《9》
My alarm had no mercy when waking me up. I quickly flip over to my nightstand and turn off the blaring sound from my phone, snuggling back into the covers and falling asleep again. Another alarm goes off 10 minutes later and this time I was more prepared for it as I had been rudely woken up before. I grumble and reach over to turn off the alarm. I sit up to just... contemplate life for a bit before starting the day.
It goes off once more after 15 minutes of blinking at the wall. I turn it off and stand up to stretch. Three alarms just in case I don't fall asleep is a decision I hate but must live with. It is 8 in the morning so I sleepily walk to the restroom and use it before washing up lazily. I quickly check the messages from last night. After I left the group chat, the guys just whined about the name and finally bid goodnight. They didn't change the name though. Walking out, I settle for some cereal and eat at the dining table while looking over my schedule and room numbers.
Schedule:
M, T, W, TH
9:00-10:15~Art
10:30-12:15~ Graphic Design
12:15-3:00~ Lunch/Break
3:00-5:00~ English
5:15-7:30~ Computer Science
(I know there are prerequisites for freshman, but shhhh)
Graphic Design, and Computer Science were located in the same building but English and Art were in separate ones it appears. That's great. At least each class had about 15 minutes or more between them. 10 minutes have passed since I finished my cereal and I leave the bowl and spoon in the sink for later. Taking a quick 10 minute shower and then brushing, I quickly change into a light blue shirt tucked into high-waisted black ripped jeans and combat boots. Blow drying my hair rapidly I check the time to see it is 8:40. Panicking because I wanted extra time to find my classes, I quickly grabbed my bag and speed walk to the door. Locking it behind me, I jog to the elevator and it brings me to my scooter. Hopping on, I secure my bag on my shoulders and head out to the campus.

Arriving to the college, it had very beautiful architecture and scenery. I didn't have time to admire the area once I glanced at my phone to see it was 8:54. I lock my scooter and hightail it to the correct building. Upon my entrance, there was a huge lobby which opened up to hallways and stairs. Surprisingly many girls were crowding around the main entrance across from me. I apparently entered through one of the side entrances but I didn't have time to pay any mind as I run up the stairs since the art class was on the 2nd floor. There were signs which indicated room numbers that greatly helped as I followed them to the Art room. I quickly open the door and see the class is settling down and the professor seemed to be looking at some papers. The clock in the corner of the room showed I was a minute early.
The room was large, had big windows, and three long rows of desks. The professor's desk was in the center of the front of the room and showed a huge white board and black board behind her. The professor was a woman with light brown hair with highlights placed in a lazy bun. She had fair skin and looked to be around her mid-thirties. Her attire was very colorful and loud compared to her frail figure. She was looking over a stack of papers it appears and glancing at her computer screen every few seconds.
The class had a variety of people, but what was promising was that the majority of the class were girls my age. They all looked very pretty but seemed bored. I sat near the window of the last row of desks. Where I sat, there was a girl on my right but the left side was empty, and was also the very corner of the row. The girl seemed very shy and had shoulder length soft blonde dyed hair. Her roots showed her original hair color was black. She had dark eyes, fair skin, a button nose, and aesthetic circle glasses. Her outfit was a simple black shirt tucked in white overalls. She had a pair of simple checkered vans. She noticed my staring and blushed slightly.
I glance away quickly and blurt out, "Hi. My name is y/n. Your glasses are very pretty." Her eyes widen as she turns to me causing her chair to spin in my direction. This also makes me realize the chairs all spin, yay.
She softly smiles and replies, "Thank you. I'm Momo. I like your hair. It's very long and pretty." I smile and note that my hair hits halfway down my back. I should get a haircut soon. I was about to reply before squealing and loud whispering is heard throughout the room. Both of us glance to the door... and I see the one and only Michael Jackson. I could faint.
Nah, It's only Taehyung. He seems to be the cause of the girls' sudden stir as he boredly enters the class. I glance at the professor to see if she is annoyed by the noise but she merely smiled kindly at Taehyung's arrival. I'm surprised she isn't vexed at the noise and the late arrival of the boy. I watch as he walks to an empty seat at the front. He sat in the corner and the seat next to him was empty. I see the girls in the front row about to scoot over until he abruptly places his bag on the seat. I chuckle under my breath at his action as the girls slump their shoulders.
It appears he didn't notice me. Oh well.
"Alright, let's begin class. Stop your frowning girls, it is time to start roll." The professor states with a hint of amusement which causes my attention to shift to the professor.
She quickly passed a syllabus around. "Hello. You can call me Professor Chaeun since many professors have the surname Song. Welcome to Art 101. Throughout the next two semesters we will be working on a quick overview of color theory, different styles of art, 2D and 3D art, textures, patterns, etc. Your supplies will be provided by BigHit University. I will hand them out after we go through the rules and regulations. The grading for the class will be... Homework will involve... Repercussions and Consequences can result from...." She droned on.
I sighed and took a quick glance at Taehyung. I found him laying his head down on his folded arms. His face was tucked into the sleeves of his loose light blue button up. Our shirts were matching in color I realized. He was wearing navy skinny jeans and black tennis shoes, however. His hair looked very fluffy from above his folded arms. I realized I was staring and quickly turned to the front. The rest of the class continued on with, finally, finishing up the syllabus, receiving our art supplies (which I will look over later), and some more overview of what is to come. We had no assignments except to think about our current art styles.
Once she dismissed the class I wake up from my mindless staring at the large ceiling fan and stand up. Quickly packing the supplies into my bag I turn and see Momo struggling with the zip on her bag. I gently tap her shoulder and offer to help and she obliges. I quickly get to work on pulling the zipper back and getting the flap out of its path.
"Thank you! I was worried I'd have to leave my backpack open the whole day." She grins and I smile back.
"It's no problem. My backpack got stuck all the time before. I'll see you next class!" I exclaimed as she waves and leaves the room. A quick glance showed a majority of the class was gone, Taehyung was as well. I frown a bit at the fact he didn't acknowledge me, but he probably didn't know I was in the classroom? I quickly exit and rush to the Technology Department Building. Following the door numbers, I eventually arrive in front of my next class in Graphic Design.
I was almost late again since the clock showed I made it 2 minutes before the beginning of class. Quickly entering, the room was a bit smaller than the art room and had average sized windows near the top of the wall. There were desks that lined the walls (except the front which is where the professor sat) and, in the center of the room, were long rows of desks together in a square shape, leaving the center of the desks empty. Every desk sat four desktop monitors and computer units. It was a small class and a majority of the students appeared to be male. A quick count showed there were forty desktops and about thirty-two students.
I should probably sit instead of doing math, so I quickly take a seat next to two girls near the left side wall. They were conversing and didn't acknowledge my appearance so I shrugged and noticed the paper seated at every desk. It was the syllabus for the class so I quickly skimmed the content before scanning the class again. There were about twelve girls overall, including me, so that was an observation.
The class started when the professor called attention to him. He was an elderly man that smiled once he noticed us focusing on him. He had a gentle aura around him and dressed in a simple grey polo with khaki pants. He had brown slippers and rectangular glasses that sat on the bridge of his nose as he called roll. I blanked out through the roll call and responded when my name was called.
"I am Professor Yoojang. Alright, I'm hoping you have had experience with computers before. More specifically programming. That is what the class is for, so in the beginning I will breeze through the basics. This is Graphic Design II. We will be designing 3-D character models, focusing on background designs, items designs, learning basic game mechanics, etc." He continued on with the syllabus. He finally dismissed us once the clock showed 12:15 and I'm already tired.

Upon standing, I stretch and pack the syllabus away into my bag. I glance at the door and catch Jungkook exiting the classroom. He has this class too? I didn't even know he went to the same college as me, obviously. I just shrug and exit the classroom, catching a glimpse of Jungkook again before he disappears into the crowd.
