The following days have been okay...
But something just never leaves me!
How I'm the only one freeking out about Kanata's disappeance!?

Even secretly at times, I ask other student's about it... And the ignore the question!
I'm no L. But, I can tell they had a bit of fear in there eyes!
There's something happening right under my nose and I know it!
I just have to find the evedence....

Well, if I'm going to start. I'm going to have to build my way up!
Starting with the one thing I know how to do...

|| Before School ||

"Umm? Kaori, what are you doing?" Asked my snow haired friend, sitting on a my bed as my side faced him. I was sitting on my desk chair, staring blankly at the wall infront of me.

Always keep in mind, everyone's a suspect!

I immediately turn to acting seriously, asking bluntly and kinda coldly " Say, Haru. If that really is your name... What where you doing last thursday before school?"

"Well L. I was with you wasn't I?" He rolled his cold blue eyes, looking me straight in the eyes.

"Now, you understand why I have to do this don't you? Well no time to waist..."

I swiftly slam my hands on the table making a hard slam and causing him to flinch,

"Now Haru? What did you think about Kanata, hmm? When he was around... Also, on that same note, have you been noticing something different per-say, about the students attending our school?∼"

He looked slightly uncomfortable,
So he is hiding something, Eh?

"Well?" I asked bluntly

"So you want to know what happened to him? You should of just asked, I don't know. And you know I know the pain you felt when you lost him, you didn't come to school for forever. And trust me as your best friend, that if I could bring him back I would. And to answer your questions, before Kanata disappeared, I thought of him as a good friend. No more, no less. And for the students at our school. I only really hang out with you, Nori and Yukki so, I don't really talk to them."

He told me in detail, I looked into his eyes... And they told me the truth.
He doesn't have anything do do with the event.

"Okay, well. Let's start walking, shall we?" I asked, cheerfully as I usually do. But with an edge.

|| Lunch Break ||

"Hay Kao! Whazzup?" Nori asked, cheerfully.... Strange, since when as she been so... Fresh!?

Immediately taken back by her hello, I swiftly regain posture and start talking.

"Hey Nori... Do you know what you where doing last Tuesday? Seen, Kanata by chance?" I ask suspiciously, eyeing her coldly.

She immediately looked at me, surprised for some reason...
She peered at me, eyes wide like China plates...

My question, why?

"Is this about Kanata's disappeance? Well, I was late to school. If you're going to ask why, it's because I got up late. And Yukki came over to walk with me. Unfortunately, when he came I was unable to get to the door. So he left thinking I left before him. Then on I got a slice of toast and ran off to school." She replied, cooly and smoothly.

"So you walked alone?"

"Of course."

I wonder, with so many people not caring about his disappearance.
Do they really care about him?

I know he was mean to them before but...
People change! And he's one of them...

He changed, for the better. And became a good person!
I know he's a good person.

Is... He...?

It... It doesn't matter!...
I should just ask the last person...

|| Ringggggg! ||

"Well, see you at the end of the day!" She said, skipping along to class... But... With some sort of... Paranoia...

"Bye..." I responded back. Subtle and quiet... It was unlike me to say the least, but I couldn't help the unsurness and paranoia that rushed in my veins. I think something's off... But, I can't exactly tell what! But, whatever it is... It don't think it's really good.

|| After school. ||

"Hey! Yukki!" I yelled for the brown haired male walking in the direction I presume is is house is located.

"Hmm? Kaori? What are you doing here? I thought you would be walking with Haru in the other direction?" He asked as he looked at me weirdly... But, maybe... Just a little... Unexpectedly...

"Yeah... I told him he could walk without me. Because what I'm doing now is more important." I told him seriously, as I looked him in the eyes.

"Sure? So, what's the thing you need to do that's more important than your best friend?" He asked... But, it wasn't really asked... His tone was more so, jugging... But, he wasn't directly jugging me. But, my actions... And, I can't forget his stare... It scared me to be honest... In that moment I felt as if I should run, hide or even scream. But, I didn't. I stood there and let his judgement pass through and his glaire perce me. I stood strong and tall. And I'm not letting small things like those take me down.

" Y-yukki. What where you doing last Tuesday before school?" I asked, standing there, looking him in the yes and a bead of sweat rolled down my face.

"May what ever do you mean? It was like every other day. I went to Nori's house and walked to school." He said.

But... Nori said she walked alone...

"Okay... Where you late for school?" I stared in his eyes.

"Yes. Because, I don't really care if I was late or not." He glaired back at my response.

"... Did you see Kanata on your way to school?" I asked. Feeling my confidence break apart.

He glaired in response. An agressive Glaire, targeted at me.

"No. Now, I have to get home. Bye" he replied, but, still iterated from all the questions.

"Could you at least stay for one more question?" I asked as he turned around and nodded as a reply.
