On the Road
We had been riding for a little while and I had been bubbling with curiousity.
"So, what's the Ender Dragon?" I asked.
Ty almost fell off his horse and Adam started laughing really hard.
"The Ender Dragon is the boss of Minecraft. He controls all the mobs and everything," Ian explained.
"So, he's dangerous?"
Mitch and Jerome turned and looked at me, trying to hold back their laughter.
"Yes... he's very dangerous," Mitch laughed.
"Like, one bite and you're gone," Jerome grinned.
"Yeah. But don't worry, we won't let him kill you," Bashur said.
"Thanks. I feel very lighthearted now..." I said sarcastically.
"You're welcome," Ryan said.
We rode until the sun was setting on the western horizon like a blocky ball of fire. Our caravan came to a stop.
"We make camp here for the night," said Adam.
"Good! I'm exhausted!" said Ryan.
"Where do we sleep?" I asked.
"You make a tent, here, I'll show you how," said Mitch. He quickly assembled the tent and then his own, which was right next to Jerome's.
"There ya go. Sleep tight," he said. He then disappeared into his own tent.
"Night guys!" I called. I got a chorus of goodnight's back. I then cuddled into my bed and fell asleep.
I woke in the middle of the night to the sound of groaning. I sat up and groped for my sword, which was by my bed. I grabbed it and went outside. I was immediately punched by a zombie.
"Oh my gosh help!" I yelled, trying to run from the zombie. Ty came out, a worried look on his face. He saw the zombie and killed it with his sword.
"Why were you freaking out over a zombie?" he asked.
"They could kill me!" I cried.
"Calm down, Austin. Zombies are the least of your worries," he said tiredly. He turned and went back to his tent. I did the same and I was soon asleep again.
I woke the next morning and stretched. I took down my tent and put it in my backpack. I saw Adam lighting a fire and beginning to roast some porkchops.
"Hey Austin," said Ryan, tossing me an apple.
"Hey Ryan," I replied. I caught the apple and took a bite.
I then noticed Thalia was gone.
"Where's Thalia?" I asked.
"Hunting," said Bashur. "She said we'll need more food if we're going all the way to The Budder Dimensions without stopping in a village."
I nodded and sat by the fire. I finished my breakfast and got back on my horse.
"Come on guys, it's time to go," said Adam. We all got on our horses and began riding away.
"What about Thalia?" I asked.
"She's on the trail ahead. She'll see us coming," Jerome said.
Sure enough, Thalia soon rode out of the woods on her horse and joined the caravan.
And so begins another day on the adventure.
