Interrogation

Sanyukta's POV

I served lunch ,He was still sitting on the side chair ,hands resting on the table, Confusion spread all over his face.
I stuffed his plate and pushed it by his side .
"Sanyukta"
he chipped .
"Yeah speak"
I replied munching the bite of my sandwich.
"Are you hiding something from me Sanyukta?"
He questioned.
My food got struck in my throat ,I started coughing . This would have made him doubt for sure I cursed myself under my breath.
He poured a glass of water and handed it to me, rubbing my back side by side.
"You fine?"
"Hmm I am okay."
"You didn't answer my question."
"Which question?"
I tried my best to avoid the question as I had to conceal the truth for his betterment.
"You are answerable to me Mrs. Sanyukta shekhawat."
He stated with a loud bang over the table which scared the hell out of me and turned the situation more eerie,I never in my whole life lied to Randhir and he was making it impossible for me to keep it all to myself.
"I'm being extorted ."
I blurted out all of a sudden and cursed the hell out of me , the thoughts of that person making Randhir hurt gave me goosebumps.
"And when were you going to tell me?"
His eyes portrayed just one emotion and that was concern.
"I was being blackmailed ,how was I supposed to tell it to you?"
I stated rather questioned.
"OKAY okay I'm sorry. When did it start? What did he do? Look at me in the eyes and tell me everything.
"It stared few weeks earlier ,The day you saw me in the parking lot ,it was him who did it all."
"You saw him? Who did he look like?"
"Not exactly it was quite dark and everything was messed up and I was scared."
"Did he harm you in any way Sanyukta?"
"Not exactly but he tried to molest me and he has been sending cheap stuff to me."
"And you deleted it all ? What if we need some kind of proof ?"
"No I didn't delete anything everything is in the vault.I couldn't keep it all openly."
"Show it to me. "
He said with utmost concern, I opened the vault hesitatingly and handed him the phone .
"Why are you shivering Sanyu? "
He asked with more concern in his eyes and made me sit next to him .He pulled the chair closer to his ,our bodies touching each other and snaked his arm around my shoulder.
"That stuff" I almost whispered ,he rubbed his hand over my shoulder consoling me, I couldn't resist putting my head on his shoulder to which he smiled and snuggled closer.
"you don't need to panic Sanyu, its just me right and I'm your better half you can share anything with me. "
I hummed and he kissed my forehead he scrolled through every MMS and saw it all . He was at his worst ,Anger had made blood rush to his face and his eyes were blood shot red with rage. "Randhir." I said to calm him But what came next was another shock....

Randhir's POV

She was going through it all alone and I misbehaved with her, no it wasn't even misbehaviour it was much worse .She was suffering through a lot and I just increased her problems, Rage had empowered my senses by then but what I did next was necessary ,more than necessary.
"I am sorry sanyukta"
I said with tears in my eyes. I had a feeling of hatred within me that too for my own self.
"You don't need to be sorry Randhir. In fact I am sorry for dragging you to the police station"
She replied and it made me sink deeper into my guilt ,this girl did it all for me and I just gave her pain. I looked at her hurt fragile figure and then I noticed her dress which she had worn to hide her wounds,I went by her side and pulled up her sleeve. She had bruises all over.
"We should go to a doctor. " I said caressing her arm.
"I'm fine, Randhir and I'm not going anywhere, I don't want anyone to blame you for anything, it will heal soon."
This girl was so selfless she thought about me out of all the people even after what I did to her ,I gave another kiss on her forehead.
"Then let Me heal you Sanyu ,Wait I'll get the ointment ."
She hummed in response.
"Sanyukta promise me you won't hide anything from me now on please."
I almost begged her and applied ointment on her wounds.
" I promise."
She chipped a smile plastered on her face even after all the problems she was facing ,I'll be back within an hour or so ,I said giving her a quick kiss on the cheek and headed towards the door. "where are you going Randhir?"
she asked with fear in her eyes
"Nothing is going to happen Sanyu I will be soon and let you know when. And don't open the door for anyone."
I said passing a flying kiss and she almost blushed and my heart fluttered a million butterflies......
