Chapter 6: I Get A Dream Message

Cody POV

"Holy Styx!" Someone yelled as I saw a dragon made out of stars land on the ground with three figures on it.

"That was awesome!" Yelled one figure as Frank ran over. I quickly followed him over to the three figures.

"Hazel?" Frank asked, running over to the first figure.

"Yeah, it's me." Hazel kissed Frank on the lips.

The second figure just jumped off of the dragon and fell on the ground.

"Never doing that again!" Nico di Angelo said, as he looked like he was gonna throw up.

The third figure jumped off with ease, like she's been doing that her whole life. She spoke a few words to the dragon, then it flew back into the sky. It was Abby.

"Hey Cody." Abby said as I was still looking at the starry dragon.

"You called on Draco." I stated.

"Yeah. Pretty cool, huh? Now let's go eat!"

Abby POV

(Play song now)

That night, I had a dream.

"Hello! Hello! Is this coming through okay?" Asked a voice. I was hearing a song in my head as an image came into view. It was Percy and Annabeth, with dirt all over their faces.

"What song is playing?" I asked, instead of asking the more practical question, like 'Are you guys okay after being missing for two years?' or 'Are you guys in the Underworld? I'm going to find you, don't worry.'

"Geronimo by Sheppard, right?" Percy asked Annabeth, his face messy with grime.

"Yeah. One of the best songs in existence!" Annabeth cheered.

"You guys are in Tarturas, right?" I asked.

Annabeth nodded.

"How do I get down there?"

"Seek out my cousin Magnus in Boston. If you tell him I'm missing, he may help you. If not, try going to Brooklyn and seeking out two friends of ours."

"Sadie and Carter." I said. "So find Magnus Chase first, then try the Kane's."

Annabeth nodded as Percy gave her a look, like she was crazy. "I thought you said that Magnus died?"

"When you go to Magnus, just tell him that you need to go into Helheim. And if that doesn't work and you go to Sadie and Carter, tell them that you need to go in the other direction, past the Lake of Fire. Okay?" Annabeth said, avoiding Percy's question. I nodded. "Also, you may want to dye some of your hair. You're looking so much like me that he might get spooked."

I nodded. "I'm going to rescue you guys. I promise."

"We know you will." Percy said, trying to pat my head, but his hand went through me.

"Hey! What's going on back there!?" Asked a voice. Annabeth and Percy both looked scared.

"Remember that we're at the house of Night! It's close to the belly of the beast! Be careful Abby! May the gods be with you! You have to wake up now!" Annabeth screamed as Geronimo continued playing.

💙

When I woke up again, I was in a silvery tent. A young girl, about twelve years old, was kneeling over me.

"Ah!" I shrieked, backing away, hitting my head on a board of wood.

"Are you alright Abigale?" Asked the girl.

"Yeah, I'm-" I said, then got confused. "Wait a minute! How do you know my name?"

"Because I was there when you were born."

"Wait, Artemis?"

Artemis smiled. "Yes dear child. It's me."

I looked around. "Where's Izzy? And Lucas? And Cody? Oh gods! I don't want Apollo to kill me!"

Artemis laughed. "They are at Camp Jupiter, safe and sound. Zeus made it clear, when it comes to tampering with other immortals, he wants you to do it by yourself."

"Why?"

"Because you probably know more about that person then they do. There is a reason why your name means rejoice. You know that rejoice means joy. You will bring joy to all four groups of people. Now sit." Artemis patted to a spot on the bearskin rug, right in front of her.

"Why?"

"Because, I know that Annabeth asked you to dye some of your hair, but I have a better idea."

"Which is?"

"After I blessed you, some of your hair turned a different color, so I think I can restore it."

"Really?"

"Yes. I believe it was light teal at the very bottom."

"I love teal."

"I know. I know everything about you. I also have some clean clothes for you, and I took the liberty of grabbing these." Artemis handed me four books, Magnus Chase, and the Kane Chronicles. "To help you. I also took the liberty of packing you another backpack, which is full of ambrosia, your phone charger, and other things."

"Thank you."

"And....... Done!" Artemis said as I used the camera on my phone as a reflective surface. Artemis made my hair longer and curlier, plus adding an ombre at the bottom of my hair.

"I love it! Thanks- to be honest, I'm not sure what to call you, since I technically have two mothers." I admitted.

Artemis. "You consider me your mother?"

"Well, I don't consider myself your daughter for nothing! Of course I do," I took a deep breath. "Mom."

Artemis smiled again. She handed me a black and white dress with black ankle boots that had a small heel on them. On top of the stack was a necklace. It was a moon, and it had a small galaxy on it. I picked up the necklace. "This isn't mine."

"I'm giving it to you."

"Why?"

"Because a beautiful girl like you deserves to have something just as beautiful." Artemis responded, clipping the necklace on my neck.

"Thanks. This sorta reminds me of Cody's, except his is the sun."

"Apollo and I promised to give these necklaces to someone important in our lives. Cody was his, and you are mine."

"Really?"

"Yes. Really. Now go get changed. You have a long flight ahead of you."

Cody POV

"Wake up Moonbeam. We have to go to breakfast." I said, shaking Abby.

"Is she awake yet?" Izzy asked. She was kneeling next to Abby's cot that Camp Jupiter gave us.

"No." I responded.

"She should be awake." Lucas responded. "You've doing this for exactly 20 minutes."

I pulled back some of the blanket, expecting to see her head, but instead found a pillow. I lifted up the pillow and saw nothing. Izzy quickly ripped off the rest of the blankets, only to see that she wasn't there.

"Where'd she go?" Lucas asked, then saw something. "She couldn't have gone to far, because her R2D2 backpack is still here.

"Check the backpack!" Izzy cried, setting the backpack on the cot.

"Why?" I asked.

"If she left for an important reason, she could've left a clue to where she was going!" Izzy explained, getting all of the books out of her backpack. Dang! She had a lot of books. Thirteen to be exact.

Izzy paused. "Wait! Four books are missing!"

"How do you know?" Lucas asked.

"Abby told me that she brought every single book series Rick Riordan has ever written." Izzy explained.

"Yeah, so?" Lucas asked.

"So, what book series are missing?" Izzy asked us.

"Egypt and Norse." I said.

"The Kane Chronicles and Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, but same difference." Izzy corrected. "So first, she's headed to Boston. Then she's heading to Brooklyn. East side of the Manhattan River."

"How did you get that from four missing books?" Lucas asked.

"Easy. Her favorite out of all of Riordan's books is Magnus Chase. So somehow, she proved that these book series are real, so she's going to ask them for help, starting with her favorite book. Then she'll go to the East Side of the Manhattan River, because that's where the 21st Nome lies."

"Good work Izzy. We'll get on a plane and fly right to Boston." I said.

"Not gonna work." Izzy reminded us. "I'm the daughter of Poseidon. I can't fly!"

"I have another idea. But first, we have to tell Nico our idea. I believe that we'll need his help."
