It's gone... It's all gone. There is no more animals are people to be exact. 'I need to go to the city fast' I said to myself while was eating a poptart. I pack my stuff into my owl bookbag. I checked everywhere to make sure that I didn't leave anything. I got on my bike and left.

Once I got to Chicago, I went to this 5 star hotel and went to the 14th floor. I chose room 227 because it sounded lucky. I unpack my stuff and put them away. My room had a balcony so I went outside. I was in my thoughts for a moment but I snap out of them.

I went inside to take a nap until I heard footsteps. I was scared. I got a kitchen knife and went to the 13th floor. Nobody was there. Maybe I need a nap after this long day. I went upstairs to take my nap. I see my door open. As I walked closer, I see people or a group I must say.

'E-Excuse me,who are you people?' I asked." Oh we are a group that needs a place to stay".' Oh you can in here if you like' I answered with warm smile. There names were Cortez,Jalen,Trinity, Dasha,Brynia, and Mariah. They started to unpack their sleeping bags and chose a spot.

We were going to sleep until u heard knocking on the door. I went to open the door. 4 more people." Can we please stay here, we can't find the keys to the other rooms" ' Sure you can stay' I said. Now they started unpacking their sleeping bags as well. They told me their names. Mark,Jack,Ken,Felix,and Chad.

They fell asleep while I was on the balcony. Something tells me that they are going to help me and hurt me. I can finally trust someone or a group even.
