Zero's POV:

I get out of bed and hear Frank saying the exact same lines as before. We really are trapped in a time loop. I pull the Argonaut book and open the hidden passage. I looked around the room for the postcard and saw it on the map of Orario.

Zero: How'd I miss that?

I grabbed the postcard and looked around it until I found the code for the tunnels and a message.

Zero: LPP will break the loop. Follow Colt and One for this. Blackburn is smarter than the others, but his sadism is his weakness. Take advantage and proceed with caution.

I grabbed my swords and Override Device again, which makes sense since I got sent to the point where I didn't have them. I got into the teleporter again and went to the beach early. I fall face-first into the sand once again and I pull my head up to see Colt.

Colt: And I thought I was the only one starting my day with a face full of sand.

Zero: Shut up. Let's get your Override Device.

I say as I pull out mine.

Colt: You got an override device. I got a Hackamajig. And don't start by saying it's stupid because I literally forgot its actual name.

Zero: Let's just break this stupid loop.

Colt: Yeah.

We go to Colt's hideout and he grabs his hacking device and the postcard his other self told him about.

Colt: Updaam. Alright.

Zero: I had a similar note. It said to look there for something called the LPP.

Colt: LPP? Sounds powerful.

Colt turns on his Hackamajig. Our devices pick up a signal.

Blackburn: You three still going to break the loop?

Julianna: Cause you're never, EVER, going to break the loop. It's absolutely impossible.

Colt: You want us to break it, you don't want us to break it.

Zero: What do you two want from us!?

Julianna: We want you... to not suck.

Blackburn: I prefer to have rivals rather than prey.

Zero: Too bad! We're getting out of this place.

Colt: Yeah! I'm done! With you. And all of this. It ends. Today!

Julianna: You don't even know where to start:

Blackburn: Don't underestimate them, baby girl.

Julianna: Fuck off old man!

Zero: Let's just go.

Colt: Don't need to tell me twice.

I punch in the tunnel access code and the two of us walk through it. Blackburn makes an announcement.

Blackburn: Good Morning Aeon Program. Colt, Zero, and One have shifted their goals to breaking the loop. Be on high alert and kill them with extreme prejudice.

Julianna: Blackburn, stay the fuck away from my intercom! The morning announcements are mine!

Colt: Yeah, looks like those two aren't going to be working together for this.

Zero: Let's get to Updaam quick.

Colt: And let's get more ammo on the way.

I see several grenades on a shelf and grab one of them.

Zero: Strelak Sapper Charge. Three configuration explosive.

Colt: How do you know that?

Zero: I fear we've been doing this far longer than two days.

We come across a door with a glowing piece of metal that attaches itself to Colt's arm. The two of us travel through the tunnels until we bump into One.

Zero: Ow!

Colt: FUCK!

One: It appears you two have made it.

Zero: Am I bleeding?

One: Only a little.

Colt: Fuck! You made of iron or something?

One: I think you should be asking what the LPP is.

Zero: Found a note?

One: Had to be more than just maps and pictures.

Colt: So we all want off this Island. Let's just get that LPP

We continue making our way to Updaam and find the entrance to it.

Julianna: I asked you to do something different Colt! And you decide to go to fucking Updaam!?

Colt: How do you know where I am?

Julianna: The Radio Tower tracks your position. Though Blackburn is the only one that can sense where those two are located. Knew we shouldn't have brought Tsurugi Industries into this. Always trying to one-up us.

Blackburn: Friendly tip, Dorsey Square is just down the road, cliffside.

Julianna: Don't butt in without permission, Dickhead! Last reminder, everyone recognizes you guys. Especially your clothing. You got odd tastes.

Colt: I like this Jacket.

One: I love my dress. It's so beautiful.

Zero: Let's get to Colt's flat.

We enter Updaam and see it's a small town on this island.

We see a few Eternalists throwing rocks and conversing with each other near the edge of the cliff.

Eternalists: So what do you think of One and Zero?

Eternalist 1: I think they suck because they fail to see how awesome the loop is. A day and party where we can do whatever the fuck we want without consequences.

Eternalist 2: I don't think it's wise to insult them. They were deemed the top enforcers for good reason

Eternalist 1: Oh please, what could those bastards possibly do?

Colt stabs an Eternalist with his machete. I bisect Eternalist 2. One claws Eternalist 2 up and removes most of her skin. The Eternalist blood sprays all over them and the corpse falls down.

Colt: Bitch, I just said I liked this jacket!

Zero: It'll be cleaned in the next loop.

The three of us finally made our way to Colt's flat and found a safe, which is locked and needed a code.

Colt: Fuck!

Zero: Of course, it needs a code.

One: Before you two cry, look at what I found on the terminal alongside this picture. Someone you knew Colt?

Colt: What are you talking about?

One hands Colt a picture of a woman who has a "Pony" patch on her clothes.

Colt: Wow. Pretty.

One: Anyway, this Loop has a control center. The LLP might be there.

Zero: Where is it?

One: In this place called "The Complex".

Colt: Then that's where we're heading. Let's go.

An alarm blares and we hear Eternalist approaching.

Zero: Let's bounce!

The three of us leave as the Eternalists surround the apartment. The three of us head back into the tunnels and make our way to the complex. We noticed how long the tunnels were and were lucky that no one installed security in them.

One: Wow. How far do these tunnels stretch?

Colt: This whole place is connected by these tunnels. By the way Zero, what's Orario?

Zero: It's apparently a massive city connected to the island, but not through the tunnel systems. The maps in my room say there's an entrance but-

Colt: It's heavily guarded? Except for the tunnels that run underneath it?

Zero: Bingo.

Colt: Looks like this is going to be a long loop.

We finally make it to the complex and I punch in the code to enter the area. Julianna cuts in and talks with Colt.

Julianna: Never really liked that apartment. And from the looks of it, you didn't either. Why is that?

Colt: You gonna call me like this all the time, Julie?

Julianna: Jul-i-an-na.

Colt: I give approximately zero fucks about what you call yourself.

Julianna: But you did. Once. And so did they. We all used to be friends, Colt.

Zero: Well I guess that didn't work out well.

Julianna: Like you have a right to say that, Zero.

One: Just stay out of our way. Unless you want to be at the receiving end of dying.

Julianna: Just because I'm outnumbered, doesn't mean you guys will always win. Blackburn enjoys the hunt as well. He literally taught you and Zero everything you know.

Colt: Friends don't tell everyone to kill us.

Julianna: But I'm the only one talking to you all. So what does that tell you?

Julianna hangs up.

Colt: That we hang out with the wrong people! Alright. Control Center. Shut it down.

One punches in the tunnel code and we enter the complex.

There is an explosion that catches the attention of the Eternalists. We use the chance to sneak past them and head to the control center. There are four Eternalists who have no interest in moving any time soon. So I jump down and assassinate the two below me, while Colt and One deal with the others before they can shoot.

One: Why do the bodies disappear when you kill them?

Zero: Must be because of the loop. I guess it's how they reset.

We go into the Control center and find a projector. We activate the projector and it plays a recording of Egor Serling who gives information on where the LPP is before cutting out.

One: Fristand Rock. Another long walk.

Colt: Let's just head there. Before Julianna and Blackburn get any ideas.

The three of us leave the Control Center and return to the tunnels. We ended up having a long walk to Fristand Rock. After Colt and Julianna have their conversation over the radio. We enter the area and see the heavy snow falling.

Zero: It's snowing?

One: Pretty.

Colt: Something tells me we ain't on a tropical island.

We travel along the path in front of us and see several vehicles crashed into things. We also see several drunk Eternalists having fun without a care in the world. Me and One eliminate them and leave the area full of smears.

We see a small building on the pier ahead of us. We continued making our way toward it. We came across posters that confirmed Julianna and Blackburn's claims about Me and One being Enforcers and Colt being Captain. After dealing with the Eteranlists surrounding it, I use my override device to unlock the doors.

Colt: Okay. LPP. Where's the LPP?

We looked around but only found notes and letters. But one did catch my attention.

Zero: Colt. I found where it is.

Colt and Zero get next to me and see that the paper I was holding. It was a confirmation that Colt made the LPP, that it's in Updaam and even the code that Colt chose for it.

One: Colt, you made the LPP?

Colt: I did. Which means, it's in my flat, back in fucking Updaam.

Colt groans in disbelief.

Zero: Well let's get there fast.

The three of us ran back to the tunnels and entered it. We took a short break before returning to Updaam, where a huge party was taking place. We hear Frank talking on the speakers and lighting up a dazzling fireworks show. We return to Colt's apartment and see that it's been raided. The safe is open and the LPP is gone, with only a note from Julianna remaining.

One: Oh no.

Zero: Damn.

Colt: AARRRGGGHHH! Julianna!

Julianna contacts Colt through his radio.

Julianna: You don't call me. I call you.

Colt: Where's my LPP?

One: Yours? I thought we were sharing.

Zero: One, not now.

Julianna reveals she's locked down the tunnels and is going to kill us herself before cutting off.

One: Looks like we've got company.

We hear footsteps on the roof and I dash out of the apartment to draw them out. Julianna fires at me but misses. Colt fires his LIMP-10 at her and she gets out of the way. I kick Julianna off the roof and Colt puts her down with a machete through her neck.

Colt: Hah! Got ya now! Woo! That felt great. Payback bitch.

We all unlocked the tunnels and returned to them. I'm still disappointed that we didn't get to the LPP in time.

Zero: We don't know what she did with the LPP.

Colt: Yeah. It's either burnt or in the sea.

One: This is a time loop, the whole day will reset.

Zero: Which means, the LPP will still be in the safe in the morning.

Colt: Worth a shot. So do we kill ourselves or...

Zero: Let's see how long until the Loop naturally resets. Interested in roommates.

Colt: I do have a few beers and sodas at my other place.

One: I'll be fine with soda.

Zero: Me too.

Colt: Heh. More for me.

Zero: Guys, be ready for when the loop resets. Because we'll get sent back to the point before we had our weapons.

Colt: Damn. Well, at least I got my LIMP at the beach.

One: And I'm never without my trusty gauntlets.

Zero: Okay. Let's relax for a bit.

The three of us go to Colt's safehouse and relaxed for a bit. Midnight strikes and the Loop resets to the beginning of the day. I wake up in my room and hear the same damn radio. However, I realized something greatly beneficial.

Zero: Same day, Same events. Which means everything will repeat the exact same way every loop. Better get to the LPP and keep it safe from Julianna and Blackburn.

I go to the hidden room and realize that my gear is in the same spot as before. I Use the teleporter to go to Updaam and go to Colt's Flat. I arrive there and see that it is untouched. I find a bunch of sodas and sit down as I wait for One and Colt.

One appears and maintains her teasing personality.

One: You're drinking soda without me?

Zero: I just drank one. There's still plenty for you.

One: Thank you, Zero.

One grabbed a soda and we sat down on the couch. After a little while, Colt finally arrived.

One: What took you so long?

Colt: I don't have a fancy teleporter in my room.

Zero: Alright, let's open this thing.

Colt: Alright! LPP! Show me something good!

I punch in the safe's code and it reveals a notebook titled "Loop Preservation Protocol".

Colt: That is... not what I wanted.

Zero: Loop Preservation Protocol.

One: So that's what LPP stands for.

I open the book and it reveals the Loop persists unless all Visionaries are dead. It reveals the main spots of eight visionaries while Blackburn and Akira are held up in their strongholds in Orario.

Zero: So the loop can only be broken if all the Visionaries die in a single day.

One starts doing math with her fingers as she tries to figure it out.

One: 10 Visionaries, One day, an island and a massive city. So that's

???: Just as hard as sounds, if not harder.

We turn around to the Voice and see that it's another me that appears. I was bewildered.

Zero: You're... me.

Other Zero: Yep.

Colt: Alright, so what's the plan? Ten targets, one day. We'll need more USEs if we want to take the island in a Colt, Zero, and One-storm.

Other Zero: Not going to work. Look, there are thousands of all of us. But none of us have gotten it right.

One: Well that's a bummer.

Other Zero: Which is why your guys have to be better than all of us. So shooting everything won't work. You need to be smart! It's the only way to properly fix all this. And you two.

The Other Zero gestures to me and One.

Other Zero: Your memories are going to come back, and you're not going to like them. But getting out of this prison is the only thing that matters.

One: I don't care much about my past, but how do you expect us to end the loop if we can't just kill all of them immediately? Sounds like you guys are giving the three of us an impossible task.

Other Zero: The Visionaries, their hobbies, desires, social lives, they're all connected. Knowledge is literally power in this God damn loop. But for now, head to Wenjie's lab. Figure out Residuum. It'll make your lives easier. Got to go now. Free us all.

The Other Zero disappears.

Zero: Colt. One.

Colt and One look at me. I give them a side-eye view.

Zero: No matter what it takes... We're going to break this loop!
