I think an angel fell from heaven. Or maybe I'm hallucinating. Because he is utter perfection.

He sat infront of then turned to look at me and flashed a smile, "Hey."

The simple word made me want to melt.

"Hey, I suppose you're new," I said hoping my excitement wasn't showing.

"Yeah. That obvious huh," he said laughing, I noticed a gold tooth just after his canine.

"Well it isn't everyday you see someone like you in my school," I said casually, "The boys here are either nerds or jocks or both."

He laughed, "I'm Josh by the way."

"I'm Ryan, welcome to Lakewood High," I said smiling.

"Well if this school has girls like you I'm happy to be welcomed," Josh said smiling back.

Oh god was he flirting with me!?!

"Well I'm one of a kind," I said, "The girl code follows the boys cider, cheerleader, nerd or both, I'm the only odd one."

"Oh? So we're now two of a kind," he said.

I opened my mouth to speak but was interrupted by the teacher.

"Ok that's enough talk, let's get on with the lesson."

He flashed me one last grin before turning to face the teacher.

I can't believe I actually like a boy for once. I mean I go to dances and stuff but I never really like them, it was more for my social rep.

I saw Riley sitting next to Noah, to be honest I don't know why those two haven't started dating already.

"Hey, I've got something to tell you," I called out.
