Glimmer.

It's the next day and Adora feels a lot better and looks a lot better than she did. 
I will admit I'm still pissed at her for not, asking for help when she clearly needed it but... she's just got that character about her .
" MORNING GLIMMER." I jump slightly.
Adora waves up to me. I'm still on my bed and hadn't noticed she had woken up.
I got some guards to help me bring her to her bed in here yesterday cause I thought it would be nicer.
" heh morning Adora, what's with you being so hyper?" I ask teleporting to the ground. 
" well I can stretch again and move around without as much pain as yesterday sooo, that's worth being hyper."
I just smile at her goofy self.

She suddenly gets a glimmer in her eyes.
" ah! I remember saying we should hang out today! I'm not the relaxing type but I'll still enjoy being with you. "
She says smiling the purest smile.
Ack my heart.
" Awesome I think we should have a picnic near the forestry area of Brightmoon"
Adora nods agreeing.
" um quick question. What's a picnic?"
I widen my eyes.
" Adora have you been living under a rock?!" I say gobsmacked.
" No I've been living in the horde."
" Well a picnic is where you pack up food and drinks and go and just eat and relax but outside?"
I say trying to explain a picnic the best I can.
" So we just eat outside?... sounds FUN."
She exclaims.

*a few hours later*

"So just set the blanket down there." I tell Adora, she places it down.
I put our picnic basket down in the middle.
The spot we've chosen has a little pond a little walk away and just nice scenery all around.
" Bow and I use to go on picnics all the time ,but since all the horde stuff lately there's been no time for it."
I let out a little sign.
Adora notices my discomfort.
" Glimmer... I swear one day we'll defeat them and we'll have everything back to normal." She holds out her pinkie.
" The horde taught you how to pinkie promise?"
She giggles.
"The 'rock' I was living under wasn't that big."
I take her pinkie and interlock it with mine.
" I pinkie promise Glimmer ." She gives me a little wink and then let's go.

This may not be the best time to bring this up but.... I need to know what Catra was doing in my room the other night and what her and Adora were doing.

"Um Adora... I was awake the other night and um I heard you and 'Catra' speaking."
Adora tenses up.
" I'm so sorry Glimmer, I had no idea she was going to show up in your room , and I dint want to wake you up."
Adora looks down guiltily.
I might as well say it... cause I know Adora won't tell me unless I ask.

" WERE YOU AND CATRA IN LOVE." I let out a little too loud.
Adora looks shocked, she looks away from me with a bitter look on her face.
" oh.. so you really heard everything." She says bitterly.
I look at her waiting for an answer.

" I don't know... Catra always knew more than me when it came to life outside of the horde.
When she kissed me one day after practice I just stood there. I don't know what a kiss was... but as time went on I realised I did like her and I know she liked me back. But I was I love with a Catra that didn't hurt innocent people. I hadn't met the real one yet."

I just stare... shit I shouldn't have asked.
" I'm sorry for bringing it up Adora." I say apologetically. She rummages through the picnic basket and pulls out a cupcake.
" it's fine. I've got two sweeter things in my life now. This cupcake and you." She takes a bite and a happy aura emits off of her.

" heh yeah.l I say happily. also grabbing a cupcake.

Bow
"WHAAAAAT?! They went on a picnic without me !! "
I shout upset pacing around the throne room.
" Yes bow for the 17th time in the last 5 minutes they went on a picnic without you. "
Queen Angella says frustrated.
" B-but THE BEST FRIEND SQUAD ?!"
Angella smiles at me.
"Bow it can't be bestfriend squad all the time, sometimes it's going to be girl time. "
"ITS NOT MY FAULT IM THE ONLY ONE WHOS NOT A PRINCESS. "
I say with my voice cracking constantly.
Then it pops into my head.
" What if they're on a date ! And that's why they didn't invite me. "
Angella laughs at me.
"Bow I can assure you it's totally not a date, girls just need time to hangout from time to time."
I push that idea aside then. I need some boys to hang out with to have boy time.
