What the Heck?

Skeppy opened his eyes blinking rapidly as the sunlight beamed down on him. Questions buzzed in his head as he looked around the unfamiliar surroundings, he was now lying in. The sky was a light blue speckled with soft clouds. Then he got up with some effort dusting himself of the luscious green grass. That's when he noticed the clothes he was wearing. He wore a bright blue hoodie, blue jeans and some black and white sneakers. He squinted in the day light but soon noticed something moving in the trees in front of him. Cautiously he backed away before a person tumbled through the undergrowth. The guy wore a red cloak with white fluff bordering the edges. The newcomer bore a golden crown and looked as confused as Skeppy felt.

"Hello?" Skeppy moved closer to the person not feeling like they could harm him.

"Hi?" the guy muttered. That's when it hit Skeppy. The voice was WAY too familiar.

"Technoblade?!" Skeppy quickened his pace to his friend.

"Wait. Wait! Skeppy!" Techno hurried over to the fluffy haired boy.

"What the heck?" Skeppy whispered when they were standing closer. "What is this?"

"I have absolutely no clue," Techno responded looking around the place wide eyed. "Hold on..."

"Look!" Skeppy interrupted him and pointed to where he had just noticed a sign on a tree. He hurried over with techno following. Skeppy grabbed the note quickly. Skeppy held the note in his two hands preparing to read it out for them both.

"Welcome to Minecraft! This is a little game called The Final Mission. In this game all players selected will have a chance to finish the ACTUAL boss. Here's how this all works. Random Minecraft players have been transported into Minecraft and you all must work together to make it out of the game. There are three ways this could end for you all. Everyone dies and therefore you are dead in the real world as well. You could all fail to do the mission and have to remain in Minecraft forever. Or you could all manage to defeat the game and go free. All of you must treat your lives as it's your only because it is. On the back you will find the skins of all your official teammates. Good luck and hopefully you won't end up like all the mobs in Minecraft."

Skeppy and Techno looked up at each other in apprehension. Skeppy then flipped over the page scanning for his friends. The list was made up of six people:

Skeppy

Technoblade

Zelkam

Dream

Spifey

A6D

Badboyhalo

Now Skeppy's uneasiness rose quickly seeing all his friends on the list. Techno took the paper and folded it up seeing Skeppy's face getting more worried by the second.

"Come on," Techno comforted the fluffy haired boy. "They're all very strong and can manage to survive."

"Your right," Skeppy replied not really believing his friend. The two then began to retrieve the regular supplies you would need for Minecraft. It was midday when the two had finally collected all the essential materials they could carry.

"We should climb up some of that mountain," Techno pointed at the towering mountain and then began for the base of it. There was only a little bit of forest between the friends and the mountain, so it wasn't too big of a walk. Skeppy thought it was quite peaceful and beautiful to be seeing Minecraft in a more realistic way. Every little detail of the real world fitted in perfectly. The trees had very strong outlines, the leaves would wave around as if they were dancing and the grass was soft and long. It would have felt like nothing had changed from real life, but something did change. Everyone had good experience with the game so there was this ominous feeling of dread just hanging over their heads. Once they were at the base of the mountain Skeppy looked up to the top. It was quite a mission to bend his head that far up and he didn't manage to see the snow-covered tip he could see from the forest before. The side they had approached was so sheer that Skeppy wanted to ask Techno if they could just stay in the forest. He knew the answer would be that too many mobs would spawn there and something sensible. The fluffy boy watched as his friend put his gear in a bush before rolling up his sleeves. Skeppy did the same reluctantly. Techno climbed to the first slither of land on the mountain and Skeppy watched him continue. He then refocused on what he had to do. He grabbed the closest rock like one of those child climbing things. Then he swung his other arm up to the next one. Techno was already pretty ahead of him seeming to be quite good at this. But come on. What was Techno bad at? Soon Skeppy was getting the hang of climbing up this sheer cliff side. But he started to get cocky and tried to do it quicker. That was a really bad thing to do. After a few fast movements his feet slipped off their platform and he was left dangling off the ledge Techno was standing on. Skeppy inhaled quickly as his hands started to sweat making it harder for him to hold on. Techno quickly noticed his troubles and bent over grabbing Skeppy's arms before hoisting him onto the ledge. The two exchanged quiet murmurs but those words were blown away with the wind.

"Don't look down," Techno smiled nervously at Skeppy. Skeppy being a five-year-old looked anyways. After seeing how far away the ground was, he quickly leant back against the mountain trying not to have a heart attack. Techno then beckoned to him.

"Look!" he pointed to the messy undergrowth where Skeppy could just see the outline of a person. He was too far away to tell who it was, but he didn't care. As long as they were one of his friends and they were well he was happy. Techno then started to climb back down in the same places they had just climbed up. The guy seemed to be struggling more which made Skeppy heave a sigh of sadness. If it was difficult it would sure be difficult for him. This time neither of them slipped and they made it back to the ground safely. Skeppy was mildly dizzy but it soon faded in his excitement to meet up with one of his friends. Techno passed his stone sword back to him and took his stone axe. Skeppy was very eager to meet up with their friend but Techno was anxious. Like he was expecting the person to be injured or in trouble. And he had every right to be nervous. After all, this game would definitely be challenging.
