Introductions
Liam's POV: (Bet you weren't expecting that!?)
We had spent all day worrying about Louis, and then he shows up with this remarkable story and immediately puts us to work cleaning his flat and getting food! The nerve of that boy astounds me sometimes, but right then I was just happy that he was home, safe, and seemingly not too heartbroken over Eleanor. Honestly, I expected him to be a lot more upset that he was, it must be that the distraction of a new friend, and the excitement of getting to introduce her to us, had driven the depression from his mind. I could see the sadness lurking behind his eyes, though, and suspected a monumental breakdown later, but for now, he was okay, and I intended to keep him that way for as long as possible.
He was just starting to get antsy waiting for her when there was a knock. He sprinted over and opened it, shouting, "RO!" and grabbing the girl in a bone-crushing hug. He pulled back a little, said something I couldn't hear, and then dragged her inside the flat, closing the door behind her and taking her coat to put away while she took off her rather worn black boots. She was quite a pretty girl, I could see why Louis took to her so quickly. She had some of the longest hair I had ever seen!
She looked around, not seeming to have noticed us yet, since Harry was in the bathroom, Niall was in the kitchen messing around in the fridge, and I was sitting on the couch. Then Louis returned.
"LADS! COME MEET ROSANNA!" He shouted at the top of his lungs, making Niall whack his head on the fridge, Harry to drop something if the thud from the bathroom was an accurate tell-tale, me to cover my ears, and Rosanna to jump five feet away from him and cower, covering her head and flinching away, as though expecting him to hit her. Louis and I both frowned, but plastered smiles on our faces before she saw the frowns and then I got up and went towards her.
"Hi, I'm Liam." I introduced myself, wrapping her up in a large hug for a second before letting her go and smiling at her. She smiled back.
"It's nice to meet you Liam, I'm Rosanna Schnieder but everyone calls me Ro, Rose, or Anna, whichever you prefer is fine, I answer to all three."
Niall came next, having appeared out of the kitchen at some point, and grabbed her in one of his famous 'Horan Hugs', telling his name to her shoulder, where his head was buried. She laughed.
"I could tell who it was just by the hug, but it's good to be sure." She told him, returning his hug warmly, then mutually letting go. Then Harry sauntered in, smiling at her once he saw her, introducing himself and giving her a gentle hug, as though afraid that he would break her. She hugged him just as firmly as she had hugged us, despite his obvious hesitation (she was a great hugger, she rivaled Niall) and he squeezed her a little tighter before letting go as a result of it.
Rosanna's POV:
So far I had managed to survive meeting the boys, and held my composure after my stupid reaction to Louis's shouting. The old reflexes never truly left, but it had been so long I thought I had gotten over it. Apparently not. Thankfully they didn't seem to notice my odd reaction, so I managed to put it aside and continue on with the introductions. They are all so nice, Harry seemed so hesitant to hug me for some reason, but I quickly fixed that by hugging him as I normally do. We all stood there for a second, and then Liam, the gentleman of the group, invited me to come sit down, so we all congregated in Louis's living room, sprawled over the couches and chairs, long limbs all over the place. Then Niall spoke up.
"Well, since Lou already knows more about you than we do, but he's still only known you for a few hours, lets play Twenty Questions until the rest of the girls get here, yeah?"
I happily agreed, and Harry started it off.
"What are your parents nationalities?"
"My mom is from Ohio in the states, and my dad was Italian, born and raised."
Niall was next.
"Where did you grow up?"
"I was born in Italy, we lived there for ten years after I was born, and then we moved back to Ohio, and I've been there ever since."
Then it was Liam's turn.
"Do you have any siblings?"
"I have one older brother named Kurt, he lives in California and he is four years older than I am."
Then Louis, or course, had to embarrass me.
"Favorite band?"
"This may be a bit awkward, but I will not hesitate to say One Direction."
They all laughed at me, and then Harry brought up the dreaded question.
"Favorite member in said band?" He smiled cheekily.
"Well, when I was younger it was Niall, and then it was Louis, and it's always gone back and forth between you two, but at the moment it's Louis."
Louis looked triumphant, so did Niall, but Liam and Harry just shrugged and moved on.
The rest of the questions involved food and colors, so it was easy to play for the next fifteen minutes, and then there came a knock at the door.
Liam, Harry and Niall all ran to answer it, and the three of them each grabbed a girl in a giant hug, before taking her hand and leading her over to me. Harry announced,
"Girls, we want you to meet a new friend of ours, Rosanna Schnieder."
I stood up, extending my hand towards the first girl, Niall's, with a smile on my face, but on the inside I was straight-up terrified.
A/N: I'm so sorry this is so short, I just had such a big writer's block for this one, the next one will improve, I promise. What did you think of having it in Liam's POV? I thought it would be a nice change, since I'm mainly going to be focusing on Louis and Rosanna's points of view, to have someone different every once in a while.
