Warnings: Anxiety (a good amount of it because come on, it's Davey), but it's still really just fluff (kinda minus the beginning)

Third Person POV
"And most guys today that women prize today are just silly gigolos."
Davey sighed. "He's been really secretive and even turned off his location," he informed them. "He leaves in the middle of the night and comes back acting like nothing is different." He rested his chin on his hand, looking at the desk he sat at.
His twin frowned. "I'm sorry, Davey."
"What if it's not cheating?" Katherine, his twin sister's girlfriend, spoke up from the background.
Davey shrugged. "I don't know, Kath," he whispered. "I'd like to believe he isn't cheating. I'm hoping I'm just being paranoid," he told her.
Katherine nodded.
"It's normal to be paranoid," Sarah told her brother. "You've never been through this and Jack has never acted this way before," she stated.
Davey felt tears flood his eyes. "What if I did something wrong?" he whispered, looking heartbroken. "What if Jack doesn't like me anymore?" he asked.
Katherine's eyes widened.
Sarah's eyes widened as well. "No, no, Davey! It's definitely not you," she told him. "Let's be positive." She tried to lighten the mood.
Davey let out a shaky breath, wiping the tears off of his face. "Okay..." he whispered. "Positivity," he reminded himself.
Sarah opened her mouth to speak, but the door to Davey's room opened before she could.
Jack stood in the doorway.
Davey looked over at Jack, him, his sister, and Kath falling silent.
"Hey, guys," Jack greeted, looking awkward. "Can I steal Davey from you?" he asked softly.
Davey's cheeks turned the rosy pink color they always turned when Jack asked that question.
Sarah nodded. "Love you, Dave." She hung up.
"Love you too, Saz," Davey whispered, setting his phone down on the bed. He looked over at Jack. "Why are you so dressed up?" he asked.
Jack smirked at him. "You don't like it?" he asked, his arms crossed.
Davey blushed. "I never said that," he muttered, looking away.
Jack chuckled, gently taking Davey's hand and pulling him up. "You're so cute." He booped his boyfriend's nose.
Davey blinked, trying to process what he just did.
Without any warning, Jack started dragging Davey out of the room.
"Jack!" Davey squeaked as he got pulled along. "I don't have my vest!" he exclaimed.
Jack chuckles. "You'll be fine in just your button up and pants, Davey," he told him, not turning to look at him.
"Or shoes..." Davey muttered defeatedly.
Jack chuckles, stopping and scooping Davey up into his arms bridal style.
Davey's face turned bright red.
Jack chuckles at him. "We don't need shoes," he responded, exiting the building.
Davey hid his face with his hands. The things you do to me, Jack Kelly.
~~ "I understand the reason why you're sentimental, cause so am I." ~~
After a bit of walking, in which Davey's face did not turn any less red, in fact it turned redder because of Jack's flirting, they got to the park.
The park that they had gone to for their first date.
Davey looked around when they get there, almost instantly recognizing the place they had their first date.
He had been so nervous for the first date.
Jack and Davey walked in silence.
A slightly awkward silence.
Davey wanted to speak up, he really did, but his mind was racing and his heart was pounding out of his chest. He was afraid Jack could hear it.
When they finally got to the park, Davey saw a blue picnic blanket on the ground.
The same picnic blanket from their first date was on the ground in front of them.
There was a basket on it.
The same basket Davey knew Jack had borrowed from Hannah.
And since Hannah was his step-mother now, ever since she and Medda got married, they had a good relationship.
Davey turned to face Jack. "Did you do this for me?" he asked, his voice quiet and slightly shocked.
Jack chuckles weakly, rubbing the back of his neck. "You know, you said that on our first date too," he reminded him quietly.
Davey blushed. "I did, didn't I?" he whispered, looking down at the ground.
We're just as awkward as our first date.
Jack looked at his boyfriend. "Wanna sit?" he asked him. "I got Race and Henry's cookies and soda," he informed him.
Davey beamed at him. "This is so cute, thank you, Jack." He wrapped his arms around him.
Jack smiled, hugging him back. "Anything for you, love," he whispered.
Davey blushed.
They pulled away and sat down.
After a few minutes of eating and small talk - quite awkward small talk - Davey looked up at Jack.
Jack raised an eyebrow at him, seeing the questions forming in his mind.
"Why'd you do this?" Davey asked quietly, looking confused.
He looks so cute when he's confus- Jack blushed. Stop it, brain. He mentally smacked himself.
Davey took another bite of his cookie.
They were really good; Henry and Race always made the best stuff, especially when working together and when making sweets and stuff.
Davey didn't let himself eat sugar often, though Jack had gotten to let go more and eat more sugar, but he always liked to eat one of Henry and Race's sweets.
"You can hear dear Mother Nature murmuring low, "let yourself go"."
Jack inhaled slowly to calm himself down.
Davey started getting more anxious every second Jack didn't answer.
Is he doing this so he can break up with m-
"Davey Jacobs," Jack started as he brought his hand up to Davey's cheek and cupped it.
Davey's cheeked turned bright red because of the touch and how close Jack was to him now.
Jack chuckled. "I've known you for five years now, isn't that crazy?" he asked him.
Davey had to force himself to do something that even slightly resembled a nod.
Jack smiled. "Almost five years we've been together," he continued.
Jack was moving agonizingly slow and Davey wasn't sure his anxiety would be able to take it.
"You know what," Jack chuckled, "I had a million things I wanted to say, but I'll just skip through that or else you might have a heart attack before I even get to this," he commented.
Davey breathed out a laugh. "You can feel my heartbeat?" he asked.
Jack chuckled, nodding. Jack gently pulled Davey so he was standing up.
Davey was confused, until Jack bent down on one knee.
Davey's eyes widened.
Jack pulled a box out of his pocket. He opened it and showed Davey.
Davey's cheeks burned.
"Davey Jacobs," Jack started slowly, a soft smile on his face, "I want to be with you for my whole life, through your hardships and through your happiness," he told him. "Will you marry me?" he asked.
Davey momentarily forgot words and then started stuttering and failing at words, until he finally breathed out a 'yes'.
Jack grinned standing up and cupping Davey's cheeks.
What surprised him was that besides cupping Davey's cheeks, he wasn't the one who initiated the kiss this time.
Davey pulled him in for a kiss and Jack gladly kissed back.
They pulled away after a minute.
Davey looked up into Jack's brown eyes. The brown eyes he had fallen in love with. His cheeks were bright red and he was breathing hard, but he didn't care if he looked like a mess. Jack loved him and wasn't breaking up with him.
Jack smiles down at him. He took the ring out of the box and took Davey's hand.
Davey watches as Jack slid the ring onto his finger.
Davey bit his tongue to stop himself from grinning.
Jack smiled when he sees the ring on Davey's finger.
"Which one sounds better?" Davey asked, sounding slightly breathless as he continued to look at the ring. "Davey Kelly or Jack Jacobs?" he questioned.
Jack chuckled. "We'll have to figure that out later," he told him.
Davey nodded. He couldn't take his eyes off of the ring.
Jack wrapped his arms around Davey's waist, pulling him closer.
He was never going to let him go.
He swore it.
Davey rested his head on Jack's chest.
Jack rested his head on top of Davey's.
"I thought you were breaking up with me," Davey admitted quietly, looking out into the dark and empty park.
Jack presses a soft kiss to Davey's head. "Never," he whispered.
Davey blushed, smiling.
"Oh..." something dawned on Jack after a minute. "I forgot to bring the flowers I bought from Ro, Jo, and Mush," Jack muttered.
Davey laughed. "You can show me them later," he told him, looking up at him.
Jack looked down at him and smiles. "Sounds like a plan." He leaned down and gently connects his lips with Davey's again.
Davey smiles against his lips, kissing back.
Blush dusted both boys' cheeks, but they were too lost in the moment to care.
"So please be sweet, my chickadee, and when I kiss you, just say to me, "it's delightful, it's delicious, it's delectable, it's delirious, it's dilemma, it's delimit, it's deluxe, it's de-lovely.""
