reason." Bailey replied, taking in a deep breath. "And later, when you talked about the final mission, what did you mean by when we kill it?"

Mia lowered her eyes, "Well, as an example, if you froze time you are the only one who can unfreeze it. So if we kill this thing, we can't get them back. Only that thing can." Bailey nodded his head in understandment. "So, we do have to talk to it?" He asked, trying to sound a little hopeful. "I don't know. Let's keep moving, it's getting away."

Time had passed as they followed the monster. Paige and Will caught up to them, pretending to be apologetic for how they acted.

Suddenly, Bailey felt a wave of dizziness over take him. He grasped his head, trying to stay steady. "Are you okay, man?" Will asked, "are you freezing up? There's a portal over there, we ca-" Bailey shook his head. "I... I can't-"

"Why are you here? Why did you bring those people?"

Bailey sat up, grasping his head. The monster sat directly in front of him. Its red eyes burned into him. He tried to speak, yet he couldn't. He thought back to the first time.

"Who are you? Why are you following me? You can't stop me, I need to do this! No one can stop me. No one."

The monster shoved its face into Bailey's, engraving the image into his mind.

"I'll be back one day..."

It started, keeping its eyes locked into Bailey's. Undoubtedly, he felt like crying.

"And no one will get in my way, not even you..."

"I'm sorry! He just passed out! What was I supposed to do? I'm not a doctor believe it or not." Mia stood beside him, yelling at the Commander who was fuming. Paige kicked him in the side, causing Bailey to yelp in pain. "Sorry, just wanted to kick him." She said, shrugging her shoulders.

They were back in the real world, what he hoped was the real world at least. "Bailey, if this keeps happening I'm gonna-"

"You're not gonna do anything, he's a valuable person to this mission, and so is everyone else." The princess walked in, eyes burning into the commanders. "Look at him! He almost died again! He's completely useless!"

Aurora held out her hand for Bailey to take. "I suppose the monster just likes him, yeah? We'll have more outings tomorrow, different people. When the final one comes, you'll all be there. Work together as a team. No one gets left behind."

Bailey gave Aurora a weak smile. No one gets left behind...
