I was biking with my sister to school and she wasn't exactly happy and it was all my fault. "I said I was sorry", I said exasperated, "C'mon it isn't a big deal". "But I've never been late to school before", Riley said then added, "Ever". I rolled my eyes, "Lighten' up a bit come on". "My perfect record ruined", she continued, "All because of my twin sister typical".

Ok I'm sure you're wondering how I made her late its funny you see Ellis, my best friend, and I thought it would be funny if we stole her alarm clock. She didn't wake up early and she freaked out about it earning me a grounding.

"I'm already grounded for it", I said getting irritated, "You're overreacting". "Overreacting, overreacting", she said her voice getting louder, "I'm late for school and my perfect record has been tarnished". Oh boy. "Now my plan is ruined", she continued, "And its not even because I'm sick". "Just paddle the more we talk the later we are", that shut her up.

We got to school just as the bell rang. We hurried inside praying that the teacher was late but ofcourse that was not the case. "Miss and Miss Taylor", I heard the voice of our biology teacher, "I don't suppose you think the class would wait for you". "C'mon teach", I said casually, "Its only like one minute past time". "Well Ryan I'm sure you wouldn't mind if you got just detention", he said before turning to Riley, "I thought you'd be better this is your junior year this is no time to start slacking off". She looked down while I shrugged. "Get to class the both of you have one hour of detention after school". Oh God she isn't going to let me live this down.
