The losers club had always been there for each, ben and kayla were the closest out of all the group but after that summer of 1989 they all sadly drifted apart. Now 27 years later they all have careers and new lifes, kayla had become a doctor and was right now woken up by her phone going off so she sits up and picks up "hello?" She says into the phone with a groggy voice. Then something about the voice on the other end was familiar to her "kayla, its Mike Hanlon from derry" they say and she looked at the scar she's always had on her hand but she couldn't remember how she got it. After mike said he need her to come home she started to pack and got her shifts at work covered for the next few days at least then she booked a room at the only inn in derry. She couldn't explain why but she felt afraid to go back and this overwhelming sense of fear washed over her but she shoke it off as just nervousness.

*at the jade of orient*

Kayla walked inside and was less to the table that had been book for the losers club, it's odd as the memory of that group just popped back into her head but no memory of the members. As she looked over the table she noticed two men and their names appeared within her mind "bill, mike?" She says and the turned to her and they all hugged finally remembering each other. It wasn't long till another member of the losers club had arrived "holy shit" eddie says seeing 3 of of his old friends "nice to see you too Eds" mike says and they all started to catch up. Then out of no where the gong was hit making them turn "this meeting of the losers club has officially begun" richie Tozier says as he stands was Beverley Marsh, Stanley Uris and ben Hanscom. Kayla felt her heart skip at beats seeing how ben looks now compared to when they last saw each other, she still loved him back then for his kind heart the caring thoughts for others. As the dinner went on ben and kayla toke the chance to flirt with each other and they couldn't see that bev was becoming jealous of them. Bill toke notice however "bev don't, they haven't seen each in so long and clearly still have feelings for each other" he whispers to her. Bev just nodded her head and ate in silence "oh God I've missed all you guys" richie says "yes we missed you too rich" mike says and they smiled as the conversation went on and on till they had to leave.

*time skip*

Kayla wachted as ben stood over Eddie and richie after eddie had just thrown the spear bev gave him at it coursing it to impale itself. What they didn't see was it slowly raising its claw up at them "guys look out!" She yelled and she ran then pushed ben and eddie out of the way and toke the hit of its claw "noooooo!" She heard ben yell. She then got thrown and felt every painful hit as she rolled and eventually stopped, the losers all ran to her and got her sat up "now what are we gonna do?" Eddie asked then he remembered what happened with him and the leper. Once he told them they all came up with a plan but made sure kayla was safe first "go on guys, end that thing for good" she says weakly and reluctantly they all went and did the plan. Once they was done and the had finally killed it they rushed out with ben carry kayla and the just managed to make it out of there alive "guys we gotta get her to the hospital and fast" bill says. Ben looked down at her "I'm surprised your still awake" he said to her "I'm not taken down that easy Hanscom" she says making ben chuckl. He knew it was probably a bad time but he couldn't wait so he just kissed her and she kissed back "omg finally" richie says making the tow pull away a few seconds later and blush.

*a few weeks later*

Luckily the losers got kayla to the hospital in time and she survived but she will forever have a scar where it stabbed her "hey how you feeling?" Ben asked as he sat with her. They were currently sat on Ben's boat "I'm fine, just enjoying the quiet" kayla says happily then she noticed Ben's nervous face "you okay ben?" She asked and ben toke her hand in his own. He then toke a deep breath "listen kayla I've been in love with you for years ever since I first saw you when we were kids so I would love to ask you this big question" ben said pulling out a small box. He looked right into kayla's eyes "will you marry me?" He asked "omg ben yes of course I will" kayla says joyfully and her smile grew as ben put the most beautiful ring on her finger.

*the wedding*

It's only a year later that they had their wedding, kayla had help from bev and even a little help from Bill's wife audra as well. That didn't stop her nerves from building up as she got into her dress "relax kayla its gonna be fine, you both love each other and that's what important" bev says. Kayla smiled as she stood just outside the doors "ready?" Bev asked "yea I'm ready" kayla says as the doors open and she saw her husband to be standing there looking as handsome as ever. As she walked down the aisle Ben's eyes never left her as his smile grew at the woman he felt very lucky to be marrying, when they got to the front bev handed her off to ben and went and sat with the other losers. After they said the vows which brought tears of joy  everyone's eyes "do you ben Hanscom take this woman to be your wife, love and honor her in sickness and health as long as you both shall live?" The persist says "I do" ben said without hesitation. Then it was kayla's turn "do you kayla take this woman to be your wife, love and honor her in sickness and health as long as you both shall live?" She was asked "I do" she says "I now pronounce you husband and wife you may kiss the bride" was said and in seconds Ben's lips were on kayla's and everyone cheers and claps.
