Katsuki was not in the greatest headspace. He was reserved. Mostly quiet and depressed. Midnight received his updated hero name a week after...the incident. She really liked it, but she was intensely worried about one of her favorite students.

Katsuki - "Why the fuck am I here?"

Hound Dog (Inui Ryo) - "Well, several of your teachers and peers are worried about you. On the request of a few of my coworkers, I've brought you in for a mental health evaluation to assure those around you, that you are fit to receive your provisional hero license."

Katsuki - "Figures. Extras can't keep their noses out of my business. I'm fine. I don't have a bad mental health or whatever."

Inui Ryo - "I know that to be true from my own observation."

Katsuki - "What observation?!"

Inui Ryo - "As the UA guidance counselor, it's my job to monitor the mental and emotional health of those under my watch. Class 1-A is one of my top priorities this year as the lot of you encountered, fought, and in your case been kidnapped, multiple times by serious and incredibly dangerous villains.

I keep an eye on your class in particular to make sure you don't do anything reckless that could endanger yourself or others among other things. Does that make sense?"

Katsuki - "I guess? I don't know I have training I have to get back to, can we speed this up?"

Inui Ryo - "You've been doing a lot of training lately haven't you?"

Katsuki - "Yeah? I'm going to be the number one hero, so I have to be the strongest."

Inui Ryo - "Bakugo, you've been training so much that your grades have been suffering. You went from straight A's to C's and D's within the first month of Gas-"

Katsuki - "DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT FUCKING NAME! HIS NAME IS SANS!"

Katsuki almost leapt off the couch with his hand poised to make an explosion.

Inui Ryo - "I'm sorry, I won't say that name again, though. Can I ask why you don't like that name? On file, that's what we have as Sans's family name."

Katsuki - "That name is the man, monster, whatever the hell he is, that's the name of the guy who kidnapped me. He had me locked in a muzzle he called the S.T.M."

Inui Ryo - "I can see the faint bruising around your jaw. Recovery Girl is healing you every other day, yes?"

Katsuki - "Yeah, she said she wanted me to relax in between sessions."

Inui Ryo - "Have you? All this talk about training doesn't sound too relaxing too me, though it may be to you, and that's okay. People relax in different ways. What do you do when you're not training?"

Katsuki's silence spoke volumes. His jaw was clenched but his body was rigid and his chin pointed down. His eyes, though covered by his hair, held the panic of a teenager searching for an answer that would satisfy the question.

Inui Ryo - "I see."

The scratching of pen on clipboard was like nails on a chalkboard to Katsuki's ears.

Katsuki - "See what?! I don't need relaxing! Not when Sans is gone!"

Inui Ryo - "I'm sorry Bakugo. You're alright to leave if you want Although, I would urge you to take a few days away from training to just do nothing. Have a good day."

Katsuki - "Bullshit, wasting my time."

Katsuki stomped out of his office, making sure to slam the door hard enough to rattle his coffee cup. On cue, his office phone rang.

Nezu - "I saw him storm out. What are your thoughts?"

Inui Ryo - "Don't stop him from anything school or hero related. I fear if you do, he'll go full vigilante and we'd have two students to search for. Just keep an eye on him and send Aizawa if he gets out of hand."

Nezu - "Understood. Thank you Inui. Have a splendid rest of the day."

Eijirou - "Coming at you!"

Eijirou launched himself at Katsuki's face only to narrowly avoid a roundhouse kick.

Eijirou - "So, what did Hound Dog want?"

Katsuki - "Bastards think I'm unwell mentally and they might revoke my provisional license before I even get the damn thing!"

Katsuki dodged a heavy right hook and countered with his elbow.

Eijirou - "How'd it go?"

Katsuki - "Hell if I know!"

Katsuki slumped against the wall with his water bottle. Eijirou slid down next to him and handed him his towel.

Katsuki - "He promised me he'd come back. The only promise he made here and he broke it."

Eijirou - "I know what you mean. Imagine how he feels about it? He's probably destroying himself because of it. If they take your license, me and you. We'll ditch school and go search for him ourselves. The two of us can do a lot better than all the heroes who have all those regulations and rules."

Katsuki - "We'll find Sans. And make the bastards who took him pay dearly."
