Three.
"You are a seriously loyal piece of outerwear," Tony talked to the cloak, "Yeah- uh speaking of loyalty.
Peter dropped down from the ceiling and Elena walked over, Tony's moth fell agape of fence written all over his face.
"What the-" Tony started, "Look, I know what you're gonna say-"
"You should not be here." Tony stated, "either of you."
"I was gonna go home." Peter started, "I do not wanna hear it." Tony shook his head.
"But it was such a long way down and I just thought about you and kinda stuck to the side of the ship."
"And now I gotta hear it." Tony sighed.
"And this suit is ridiculously intuitive by the way," Peter continued, "Damn it." Tony muttered.
"So if anything it's kind of your fault that I'm here."
Elena looked at him eyebrows raised, "What did you just say?" Tony asked.
"I take that back." Peter spoke quickly, "And..and now I'm here in space."
"Yeah right where I didn't want you to be." Tony stated, "This isn't Coney Island, this isn't a field trip. This is a one way ticket."
"You hear me? Don't pretend you thought this through." Tony stated, "I did think this through." Peter argued.
"You could not have possibly thought this through."
"You can't be a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man if there's no neighborhood." Peter stated, "okay...that didn't really make sense, yt you know what I'm trying to say."
"What about you?" Tony asked turning towards Elena, "Tony, I am a grown ass adult, you don't make my decisions for me."
"Come on. We got a situation."
"See him, down there, he's in trouble. What's your plan?"
"Okay, ok, ok." Peter spoke to himself softly, before standing up, "Okay, you ever see this really old movie Aliens?"
"I feel like I need to introduce myself." Elena stated, "I'm Elena Reyes, daughter of the sun... most people call me Ellie."
"Daughter of the sun?" Tony asked, "I don't know ask the Russians." Elena shrugged.
"Right, I'm Peter Parker. Spider-Man."
"Cool. Let's save the wizard's ass." Elena nodded.
Tony hopped down with a thud, and the alien turned towards him, "could end your friend's life in an instant."
"Yeah, I gotta tell you he's not really my friend. Saving his life is more of a professional courtesy." Tony stated.
The alien began floating stuff towards him, "You've saved nothing. Your powers are inconsequential compared to mine."
"Yeah, but the kid's seen more movies." Tony stated blasting a hole in the wall, causing the alien to fly through it. Stephen was also swept away by the vacuumed air, but Peter kept forward wrapping a Webb around him and Tony sealed up the hole.
"Good work, kid." Elena smiled, holding her hand up for a high five, "Thanks Ellie."
"We gotta turn the ship around," Stephen began, standing up. "Yeah," Tony scoffed, "Now he wants to run. Great plan."
"No I want to protect the stone." Stephen argued, "And I want you to thank me. Go ahead. I'm listening."
"For what? Nearly blasting me into space?" Stephen asked, "who just saved your magical ass? Me."
"Technically, Peter." Elena stated, "Elena." Tony warned, "Sorry."
"I seriously don't know how you fit your head into that helmet." Stephen shook his head.
"Admit it you should've ducked out when I told you." Tony paced, "I tried to bench you. You refused."
"Unlike everyone else in your life, I don't work for you." Strange stated, "Hey! I don't work for him." Elena argued.
"And due to that fact, we're now in a flying doughnut, billions of miles from Earth with no backup." Tony stated.
"We're back up." Peter stated, "No, you're stowaways."
"The adults are talking." Tony stated, "More like arguing. We need a plan, and a good one. I am not dying in space. I have a family to get back to, in fact I should be on a plane too St Petersburg right now, but instead I am in a damn spaceship cause I wasn't going to go back home when you need my help."
"I'm sorry, I'm confused as to the relationship here...what is he? Your ward?" Stephen asked, "No. I'm Peter by the way."
"Doctor Strange." Stephen nodded, "Oh You're using our made up names...I'm Spider-Man then."
"And she's the daughter of the sun." He pointed to Elena.
"This ship is self-correcting its course. Things on auto-pilot." Tony stated, "Can we control it?" Stephen asked, "Fly us home?"
When Tony didn't respond Elena spoke up, "Tony?"
"Yeah?" He asked, "Can you get us home?"
"Yeah, I heard you." Tony stated, "I'm thinking, I'm not so sure we should."
"какие?" Elena looked up, (Translation: What?)
"Under no circumstances can we bring the Time Stone to Thanos." Stephen spoke, "I don't think you quite understand what's at stake here."
"What? No. It's you who doesn't understand." Tony crossed the room quickly standing inches away from Stephen now, "Thanos has been inside my head for six years. Since he sent an army to New York and now he's back."
"And I don't know what to do....so I am not so sure if it's a better plan to fight him on our turf or his..." Tony paused, "But you saw, what they did. What they can do."
"At least on his turf, he's not expecting it. So I say we take the fight to him. Doctor. Do you concur?"
"All right, Stark. We go to him." He paused, "But you have to understand, if it comes to saving any of you...or the Time Stone. I will not hesitate to let you die. I can't because the universe depends on it."
"Nice. Good moral compass." Tony nodded taking a few steps away and walking towards Peter, "All right kid, You're an Avenger now." He dubbed.
"Tony," Elena said softly, "Yeah?"
"I know what it's like." She started, and he looked at her curiously, "To have someone...or something stuck in your head. I know how it can mess with you."
"I don't-" Tony started to argue, "I may not have had an alien god, or titan, or whatever stuck in my head, but I was constantly in a battle with myself. When I was sixteen I almost jumped off my foster parent's roof. It gets better...one day it gets better."
"Thanks, Ellie." He said, "Yeah," she patted his shoulder, "It's time to be heroes I guess."
