Chapter ⌘ Five

Ps: Can you guys just let me explain?🙄 Ily😘

after
Adrien

He couldn't take it anymore. He had to tell someone. And he couldn't think of anyone else besides his best friend, Nino.

Right after Marinette's outburst, he walked to Nino's house. Letting the cold air rub his skin as he walked on the sidewalk. Thinking and wishing he could do something to change his past, and therefore his future too.

Seconds later, Adrien arrived. He rang the door bell once, swinging his feet as he waited.

"Adrien?" Alya asked more surprised than confused.

"Is Nino home?" He asked with his voice trembling.

"No but come in, come in."  Alya said softly. Guiding him to the couch. "I'll go get some coffee. I'll be right back okay?"

He nodded slowly.

A couple of minutes later, Alya came with two mugs of coffee and sat besides him. From the look of  Adrien's face, She already knew it was bad.

"What's going on?"

He sighed but started.

"When I was in America my dad arranged me
a girlfriend. Mostly because he was an asshole and apparently it wasn't enough that he dragged me out my home. But anyway, I was mad at him, I hated the idea. And to show that to my father, I treated the girl like shit. I didn't want to, but I was blinded by my father's unfairness at the time." He took a shaky breath. And a sip of coffee as Alya's gaze pierced the side of his head.

"My father at first, didn't give three craps. But then he started to get the idea. It was all working out great, the girl was getting tired and my father too. I was so close...But then, I had to go and screw everything up.. and get her pregnant." He placed the mug down. Looking at the steam that escaped and disappeared from the mug.

Alya allowed her hands to fly to her mouth.

"I was going crazy. I blamed her for everything, yelled her, didn't care for her at all. I was a complete asshole." His eyes started to tear up, "She gave birth, I didn't even show at the hospital or at the house. I had to go back eventually, but every night I left to get drunk out of my mind. All because I was still in love with Marinette. All because I knew, I-I would never see her a-again."

He wipe away a stray tear.

"One night I was out with Megan, my friend from over there. We were having dinner, well dinner meaning Megan was yelling at me to stop being an asshole to my girlfriend, Grace.
My phone rang...I would never forget that precise moment. And more importantly, I'll never forgive myself.

...Grace died in a car crash that night."

"Oh Adrien," Alya cleaned the tears that rolled without control down Adrien's cheeks and pulled him into a hug.

"And that's not it! The baby survived, Megan told and told me to keep it. That I had already done so much damaged. That it was my chance to fix everything and what did I do? I gave him up for adoption."

Alya's hug got tighter, more tears ran. But some weight was lifted off his shoulders by just saying this to someone. Adrien nuzzled his face on Alya's neck, needing the comfort she was providing. It meant nothing.

"Adrien I want you to know, that its not your fault. I want you to take that out of your head. Did you made some stupid decisions? Yes, definitely. But there's nothing that can't be solved. Were you an asshole? Yes. But, again, you can still fix this. Don't keep mourning over Grace, go and find what's left of Grace."

Everything became a bit more clear to him. But there were some things that needed to be fixed first.

Manon

"It's nice to meet you Megan." Manon smiled, wanting to be polite and shake her hand but couldn't since Zelie was clinging to her like a life line.

"Likewise." Megan smiled back.

"Yeah, hi." Zelie groaned. Letting go of
Manon, rubbing the side of her head quite aggressively. "It freaking hurts." She mumbled.

"Don't mind her ma'am. She's usually a very friendly person, she's just mad I beat her,
Again." Manon grinned, bumping Zelie's side with her elbow.

"Shut up!" Zelie complained. "You did not beat me! The wall did. It's very different!"

"Yeah, Yeah. Whatever." Manon smiled
cheekily but turned her attention back to Megan and Alex.

"Well guys, it was nice to meet you. I hope my baby right here," Megan lightly punched twice Alex's shoulders, "see you guys again. He's new here."

Alex threw her an annoyed looked.

"Oh, welcome to the city! And I'm sure we'll see each other again." Manon smiled and waved goodbye. Dragging Zelie with her. "C'mon, we are going to be late to class sheepy."

"Nooo. I don't wanna go back! We don't have to. Let's live our life, they can't hold us of back!"

"They can't but you know who can? Aunt Alya."

"You know what? I changed my mind. Education is very important." Zelie laughed nervously.

"Uh um, that's what I thought."

Then, they fell into a comfortable silence. Each one thinking, processing the encounter. At least that's what Manon was doing. God knows what was Zelie thinking.

So many questions ran through her mind.
"Why on earth did Alex looked like...?"
"Megan? That names sounds familiar."
"Is Megan-"

"Hey! Wait up!"  The recognizable voice yelled.

Manon and Zelie turned around so fast their heads almost spun off.

"Do you guys know where is Collège Françoise Dupont?" Alex asked breathless.

Bonjour mes chatons!
Ça va bien?

Umm, that's what I thought.... AFTER THE FREAKING LAST EPISODE I AM LIKE THAT TOO. WHY MUST YOU DO THIS TO US THOMAS? WHY? WHYY?

Anyway, I'm sorry for the boring chapter. I just had to get part of the explanation out  and the "meeting" before you guys go crazy. ADRIEN IS NOT CHEATING. I REPEAT, ADRIEN IS NOT CHEATING (*coughs* Its_Winter_Bruh *coughs*) so don't lose you shiz just yet.

I promised next chapter will be when things start to spice up. Jealousy, possessiveness, fights, crying and all that sweet torture.

Have a wonderful and blessed week!
Pfft, how am I kidding? We are all gonna die.

I LOVE YOUUU
Au revoir! 🍃
