Lucy's POV: ( Didn't expect that did you? :p )

The girls are always late! Why are they taking so long? Just as I said that I saw Sarah coming down the stairs, I walked towards her and asked her how she did in the exam, apparently, I'm not the only one that did bad, I just hope the other girls did better! Talking about the other girls, Sarah  has already ran towards Nabaa, Moe and Harmony who just came out of the school gates. We met up with them and started talking about the exam. After a while, we saw Jazmine coming down the stairs with a frown stuck on her face.

Uh Oh ... That's not a good sign ... That means she didn't do well in the physic exam, The Poor Thing!

If she did bad in this last exam then our whole summer would be ruined! She walked towards us and we all sat down in our favourite place in the school yard, under the huge tree. Jazmine was awfully quiet unlike the usual days, That's not a good sign either!  As soon as we sat down, all of our heads turned to face hers, wanting to hear the news but her face still held a sad look and not a word came out of her mouth.

When she finally decided that it was time to tell us, I regretted my  impatience because after only a few words coming out of her mouth, we all gasped!

Jazmine's POV:

I just reached the bottom of the stairs and I already see the girls looking at me, I walked towards them and greeted them with a very gloomy "Hey, guys!".  We started walking towards our spot  under the old oak tree and I'm not joking when I say old, I think it's 120 years old but I'm not sure, It's located in the middle of the school's surprisingly - clean yard. Anyways, as soon as my bum made contact with the yard's pavement, all of the girls' heads turned to me. It's funny, it looked like a scene from that comedy movie I watched a couple days ago, I would have made a joke about it if it weren't for the serious matter we currently have at hand, our whole summer holiday is at stake!

I still kept a frown on my face . I'm astonished by the fact that I didn't blow my cover yet. As I mentioned before, I'm not that much of an actress. Usually, I would start laughing which would give it away, I'm actually doing this so naturally it's surprising .... Okay  Scratch that .... It's taking all my will power not to laugh and ruin the act. 

I knew all the girls wanted to know how I did in the exam and the looks that I received once I raised my head proved it. So, I finally decided it was time to tell them, just as I opened my mouth, the  wind blew my hair giving this moment a dramatic look . Instead of talking, I just sighed and looked down again , that's when Harmony said with impatience visible on her face, "Are you going to tell us how you did in the exam or what?" Everybody looked towards Harmony when she spoke then turned to me nodding, then Moe started speaking, agreeing with Harmony, "Yeah, We don't have all day, you know!" They all nodded once again but this time Nabaa stopped and said, "Actually Moe, We kinda do!" We giggled but we were soon back to serious mode, I knew this was the perfect time to tell them the vital news and so I did, "Well, I'm pretty sure you all want to know how I did in the physic exam so I'll cut straight to the chase ... I ..." I started to say until Sarah interrupted me saying, "Finally!" I just shot her a glare and continued speaking, "Like I was saying before being rudely interrupted ..." I shot Sarah yet another glare as a joke and she just smiled innocently, "I don't think I did good in the exam! I'm sorry guys ... I single-handedly ruined our whole summer holiday!" I said with a sigh full of regret coming out of my mouth then I looked towards my feet and started rubbing my knees giving away a sad impression .

When I looked up to see the looks on their faces , I was more than delighted that I was filming this, I'm a genius! All of their faces held traces of sadness and pure shock, Sarah was even close to crying! I thought that they would have seen through my act by now but they didn't. Wow, it looks like I have acting down to a fine art.  I was about about to tell them about the act when Sarah said with tearful eyes, " Our holiday, the one we have been planning this whole year was ruined in mere seconds! Just like that, it vanished into thin air!" Lucy was so shocked her mouth was wide open, "I can't believe it! I-I ... That's impossible!" I took one last look on all of their faces and noticed that Nabaa was on the verge of tears too , when she noticed that I was looking at her, she said, "Don't worry Jazmine! It's not your fault!" Lucy nodded and Sarah said, agreeing, "Yeah! At least you tried your best, I'm sure we'll figure  something out!" Not one word has come out of Harmony and Moe 's mouth until now when they all seemed to try and reassure me, words along the lines of "It's okay!" and even " Everything happens for a reason!" were flying by.

I couldn't hold it any longer, I burst out laughing so hard that I was rolling on the ground, clutching my stomach, "Oh My God ... Your faces ... They  were priceless!" I bet if anyone saw me right now they will think I escaped from a mental institution, when my laughs finally died down , which took a lot of time, I looked around me and saw that the whole school was looking at me , I just shot them a smile and looked back at the girls. To be honest, I never really cared what people think or say  and I've been fine till now. When I saw the girls' faces that were filled with confusion ... Boy was I glad I was filming this... I went back to laughing even harder than before , if that is possible. 

Nabaa seemed to be the first one to catch on and I'm not surprised , I mean she's the queen of pranks, at least, that's what she calls herself. After a few moments, all of them seemed to catch on and I just kept  giggling the whole time,  " You scared me to death!" Moe exclaimed putting her hand over her chest. Out of a sudden, they all shared the same look on their faces except for Lucy and then Harmony said, "Oh Jazmine, You're so dead!" And the next thing I know, the events of yesterday were being repeated. They were chasing me around the school's yard and the funny thing is they don't even know that this whole thing is being filmed.

They kept chasing me for a while with me laughing my head off, until Lucy jumped in front of me and stopped me, that's when I realized she was the only one who didn't join us in our little Tom and Jerry moment. No one expected me to suddenly halt in my tracks even if my name is Jazmine Holt, and they all fell over crushing me in a ball of giggling girls. After our giggling fit has finished, Lucy asked, "So, Did you do good in your exam or not? I'm confused!" She then added after taking a breath, " And no need to laugh at my question!" We all giggled at her question even though she told us not to, I then screamed, "Guess who's going to London this summer?" I shot them a look of excitement and continued talking, " We are!" We all cheered  and hugged then we went back to our spot . 

Sarah couldn't hold her excitement, she squealed and said, "I can't wait till we get there!" Receiving an answer by Harmony, " Dear, we still got two weeks till our flight!" Sarah raised her hands in surrender and said, " Hey, Don't judge me! I'm thrilled!" This time Nabaa was the one answering Sarah saying, " We got a lot of time to plan our trip, But what do you want to do today? I hope you didn't forget ... Today's our last day at school ... aka the last exam .. Aka A whole day to our selves where we can do whatever we want!" Lucy giggled and said, " We get it Nabaa! But since you asked I was thinking we can go ice skating." Moe looked at Lucy as if she grew an extra head and asked, " Ice skating? In the middle of summer?" Harmony then stepped in and said, " You know what? It's not a bad idea! I bet there aren't alot of people there and it'll be good for us to do something different ." Moe repeated her question, " Yeah .. But in summer? " Lucy was the one to answer her saying, " Yes ... Yes, In summer. They have indoor rinks, you smart ass!" It seemed to be the first time Moe has heard such a thing because she said, " There are? I didn't know that!" We all giggled.

We all agreed to go ice skating even though half of us don't know how to ice skate, in fact, Harmony and Nabaa were the only ones to know ... even Lucy, the one that came up with the idea, didn't know how to ice skate. We were now sharing a few of our funny ice skating stories when I said, " I love ice skating .... even if it isn't really my thing!". A series of "me too!" flew in the air. Lucy then oooo'ed as if remembering something and said, " Oh right! You have to wear thicker clothes , it's pretty cold there." Harmony giggled and said, "  Yeah, I remember the first time I went ice skating, I didn't know it was that cold there, I ended up going with a black cut top and a sky blue skirt and I was shivering the whole time!" We all giggled at her story.

We agreed to meet at the indoor ice skating rink at 2 o'clock. I stood up deciding it was time to go home and said, " I better get going then, See you at the indoor rink!" We all hugged and said our goodbyes. I started walking towards the gates when I remembered that I was still filming this, so I turned around and said, " Oh yeah, I forgot to mention something funny!" Sarah answered me saying, " What is it?" I laughed and said, " I'm filming this, I got it all on tape , especially the funny faces you had on when I pranked you!" They all looked at me with that same 'We're going to kill you' look. I laughed and said, " Hey, If you're going to start chasing me again, you might want to chase Tim, too! He's the one filming this." I pointed to the bush Tim was hiding in. He, then, came out laughing and shaking the camera in front of their faces. " TIMMY!" They all screamed but Tim just laughed and said, " Sorry! Wait no I'm not!" Tim and I laughed yet again, all the girls scoffed and were clearly annoyed so I shot them an innocent smile and screamed, " BYE!" Then, me and Tim took off home, Timmy was my walking home partner , since his my neighbor but most importantly, He's one of my best friends, too. 

After a 10 minute walk, we finally arrived home. "Have fun at the rink, Jazmine." Timmy said while hugging me, I replied with a "Thank you! You too!" He excitedly said, " I sure will have fun!"  He seems thrilled, I wonder why? When he noticed my confused face, he started explaining, " I know I said I wasn't going to do anything today but it turns out my cousins are coming over." Finally knowing the reason of his excitement, I smiled and said,  " I'm sure you'll have a bunch of  fun with your cousins, you still have to introduce me though." He laughed saying," I will introduce you just not now, when the whole family is present!" My reply was ," Yeah yeah .. Whatever you say!" He chuckled at my childish behavior and said, "I promise! And you better start getting ready so you won't be late." Offended, I answered back, "Hey! You know I don't take that long to get ready!" He nodded smiling and said, " Yeah, I know! Well, see you later." I replied with  a "See ya!" and smiled.

1 and a half hour later

"So, where are you girls going today?" My mom asked, we were having lunch and it was yummy! "We're going to the indoor ice skating rink." I answered my mother's question, my mom seemed to like the idea, "That's sounds fun!" .  Zack , my brother, seemed to agree, saying with his mouth full of food, " ooo, I love ice skating, Can I go with you?" I scoffed at Zack and said, " First of all, No you don't, You never went ice skating before! Secondly, you know this is our girls night - out, you obviously can't come." Zack kept whining like a small baby through out the whole lunch and let's not start talking about my parents conversation, all they talked about was the exams and how I did in them.

" We'll see if you did as well as you said you did, after 2 days, when the marks come out. Then we will  decide if you are allowed to go to London!" My dad said and my mom simply nodded. Thankfully, this was the end of the conversation, and it was time for me to get ready, "I'm going to get ready now, Thanks again for the yummy lunch, Mom!" I said whilst standing up,  " Thank you honey. Hurry up though , you have 15 minutes." My mom replied. I wasn't worried though so I said, " Don't worry mom, you know I don't take long to get ready!" .

15 minutes later

  " Have fun dear and stay safe!" My mom said whilst waving, " I will, Bye mom! Bye dad! " I said, waving back. " No goodbye for me?" Zack said while pouting, I giggled and said goodbye to him too.  

I was on my way to the rink, I was wearing a long - sleeve beige blouse, since Lucy said it's pretty chilly there, my normal skinny black jeans, I really love these jeans, I'm also wearing my red flats , I'm sure there's no need for heels . My hair was in a normal comfortable  bun, this way my hair won't annoy me while skating, I had my white earrings on and very little make - up, It's only a natural look, I hate it when girls wear so much make - up  that you think they're a painting . (Outfit on the side)

The rink wasn't far away from where I live, I could just take a Taxi and so I did just that, when I got in the cab the funniest thing happened, The taxi driver had his little daughter with him, apparently it was his turn to drive the little girl to her dance lessons, I didn't mind of course and so we took off to my destination. Anyways, the little girl, which she told me later her name is Emily, was very cute and she kept telling me funny stories of her friends, I  kept giggling the whole ride until the taxi driver turned on the radio, Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus came on. Emily and I were singing along until my phone rang, here comes the funny part, Nabaa was on the phone, she has already arrived and is waiting for the rest of us. 

I was feeling thirsty, it's a good thing I had an extra bottle of water in my bag. If you were wondering , we took the long way to the rink and there was traffic ... UGH I  HATE TRAFFIC ... Anyways, Nabaa was on speaker since I was drinking my water, then suddenly , in the middle of asking a question Nabaa stopped and screamed, " Wait, Is that Party in the USA?" I didn't have time to reply because she started screaming through the phone again," Yes it is! I love that song!" I was about to finish chugging down my water when the chorus of the song  began and so did Nabaa's screaming ...

" SO I PUT MY HANDS UP, THEY'RE PLAYING MY SONG AND I KNOW I'M GONNA BE OK!"

Nabaa's screaming was so loud I couldn't hear the radio anymore, her screaming took us all by surprise , especially me, I accidentally spit my water on the driver's neck, he jolted up and the car swayed to the right, for a minute there I was actually scared but when Emily started laughing, we were all laughing along. When we stopped laughing , I noticed Nabaa was still singing but my phone wasn't on speaker anymore, that's when  Emily screamed, " Oh Shut up!" and shut off  the phone, we kept laughing all the way to the rink.

Once I finally arrived, I paid the driver extra because of the water, luckily, he wasn't mad, instead he was joking about it. I said goodbye to Emily and went into the indoor rink, it was the complete opposite of what I imagined.  Why haven't I come here before? It looks like an ice cave with fake rocks everywhere, the rink was beautifully decorated with lights of different colors and there was music to top it off. The aura that it gave away was truly amazing.

 When I arrived, most of the girls were already there, we were just waiting for Harmony and Sarah, I told the girls about Emily and her dad to pass the time while we wait. After 10 more minutes, we were all present and we started skating in lovely white shoes, I'm actually better than I thought.

Two hours have passed but they felt like 5 minutes, we were having lots of fun playing all kinds of games while we skate, Lucy and Harmony were right, there aren't many people here, I mean who would go ice skating in the middle of summer? but it's more fun not making a fool out of our selves in front  of a big crowd. Anyways, everything was going perfectly, if you cut out a few falls here and there, but what I didn't know is that I was going to have the worst fall of all!

Everything was in slow motion, my foot slipped but instead of hitting the ground, I fell over a boy .. well more like pushed him! He looked like he was struggling to maintain his balance , he was literally sliding on the floor, he was with four more friends but none of them seemed to come to his rescue because he face - palmed straight into a birthday cake! 

Wait .. What is a birthday cake doing here? My question was answered when a group of ten-year old girls came out of a party room, I didn't even know they had one of those things! They all gasped at the damage done, that's when the boy lifted his head, his face was covered  in chocolate , we all gasped and his friends started laughing at him,after a while everybody joined them, I feel bad because that was pretty much my fault but this is too funny! 

" I'm (laugh) rea-really (laugh) So-sorry! (laugh)" I was trying to apologize to the boy but I couldn't stop laughing, he started wiping the chocolate of his face and said," It's o-" but he was soon interrupted by one of the ten year old girls screaming, " YOU RUINED MY BIRTHDAY!" we all turned around to face her and immediately stopped laughing. Well somebody doesn't look too pleased.  

The little girl's face showed just how much anger she felt inside, her eyes were on fire! " You're going to have to pay for that!" she said while pointing towards the boy. Okay, now i seriously feel bad, this is my fault but hey don't judge me ... I did say ice skating isn't really my thing! 

Anyways, i was now standing next to the boy deciding it was only right to defend him, "It's not his fault, it's actually mine! I'm so sorry, I really didn't mean to ruin your birthday, I slipped. I can pay for the cake though. Do you know where your mommy is sweety? I need to talk to her." I thought that the little girl was going to cry but instead she blowed up in my face with too much attitude for her age," DON'T SWEETY ME! Look at what you've done, Take that. How do you feel now? Hah" .

Wait she didn't just ... oh yes she did ... She literally threw cake on my blouse, gasps  were the only thing heard in the whole rink. Wow, what a nice ten year old! "Well, that escalated quickly!" One of the boys said and snickered .

I would have been mad about my blouse but am I really going to get in a fight with a ten year old? I  just took some of the cake that's stuck on my blouse with my hands and ate it, "Mmmmmm, My favourite, Chocolate Mousse cake! Thanks!" Everybody giggled. I thought that was it and I was about to ask to talk to her mother again when somebody from afar screamed , "FOOD FIGHT!"  

Food ... Flying Food was the only thing you  could see ... A Food fight in an ice skating rink in the middle of summer. We're definitely one of our kind. You'd think somebody would have stopped this but no it didn't happen, we were all engaged in the food fight , everybody was running to the party room where a buffet table was located then run out holding plates with food, using the artificial rocks as defense , the food fight was actually alot of fun.

By now, everyone in the rink was covered in all kinds of food and for once, the expected happened , we were all kicked out of the ice rink even the little girls! I was laughing  with Harmony outside the rink waiting for the rest of our group to join us and when they did, Nabaa pointed towards someone in the distance and said getting our full attention, " Look! "

Hey guys! So i want to apologize for the extremely late update. I'm so so so sorry! I wrote the whole chapter a  long time ago but my little sister deleted it ... I swear I can't go to drink water in peace ... and then I went on holiday so I made this chapter extra extra extra extra extra extra extra extremely extra long and I hope I didn't lose fans because of it!
