when he caught sight of something twinkling in the distance.
he was amazed to see a girl shining brighter than any other stars he had ever seen.
the boy always adored the diamonds in the sky.
he wanted to admire this one from up close.
like a moth drawn to flames, he was drawn to her.
the girl noticed him.
however, she never expected someone to notice her.
the boy and the girl thought they were meant for each other.
but the cupid knew they were wrong.
she always gave what he asked for.
he kept her heart in a cage.
watching it glow everyday.
when darkness arrived to destroy his life, he had his light bulb with him to keep him safe and warm.
one day, his light bulb started to flicker.
he said, "fix your flaws."
in reply, she said, "as you wish, master."
ultimately, he grew more and more greedy for her heart.
the boy yearning for better warmth.
with a smile, he watched his light bulb burn herself.
he was hurting her.
the girl didn't care.
he was breaking her.
the girl still didn't care.
she would do anything to make him happy.
he embosomed the heat radiating from her body.
her sweet voice replaced with screams out of agony.
she wanted to stop.
the boy didn't shower any mercy on her.
at the end of the day, her light bulb shattered into million pieces causing their separation.
one was left with an everlasting pain, and another was left with a permanent deep scar.
