I could hear shouting from my dad's study. I could defiantly hear his voice but it was arguing with a much younger, female voice, Riley. Her voice was loud, "I don't care", her voice got louder still, "You treat her like she doesn't have feelings". I've never heard her this angry before. I couldn't her anymore but I could still hear their angry voices. I heard her stomping to the room and banging the door, wow I've really never heard her this angry before.

I heard a knock on the door about half an hour later. "Who is it?", I asked furiously rubbing away my tears, no need for anyone to see me crying.

I saw my dad's head peek around the door. I scowled deeply trying not to scream at him to get out. I folded my arms pointedly looking away from him.

"What do you want", I said icily, "You've already grounded me". He pinched the bridge of his nose, he looked really stressed. "Look I'm sorry ok", I did not just hear him say that. "What was that?", I asked completely losing my stance.

He told me a lot of things but not all of it. He told me he'd made lots of mistakes when he was younger he didn't want me to repeat them. "Then why do you treat me like trash", I asked irritatedly. "I didn't mean for it to seem like that", he said holding my hand but I puked back, "I care to much, I can't lose you like I-". He sighed, what is he hiding. "Look please just don't get in trouble", he said looking at me, "Please". I nodded, I didn't like it but I knew he really cared. "And said standing up, "I think I've spoken enough". I hugged him, he seemed surprised but he hugged me back, "I love you". "I love you too".
