Sonic's first impression of Shadow's home was nice. It was a simple one story house located away from the city and in a nicer place in town where all houses were in a row next to eachother.

Sonic grabbed his briefcase and Shadow opened the door for him with a bow.

"My my, what a gentleman." Sonic chuckled walking out and listening to Shadow slam the door behind him.

"Anything for my queen," Shadow said and wrapped his arm around his waist as they walked to the front door.

"You're gonna love my brother," The ebony hedgehog commented as he took his house key from his pocket with the hand that wasn't side hugging Sonic. "He may seem scary on the outside but he's the funniest guy you'll ever meet. He's a little annoying  but aren't all older siblings?"

"And he's older than you, huh?" Sonic asked, he remembers Shadow mentioning him like once.

Shadow nodded and the door was opened by Shadow's key. He set his briefcase down and Sonic's before yelling: "MEPHY I'M HOOOOME."

Sonic expected to hear running footsteps or him to yell back so when a crystallized hedgehog came from the ground, strange ink pooling around him he screamed at his eyes and mouthless muzzle unintentionally hugging Shadow tighter.

"Ha! That's the exact same reaction my mom made when i was born!" The mouthless hedgehog laughed.

"Mephiles, don't.." Shadow mumbled although that joke made him snort.

"Okay, I'm sorry," Shadow's brother chuckled extending out his large claw and gesturing towards the confused hedgehog. "What's up darling I'm Mephiles, Shadow's brother, you must be Sonette this emo's told me a lot about you."

Sonic took Meph's hand and shook it noticing how cold it was. "Y-yeah that's me," Mephiles gave off a bad vibe, Sonic knew it was bad to judge people by appearance but this guy made him shiver. He seemed nice though so maybe he should give him a chance. "What's Shadow said about me anyway?" Sonic asked out of curiosity.

"How you look like a man that wears dresses for fun." Mephiles replied making Sonic's heart drop and his gaze go to the floor.

"What?!" Shadow screamed. "I didn't say that!"

Mephiles laughed at both boy's reactions, he always teased his brother for the fun of it. It's what all older siblings do anyway. "Ok I'm kidding, he didn't say that, all he says is sappy positive shit about you and his eyes go all googly like this--" Mephiles put his hands together and leaned against them fluttering his eyelids making Shadow grit his teeth, clench his fists and blush all the while Sonic laughed. "Oh look at me I'm Shadow, i love my girlfriend soooo much because I've never dated in my life! The Misty from pokemon body pillow doesn't count!" Mephiles said in a imitating high pitched voice pissing off the younger of the two.

"Shut up! I don't even talk like that and i don't have a fucking body pillow!" Shadow growled.

"Yeah you do, it's under your bed with all your dildos and barbie collections you fag!"

Shadow was about to punch him but that's when the sound of footsteps alarmed them. A familiar pink hedgehog with her quills in a bun wearing a large purple sweater, pyjama shorts and Pikachu slippers walked into the living room with the boys. "What's going on here?" She asked sweetly.

"I'm making fun of Shadow wanna join?" Mephiles asked with a slight chuckle.

"No thanks, and who's that?" All the while things happened, Sonic was trying to remember who she was because he swore he's seen that face until it hit him like an icecream truck. She was the girl that worked at the cosmetic store close to his home. He prayed to Arceus, a mythical god, that she wouldn't remember him which was possible since the girl saw so many people at her job.

Once she was with them, Mephiles introduced her to Sonic and she happily introduced herself. "Hi Sonette it's a pleasure to meet you! I'm Amy, Mephiles' girlfriend," She said and Sonic couldn't help but notice how short she was compared to everyone else in the room.

"How old is she?" Sonic whispered to Shadow as Mephiles distracted the girl with some small talk.

"She said she's as old as Meph," Shadow whispered back.

"How old is Mephiles?"

"Honestly.. I don't know." And who could blame Shad? The boy looked like he was two thousand years old but he contracted the same energy of a 14 year old high school freshman.

"So, Meph and i made dinner would you like to join us?" Amy asked Sonic and Shadow with a cheery smile that never left her side, must of been proud of whatever she made.

"Okay." Sonic shrugged, it was close to being 9 and he was hungry. 

"Oh boy, what'd you make?" Shadow asked his brother as they all walked to the kitchen holding their girls by the hand.

"Food." Was Mephiles' responce.

"Well yeah but what kind?"

"The kind you eat."

Sonic couldn't help but chuckle, Shadow and Mephiles reminded the blue boy of him and Manic. The certain crossdressing hedgehog was too busy admiring their bro best friend relationship to notice Amy staring at him.

I know I've seen her somewhere Amy thought. And there's something so off about her but.. What? That was tonight's mission, she had to find out what was with this 'Sonette'.
