It was the next day and Jungkook was on his way to his office in is black Maserati Granturismo ...

today he decided that he will check on the employees before going to his cabin ...
He reached his company and got out of the car in all his glory leaving some of the employees who were still outside the company to gape at his beauty and the powerful aura surrounding him made everyone to look down in respect ...

He walked towards the entrance while taking off his sunglasses and everyone bowed to him to greet him ...
He informed his secretary that he will take a look around the company and check every department's work first and his secretary happily led the way to every department that Jungkook said ...
It was finally time to check the finance department and when he went there, the first thing he saw was a female employee leaning on her chair almost laying on it as if it was her home and was talking very loudly with her other friends or colleagues ...her back facing Jungkook who was looking at her with a blank face...
The other employees saw their boss and were about to stand from their seats and greet him but Jungkook raised his hand, gesturing them to stop and not do anything which will alert that particular female employee....

" Relax ...what will he even do ?
Didn't you notice how he talks to us so nicely and politely since the last few months ?? Even if someone makes any mistakes, he just warns them and let's them go ...take an example of seokjin sir ...he just comes to the office and wastes his time every single day ...he just sits on his chair, drinks coffee and fixes his makeup and yet Jungkook sir doesn't do anything to him ..so what are you even worried about? That he will yell at us or speak in his venomous blank voice? Tch ..don't worry , he is not the same intimidating person as before ...he has become very sweet nowadays ...so it doesn't matter if I complete this today or not ..he won't say anything ..." The lady said with a scoff and sipped on her iced coffee without even noticing the terrified look on her colleagues' faces ...they just shook their heads and only one thing came inside their minds ..
'she is doomed ...'

Jungkook came near her desk and tapped his knuckles on it three times while standing right behind her chair ...

"Who i...s .sir ????!!!" The lady turned around and was startled to the core when she saw her boss standing there while crossing his hands across his chest and one of his perfectly shaped eyebrows was raised ...she stumbled down her chair and almost fell on the ground if one of her colleagues didn't hold her shoulder on time ...

"Good morning miss Sana..." Jungkook said in a mocking tone, his face still not holding any emotion ...

"G..good ..mor.ning ..s.sir ..." Sana stuttered with her head hung low ...

"I see you are quite free today ...well then, I am assuming that you have completed all your works that's why you are sitting so idly here ...
In that case, give the files related to the Li industries ...I remember I told you to properly go through the contract they sent to us and correct the mistakes . .also I want the meeting minutes and pointers of yesterday's meeting ...let me check them. .." Jungkook said oh so sweetly with an innocent smile as he placed his right palm in front of Sana while his left hand was still crossed to his chest ...

"S.sir ..that. .I d.didn't .." Sana was cut off by Jungkook ...

"You didn't do it ? Is that what you are saying ? " Jungkook asked, his voice becoming monotone again and Sana nodded hesitantly ...

"You didn't do your work and still you are sitting here and bitching about how I have become sweet and won't do anything to you ? Tch ...who do you think you are ?
My relative ? My family member ?

Then let me tell you something you little mutt , I don't spare anyone if they piss me off ...not even my family member or whatever ...
You certainly don't seem to like this job anymore so do one thing ...write your resignation and hand it in to me ...
And I want it done within 15 minutes ...
Everyone else can go back to their work and I think this is enough for you all to know that I haven't become any sweet or whatever shits you think about me ..." Jungkook said and made his way towards his office ...his black heels clicking on the polished floor and his head held high like the queen he is ...Sana was crying hysterically and fell on her knees while cursing at herself for not keeping her foul mouth in control and though everyone was feeling pity on her, they knew that she herself called for it so they just went back to their desks and resumed their work ...they all told Sana to complete her work on time and warned her as well but she was stubborn and now they can't do anything for her ...

That day when Jungkook returned back from work, he was surprised to see Taehyung on the living room couch as it was quite late ...almost 12:30 a.m.
He decided not to ask anything and just go to his room but was stopped by Taehyung's voice ...

"Oh you are back ...I was waiting for you ..." Taehyung said and stood up from the couch when he saw Jungkook going towards the stairs ...Jungkook didn't even bother to reply to him and kept walking ...

"Jungkook wait ..." Taehyung called out again when he saw Jungkook was going away and this time Jungkook stopped with a sigh ...

"What ?" Jungkook asked in a cold tone without turning back ...

"Did you ..did you have your dinner ?" Taehyung asked in nervousness...

"No .." Jungkook again answered in a cold tone which made Taehyung a bit sad ...

"Umm .. actually I made dinner today and was ..umm ..waiting for you so that we can maybe eat ..together...
So ..get freshened up and come to the dining table ..I ..will set the table ..." Taehyung said with a little bit of hesitation... hearing him ,Jungkook turned around and looked dead into his eyes ...

"Did I ask you make dinner ? Did I ask you to wait for me ? No right? Then why are you even bothering? Don't waste your precious time on useless things like this ...
And I am again warning you ,don't try to act like a caring husband ...I know you are showing your fake concerns after seeing my miserable state yesterday but I don't need it ...keep your pity and so called care to yourself ...
Moreover I am not hungry so you can eat by yourself ..thank you for the efforts but I will like it if you don't do it ..." Jungkook said in rage and those words were a direct slap on Taehyung's face ...
These harsh words are the same words that Taehyung said to Jungkook when he first made lunch for him ...all these words felt so similar to him and now he knows what it's like when someone doesn't appreciate your efforts ..now he knows how Jungkook must have felt that time when he was the one uttering such mean words without thinking ...
But he remembers how even after he said those words to Jungkook , the younger one didn't back up ...he still gave him the lunchbox ...he still fullfilled his duties and kept all his insults aside so Taehyung decided to do the same ...

" Jungkook I know ..I did a mistake ...I crossed the line..and I am sor.." Taehyung was cut off by Jungkook...

"Cut the crap ..I don't want to to hear such nonsense...if you have nothing else to say, I am going to my room ..." Jungkook said with irritation lacing his voice and again turned around to leave ...

"Have dinner with me ... please ...I won't ask you to eat anything else but just eat the dessert ...just please eat something ...
I can't let you sleep with an empty stomach ..." Taehyung whispered the last part to himself ...he couldn't even look at jungkook who was glaring at him ...Jungkook didn't say anything but directly moved towards the dining table and sat down with a huff ... Taehyung saw this and happily went inside the kitchen to bring the blueberry tart he made which was placed on the countertop...he served a portion it on a plate and gave it to Jungkook who was still looking at him without any expression ...
He came back with his own plate and sat down on the chair infront of Jungkook ...

"Please eat .." Taehyung said and Jungkook started eating with a sigh ...
He ate the first bite and while chewing he noticed how Taehyung was looking at him with big eyes anticipating jungkook's reaction ...Jungkook raised his eyebrows at him ...

"What ?why are you looking at me like that ?" Jungkook asked , his face still void of any emotions ...

"How is it ? Did you like it?" Taehyung asked with excitement and also some nervousness ...Jungkook was a bit taken aback because of his excited face but he didn't let it show in his face ...

"Hmm ...it's fine.." Jungkook said and continued eating .. Taehyung was a bit sad because of the plain answer but he knew that he was in no place to complain ...he himself brought it upon himself ...
So he stayed quite after nodding his head ...he was also feeling scared and restless about the entire press meet that is tomorrow..he indeed doubted Jungkook for stealing his project and behaved very irrationaly with him but after seeing how Jungkook confidently told him that he will prove that he was innocent , he knew that Jungkook was not the culprit ...his mind was screaming at him for apologising to the younger but his ego didn't allow him to do that ...indeed he said sorry when Jungkook was under a panic attack but that was just because of the flow of the moment ...he didn't even realise that he said that word ...

He was thinking about what will happen once the truth will be out and how he will face Jungkook when he heard the younger coughing ...he looked towards him and found him coughing violently while pouring himself a glass of water ...
Taehyung got up from his chair and went towards him and started to pat his back and helped him in drinking water....
After some seconds, Jungkook stopped coughing but then he started to scratch his neck and collarbones a little too harshly ...

"Jungkook what happened? Are you ok ? Hey hey . .don't scratch yourself so much...you are hurting yourself... Jungkook tell me , what's wrong ...??" Taehyung asked in a worried tone still trying to stop Jungkook from scratching himself ...he removed Jungkook hands from his neck and thats when he saw some red blotches all over jungkook's neck ...

"OMG Jungkook what are these ? What is even happening to you ? please tell me Jungkook ..." Taehyung gasped and said while looking at his neck which had now turned red because of the red spots and the harsh scratching ...

"D.did you ...did you put ...w.walnuts in this ? " Jungkook asked while huffing and taking deep breathes ...he was controlling himself not to peel his skin off ...it was just so itchy and painful ...

"Y.yes ...the crust is made of oatmeal and walnuts ...but w.why are you asking me that .? Is it .. something related to .y.your condition ?" Taehyung asked while stuttering ...he was scared of jungkook's condition...

Jungkook just scoffed dryly and looked up at Taehyung with a glare ...

"So much for being a caring husband ..tch ..." Jungkook said and got up from his chair while pushing Taehyung's hands off him and practically ran towards his room ... Taehyung was just standing there still looking towards the stairs where Jungkook was just a second ago ...he couldn't understand what he did wrong again ...

'what just happened? Was it because of the dessert ? But he said he liked it ...
Will he be ok ? He was not looking in a good condition ...' Taehyung thought to himself and sighed ...
He looked at jungkook's plate and saw that Jungkook only ate half of the cake ...he ruffled his hair in frustration and just went upstairs to his room ...it was too much for him to take ...moreover the tension for tomorrow is eating him up ...

On the other side Jungkook was frantically searching his room ...his drawers,his closet , everywhere...but he didn't find the thing he is searching for ...he took his handbag and flipped it ,making all of his things fall out but he didn't care ...he searched through his things but still he didn't that particular thing ...he was again coughing heavily and taking deep breaths while scratching his neck and collarbones ...
He was thinking about where he kept it when he suddenly remembered that he didn't check the bathroom...he ran to the bathroom and opened the cabinet and thankfully he found it there ...it was his pills ...the pills for his allergy ...Jungkook is highly allergic to walnuts and pollen ...his pollen allergy is not that bad because he just starts sneezing and coughing if he comes in contact with it but his walnut allergy is severe ..even a little bit of walnut consumption can harm him way seriously, it can even lead to hospitalisation or even worse , death ..once,Jungkook had to stay in the hospital for two days when he ate a piece of walnut unknowingly and then his doctor gave him this medicine and asked him to always keep it with him and thanks to the devil that he really had them today ...

He hurriedly took the pills and gulped two of them down after coming back to his room ...he laid down in the bed while sprawling his limbs on it and relaxed when he slowly felt the pain and itchiness going away ...
He closed his eyes and his mind travelled back to Taehyung ...a bitter smile came on face as he scoffed ...

"It's been three and a half months or maybe more that we got married and yet you don't know about my allergies...even Martha and yeonjun know about it and then you act like you care for me ..tsk , pathetic ..." Jungkook whispered under his breath and unknowingly a drop of tear fell from his right eyes but he wiped it quickly ...

'no ..not these tears again Jungkook ...it will all be over after tomorrow ..you will get out of here and live your life like before from tomorrow ..so don't even dare to cry...you are not weak ' Jungkook said to himself and got up from the bed ..he took out his nightsuit from the closet and changed into them before going inside the silk covers and closed his eyes, soon falling into deep slumber ignoring the sting he was feeling on his neck ...
