Actually, with Namjoon's brief mini lecture, I think I passed. Barely, perhaps, but I knew a majority of the answers. Currently, I was counting down the minutes for Computer Science to end. Professor Moni was droning on with a lecture while half the class looked to be asleep. I was almost getting there too.
I just left my phone to record the audio of the lecture so I could replay it later.
I was startled awake as I heard Professor Moni state, "Okay okay. It's the end of the day. I know half of you are almost asleep. Get out of here, you lot!"
Sounds of shuffling filled the room as people moved around, packing up and leaving. Placing my journal into my bag and zipping it up, I stand up and push in my chair.
Just as I slipped my phone into my pocket, I hear someone say "Hey y/n."
I look over to where Jisoo was smiling as she stood up and zipped up her bag.
"Hey."
"So, how was your day today?"
"It was fine. You know, Mondays just aren't everyone's day."
"Ain't that the truth! Say, have you seen Jimin's adorable new headphones! I noticed them today. Do you know where he got them from?"
Discreetly rolling my eyes at yet another question, I reply, "Not really sure? I never asked. Probably Amazon?"
"Amazon. That makes sense. How much did they cost?"
"I said I never asked? I don't know." I tried not to sound as rude as the statement sounded, but I still saw her flash a slight glare before revealing a bright grin again. I notice that she changes expressions easily whenever she didn't like my answers. It makes me uncomfortable around her, but she's never been rude. Just artificial.
"Hey y/n." I turn to the source of the deep voice. My eyes widen a bit at the presence of Yoongi.
He glances at Jisoo before turning back to me and asking, "Can I talk to you? I need to discuss something with you."
Slowly nodding my head, I picked up my bag and bid Jisoo a brief farewell. She returned it politely as I followed Yoongi out of the room. He led us down several corridors before stopping near the halls on the opposite side of the building. Nobody was around and the area he chose was at the end of one hall, near a set of stairs that led down to a hallway leading towards the lobby of the building's first floor. So it's safe to say, we were pretty secluded.
He leaned against the stair railing as I fidgeted near the wall across from him. The area was dimly lit, and there weren't any windows around. Two classrooms were located in the hall but then it opened up to the main corridor that looped around the building.
"So, why did you bring me here?"
"Look. Don't think too much about yesterday. It really shouldn't have meant anything."
I was shocked at his statement.
"W-why would you say that?"
"In case you were thinking anything special about my actions. Don't think of me being closer to you."
"I- What? I'm confused here? I really want to thank you for what you did yesterday."
"Yeah. But that doesn't mean I'm fond of you or anything. I just did it because..."
"Because what? You think I'm here to win your affections? Look, I can honestly say that my goal was never to benefit myself from knowing and befriending you guys. Do you think so low of me, because that's what it's starting to sound like."
"I don't know. It's just- last night. Just forget about it."
"What do you have against me Yoongi? There had to have been a reason you helped me. Why don't you like me?"
"It's not- It's just- I don't know. I just shouldn't have."
He just trailed off and left a sea of silence in its wake. Cold and harsh. Why does he have to be so rude. Then why help me in the end?
As I was about to voice my thoughts, a new voice spoke out. A familiar high-pitched female's voice.
"You guys actually slept together? Y/n, what is wrong with you? Yoongi, you too? Don't you have soulmates? This is just great." Jisoo's haunting steps clacked with each tap of her heels on the floor. The sound echoed around the suffocating hallway as she neared closer to us.
"What the fuck are you even talking about? What right do you have to eavesdrop on our conversation?" Yoongi snapped.
"Yoongi, don't be so mean. I could show your boyfriends this footage and it would really hurt you in the end."
"You took footage of this conversation? Delete that shit. You have no right to record us."
"Actually, this footage is gold. Now, you both can be ruined had I happened to accidentally post this on my social media."
"Jisoo, why are you doing this? You totally misinterpreted our conversation. How dare you try to blackmail us?"
"Misinterpreted? I think I interpreted your conversation pretty well, and the whole school will too. We all know you're a gold-digging bitch y/n. That's what you told me yourself." Yoongi and I stare shocked at Jisoo's words.
"What." Yoongi seethed.
"Oh yeah. She went on at the end of the day about how she has gotten so close with all of you and that the popularity she has gained is great! She brags about it all the time and it pisses me off. I just try to get to know her but she only stays and leeches off you guys. That was her plan after all. I know, she's just a phony bitch."
"Wait. Now hold on just a moment-"
Yoongi's scoff cuts me off as he glares at me with the fiercest glare he had ever shown me.
"Y/n. You've really lost any ounce of respect and toleration I've held for you. I knew it." He steps away from the railing and walks down the steps. I quickly rushed over to the railing of the stairs.
"Yoongi wait! It's not true!" He already stepped off the last step and his footsteps quickly faded.
I whipped my head towards Jisoo's form as she has a sinister smirk set on her lips and a malicious glint of triumph in her eyes.
"I rarely cuss but what the actual fuck is wrong with you! How dare you say those lies. What the hell!"
"Why? You're sick. You don't deserve to be acknowledged by them."
"You better take back your words before I uno reverse them and shove them so far up your-"
"You slept with Yoongi. He has soulmates y/n. Are you saying my words are wrong?"
"Completely! Last night, he saved me from this guy that wouldn't leave me alone at the grocery market. This has nothing to do with what your implying. What are these lies that you just made up to him. Why would you say them?"
"To get them away from you."
We both paused. Looking at her, I would've never saw her saying the words that have been spilling out of her mouth. I've lost any innocent image I've had of her.
"That's right. You have no right sitting and laughing with them. There are so many girls who wish to have been in your position. What right do you have taking the position. That's right, none."
"Holy shit. What is your actual problem? So you think you can take whatever made up position it is next to them. They are humans and yet you make it sound like they are higher beings and that it's a privilege to know them. You are the one that had no right making those lies and recording our conversation. You are the one who has no rights saying all these things to me. You're obsessed with them!"
"Obsessed. Sure. But I know, the balance is restored without you in the picture. You think after Yoongi tells them what I've said, they'd still sit with you?"
"What you said were straight up lies. And you know this! You will tell them that it was all a lie. You will tell Yoongi that you lied."
"No. Who says I'm going to do that? Even if you tried to tell them yourself, they wouldn't believe you. And I know this." She turned and started walking down the hallway.
"Get back here! We aren't finished talking. How do you know, huh? It's clear you lied. Does Jennie know this is the real you?"
"Jennie was the one who told me that you were a loner that doesn't have any friends. It only makes sense that you latched onto the Bangtan Boys. Bye. Oh and don't try to talk to the boys again or else I will release this footage. Let this be your only warning."
She turned down the hall as I stood there alone.
Trying to gather what had just happened, I felt overwhelmed. I didn't care about her threats. What do I do.
Shit, Yoongi. He has probably already told them.
I quickly dash down the stairs and hightail it towards 'Dimples'.
Please.
Please.
Please.
The boys weren't anywhere. Everyone looked at me like I was crazy as I dashed around the cafe looking for them.
There was no sign of them.
I dejectedly left and walked over to my scooter. How could this happen? What do I say? Should I talk to them at the apartment complex and try to explain myself or leave them be.

When I did enter the garage, I noticed their cars weren't there. They probably haven't returned yet. I can't talk to them now.
Solemnly entering the elevator and taking the path towards my apartment, I worry over how to explain myself. Has Yoongi told them yet? Most likely.
I felt tears welling up in my eyes as I entered my room and huddled into the center of my bed. How did everything go so far downhill so quickly? Why do I care so much?
My phone let out a buzz and I flinch a bit in surprise. Reaching for it, I turn on the screen to see one notification.
It was a text from a group chat.

A/N: Horrible news. The spring semester is upon us. I can see it on the horizon.
My procrastination is already revving it's engine.
A few people asked for my updating schedule and due to my hectic schedule, I try my best to update once a week on weekends. Normally a chapter anywhere between Friday-Sunday. I know it sucks that my chapters are short and I can only update once per week, but it's all I can really fit in. My apologies, but I hope you are enjoying the story so far 😅
It's also why I feel so euphoric when I see any comments or votes 😂
Question time! What was your favorite hair color on the boys?
I freaking love all their hairstyles and colors, but silver can be pretty harmful to my emotions.
bonnehh_ I love her drawings 💜💜
