July 7, 2007-

That lump could be alive. I have to try to save it. If it can be saved. I grab my warmest jacket, beanie, snow pants, and metal snow boots. Then i unlock the base door and step outside. I put my hoodie on and speed walk to the lump. I knew it! Its a person! I roll them over cuz they were face first in the snow. And i back away almost immediatly. They are dead. Blood covering their chin, eyes dull and grey. I look back curious on how they died. Gutted. Their stomach is teared open their guts spread everywhere half hanging from the body. I turn and puke. Then i hear a deep growl. My heart drops and i turn around to see this shadowy creature on two legs looming over me. I scream and turn back around to run. I scramble to my feet an blindlessly run into the storm. The creature close behind me. I feel like at any second it can grab my foot and pull me to death. I keep running. Im tiring. Fast. I go for as long as i can. But eventually stop. Everywhere i look i see snow. Where's the creature? Where's my base!? My shelter could be anywhere! I start crying warm tears, that bring a good sensation to my cold face. Im cold. Im lost. And something is trying to kill me. I have a right to cry! Then i hear metal clanging behind me. I whip around to see the shadow creature on a shelter. Looks to be a bunker.  If i can get in, ill be safe. The creature lunges and i run to the left as it jumps. I run and start spamming my fists into the side og the bunker yelling for help. Then i scream in pain as something slices into my torso. I look down to see a razor sharp i dint even know what coming out of me! Just below my ribcage. Then i get thrown across the snow awat from safety. I stumble to get up. I only get to my knees cluching my wound when out if nowhere something hits me in the face. Im laying on the ground now, im complete pain. I see the shadow creature more clearly now. It- ahhhh!

As the blood splatters left and right the screams of the victim got lower and lower until eventually. Silence. Sweet sweet silence. You may want to go back and retrace your steps. This is not the right path.
