I badly wanted them to rhyme
So I wrote my piece
And sent prayers up to release
The broken notes and empty minds
Tell me what else is behind
The dark curtain and restless sighs
Hear me to admit I wasn't wise
Day by day, line after line
Uninspired waves to tackle the sublime
So I wrote my heart to please
