Rhea's POV

Hadrian left in a hurry without even giving me a chance to say bye but it was for the best. I needed to keep my distance. I texted Kane to distract myself.

Rhea: Kane, are you picking me up?

Kane: Yeah give me 10 minutes <3

I smiled then quickly changed into a pair of jeans and jumper. It was still cold and becoming ill wasn't on my to-do list. I grabbed my purse and went outside. The sudden change in temperature caused me to shiver as soon as I was out of the reach of the heat from the building.

Kane's car parked in front of me and he opened the passenger seat door for me to enter. Once I sat down, I knew that something was bothering him. He didn't turn to look at me or even say hi.

"Kane, what's wrong?" I asked worried.

"Nothing," he muttered.

"You can tell me."

My words of encouragement worked as he exploded. "So guess what I found out today?" I opened my mouth but he continued. "Hadrian DiRomero is back. Yes, he is and I find that my girlfriend has a dorm right next to his. But that wasn't even the best thing. Kane, what could top that? Well, Rhea, after asking around with some of your old friends, I discovered that you two had a relationship!"

He started to laugh without humour. "So my girlfriend's ex is going to be living right next to her."

"I never dated him," I corrected him.

"You've kissed him, right?"

I controlled my blush and turned angry myself. "That's none of your f*cking business, Kane."

"I'm your boyfriend so it is in theory my business."

I glared at him then noticed we were on a highway. There was no way I was going to stay in a car with him while he was angry.

"Stop the car," I said.

He did as I asked and I unlocked my door taking my purse with me. I crossed the road and began walking the way we came. Kane's door also slammed shut telling me he had also come out.

"Where the f*ck are you going?" He yelled.

"Away from you until you've calm down."

"Come back here!"

I turned to give him my middle fingers. Boy bye. He didn't make any move to stop me and drove off in the other direction. I groaned with frustration as I had no idea where I was. I pulled out my phone to find out it was dead. Perfect.

A black car paused next to me. Expensive by the looks of it and new.

"Get in," the owner said.

I hesitantly, went inside. The car continued driving once I closed the door. The voice belonged to the person I needed to avoid.

"Hadrian, I thought you were in your room." I was highly confused.

"I was but now I'm not. That's not the main issue here. What the f*ck were you doing on the edge of a highway?"

"If I said it was because I was exploring, would you believe me?"

He shook his head, messing up his black hair. "Nope. However, I'm assuming it has something to do with your boyfriend."

I stared out the window refusing to confirm it. The I saw his car drive straight past the university. "Where are we going?"

"To meet some very bad people," he said grinning sinisterly. I didn't know whether staying with him was safe with the smile he was giving me. "Don't worry, princess. You're not going with me but could you open that bag by your feet?"

I leaned forward and unzipped the rucksack on the floor. All that there was inside were weapons.

"Oh my gosh!" I screamed dropping the bag.

Hadrian rolled his eyes and pulled out a gun then put it into his suit pants. He continued hiding knives and guns under his clothes using one hand until the bag was empty. I barely noticed he was still driving as I was in shock.

"Rhea," he said, looking straight at me. "You may hate me in a few hours so I'm sorry."

"Why did you bring me with you?!"

"I'm late," he replied looking at his silver watch. "And I couldn't leave you on a road."

Hadrian parked in the lower floor of a warehouse. He came out first then went round to open my door. I stood up and he grabbed my wrists then began to wrap them with rope. I glared at him as he did it as the last time this happened someone died.

"I hope you're not planing on dying," I told him.

He laughed then covered my mouth with a piece of cloth. "I'm not dying anytime soon, princess. Now, enjoy some rest."

He tapped my skull with one of his fingers sending me to sleep.

I sat up. I was in my room with no rope in sight. Then I remembered Hadrian. In a rush, I came out of my room and knocked on his door. It opened only to show a dark haired boy looking down at me with a girl hanging off his arm.

"Are you the other girl?" he asked. "Because you don't look like the usual girls I invite."

My nose wrinkled with disgust. "I'm not the other girl and I want to know where Hadrian is."

"Do you know how many people keep asking about him? Are you one of his fans? Stalker? Those girls who think they're carrying his baby?"

"I'm his...friend," I answered.

He stared at me then gave in. "He's not here. He might be at the club a few blocks away. It's very exclusive so you may not get in."

"Name?"

"Ace of Hearts."

And my reads are going up slowlyyyy but it's fine XD I remember the days of 11 reads... Good times.
