AISHA'S POV

I finally chose to tell Benny the news, I couldn't keep it from her.
When she heard it, she didn't take it hard like I expected, she only asked me "he's still alive right?"

It sounded creepy but I assured her he was fine because her big brother told me he's alive but was just in a coma.
She didn't say much but just remained quiet.

We got back to hostel and she asked us to help her pack her things because she had to go home to meet her brother.
We left in my car, Anu and Rona wanted to come along but I asked them to stay behind and I left Benny 's car in their care.

Debra was still being hyper saying Benny was dead even when she was clearly alive, seated at the back seat, occasionally sighing but then, staring into space.
I had to call Timi soon, he might be the only one to help her out of this creepiness.

We got to her house and the air was sad. The sadness was thick.
Her baby brother Tife had swollen face, he had been crying.
"smallie, how are you? " I asked him half expecting him to tell me he's a man and not a small boy.
He only smiled weakly at me in response. I squeezed his hand lightly.

Benny didn't say much, she went straight to her brother's room. Apparently, Mrs Modupe chose to have her son treated in the house.

Debra and Dotun both had the Samsung stubborn head.
Dotun yelled to anyone that cared to listen that if he finds the person who caused the accident, he or she would be good as dead and Debra kept on agreeing with him.

Mrs Modupe had and was still crying, Williams the ever busy man was around and was with his mom all through, calming her when she sobbed.
"mom, it'll be fine " he kept on saying.

" first Tife had an accident, now Benson " she sobbed.

Benny sat on her brother's bed, there were drips and lots of things all over him.
He looked like he was asleep but he actually wasn't.
He had bandage all over his head, it was pathetic.

" Benny " I placed my hand on her shoulder. She didn't move nor make any sound. She just placed her brother's hand in hers, eyes closed.
She said no word to anybody, only occasional nodding of head to answer some questions thrown at her.

I informed my mother that I was back home and would like to spend some time at Benny's place. She had no objections. Debra's mom also agreed too.

"what about Olivia? " Tife had asked me.

" she um is pretty occupied, she would have been here but something came up " I said as soft as I could.

Mrs Modupe wouldn't let Debra and I spend the night at her place, she asked us to go home to see our parents and then come back the next day.

" I don't want to bother you children and it wouldn't be nice to let you stay here when your parents haven't seen you both " she smiled at us.

The next day, I came with my mother and my elder brother Haruna.
My mother spent almost the whole day with Mrs Modupe and Haruna was with Williams.

I walked over to Ben's room, Benny was still on the bed with him.

" I tried to make her bathe this morning, she didn't want to, she kept screaming" Mrs Modupe explained with a weak voice.

" Aisha, did something bad earlier happen to her because she seems too down and I'm beginning to suspect it's way more than the accident." she asked.

Woah!

" yes ma....um....a course mate of hers passed away and um, he, I mean, she was a good friend of Benny's " I lied.

" Oh my God, that explains it, she lost a friend and now look what happened to her brother. This is so sad Zahra " Mrs Modupe cried in my mother's arms.

" she'll be fine " my mother pat her back.

" she has been like this since she arrived" Mrs Modupe cried again

"it hit her hard but she'll be fine, I assure you " my mother smiled

" the doctor said it's likely he gets memory loss because he hit his head bad but believe me Zahra, I only care about him opening his eyes " she added still crying.

" memory loss? " Benny's surprisingly asked.

" Benny, my baby " Mrs Modupe squealed as she left my mother to hold Benita.
" I was so worried, you haven't said a word since "

Benny nodded and turned back her attention to her brother.

" I'm here "

I looked back, it was Debra and her mother.
" Good morning mas" she greeted.

Really Debra, 'mas'?

She came over to meet me while the three mothers walked away.

" how's she now, has she said a word? " she asked me.

" nope, her mother said it's likely Ben gets amnesia" I explained.

" Her mom said so? " she frowned

" yeah, her mother said so "

DEBRA'S POV

Aisha has had this prim and properness right from time, her mom had brought her up in the 'royal queen Elizabeth type'.
It wasn't necessary and important at the moment, but I hate it when Aisha keeps on saying 'mother' ,please say 'mom' instead.

"Her mom you mean? " I corrected

" seriously Debra, are we doing this now? " she rolled her eyes. Deciding to ignore her,I walked over to Benny.
" Ben Ben "

She didn't look at me.

" Aisha, I think we need to call Timi "

" that's the best thing to do" she agreed.

Williams walked in with Haruna.

"hi guys " I called out. They were like my elder brothers, I have practically known them all my lives. I preferred Dotun though because we both shared the same cool mentality.

Haruna placed an hand on my shoulder
" rugged , how have you been? " He was fond of calling me rugged.

" been fine " I smiled back at him.

" girls, I need you to please do your best in making my sister regain herself. Ben would surely be fine but Benny's taking it too hard " Williams sighed.

" what exactly happened to her? " Haruna asked.

" school work stressed her out " I quickly answer.

" but mom said Aisha told her a course mate of Benny died " Williams argued.

I turned to face Aisha "ohh, yeah..Her course mate died"

Which course mate died?

"I'll leave you girls to do your thing " Williams answered as he pulled Haruna away.

" let's call Timi now" Aisha pouts

Just then, Tife walked in with a tray in hand, the help Mercy followed behind holding another tray too.
He placed the tray on the table, there was a filled jug and some glasses.
Mercy placed her tray down: chocolate dipped doughnuts.
" you girls should help yourselves with this. And madam asked me to beg you girls to help Benny eat "

" Thank you " Aisha smiled at her as she left.

" would Benny become normal again? " Tife asked me.

" aww, yes she'll be normal again " Aisha smiled.

" you're practically saying your sister is abnormal " I tried to lighten the mood.

He smiled weakly and shake his head.
" Where's Fisayo? " he asked.

" who? "

" Her boyfriend, Fisayo, he should be here, shouldn't he? "

" that useless thing isn't her boyfriend anymore " I clicked my tongue.

" Debra sssh, he'll be here soon " Aisha frowned.

" he's still her boyfriend right? " he asked again.

" yes and no " I say truthfully.

" Debra shut up na " Aisha scowled.

" it's the truth! "

I shrugged and picked a doughnut, pushed it to Benny's face. She had been quiet all through and it was scary. "eat this" I forced.

She pushed my hand away "no"

"she said no, she said no " Tife cried as he came to hold his sister.
Aisha cleaned her eyes. Why was she crying? What's so emotional?

" don't tell me no, eat this "

" no "

" nooooo "

" nooooooooooooo" she screamed and started crying.
She was been hysterical.

"mom, mom! " Tife yelled as she kept on screaming.

Dotun walked in "Tife shut up"

"she's crying " he sobbed.
Tife was also crying, boys shouldn't be crying.

" come here" Dotun frowned at Tife. He placed his arm around him "she'll be fine, just don't shout"
Tife nodded and became quiet.

Aisha and I helped to calm Benny, we didn't want to get the attention of the moms.

"did she suffer from an heart break or something? " Dotun asked.

Yes man, you're so smart!

" If it's from Fisayo, I'll skin him alive " he growled.

" Benita, I don't get what's wrong with you but if you want me to kill anybody for you , I'll just make a phone call, just name the person " he sighed.

" no no no, she doesn't want anyone dead " Aisha frowned taking Dotun's hand away from Benita.

" Olivia, Jenny and Fisayo should be dead before tomorrow " I announced.

" Olivia? " he was confused

" Debbb! " Aisha scowled.

" Fisayo got Olivia pregnant" I revealed.
"look Aisha, Dotun is also like a brother, we can't hide this from him "

Aisha was so ready to murder me.

" what about him? "she pointed at Tife.

" you see, you don't have sense " she hit her forehead.

" Fisayo got Olivia pregnant?" Dotun wanted to be sure.

"he sure did " I was proud I was the one who told him, we need to plan the murder scheme as soon as possible.

He ignored probably trying to absorb the whole information.

" Boluwatife! " he growled.

Tife frowned and walked over to him. " we all know you're mom's favourite baby and you might tell her this, so here's the deal, I'll help you with all your school assignments for a week if you promise not to tell this to mom "

" mom doesn't need to know Kehinde has a boyfriend, she'll get mad... So I won't say a word " he answered.
" but you'll help me with my assignments anyways ".

Dotun smiled and lightly pinched his cheek before pushing him out of the room.

" so would you girls my mind if Fisayo dies or something? " he smirked.

" no, that doesn't even make sense " Aisha argued.

" if you need help, I'm always here " I assured him.
I could see Aisha literally shooting daggers at me
... I'll dodge em' fam.

" Look at both of them, Taiwo and Kehinde, Benson and Benita Modupe looking as miserable as ever.... Na wa ohh, not when I'm alive" he growled

" first thing, I need Benita to regain herself before I take any step, Taiwo would surely wake up soon, I hope he doesn't come out with this amnesia thing because the doctor said something about brain damage........ " he sounded gone.

But quickly picked up :" so what exactly should we do to snap her out of this madness? "

" let's call Timi " I say again.

" Who's Timi? "

" Her new boyfriend " I hurriedly answered.

" Debra when Benny gets okay, she'd so kill you " Aisha sighed as she sat down.

" Aisha you know you can tell me things... You just shouldn't try to let bro hear all these " he says to Aisha.
By bro, he meant Williams.

" so let me call this Timi guy " he announced.

" I'll talk to him " I smiled.

" no no no, you both are natural disasters so let me talk to him " Aisha frowned.

TIMI'S POV

Life's was quite boring without Benny.
Love's sick, I hated and loved the feeling at the same time.

I hate love.
I love love.

When you fall in love, you turn to a fool. You become so stupid, fantasizing on things you would love to do with your partner.
Places you'd want to go together.
Silly wearing of matching outfits...
Eating dinner together....
Talking together....

But no, there didn't seem to be a partner.

I had grown to love Benny but she clearly wasn't ready to drop her Festus boyfriend.
Like I always say, love's sick... Love's mad.

She had not called me, I haven't either. I told her I would give her space but I was getting confused myself, for how long would I give her this so called space?
I am the mature one here, the older one... I should be more experienced on all these.

I had to give her credits, she was awfully older than her age, sometimes, I forget she's just 18.
I had once showed her pictures to my guys and asked them to take a guess on her age.

"24, 23, 25" was what I got.

I smiled and kept my secret to myself.

I would give her this space anyways.

The previous day, Aisha surprisingly called me and said she'd want to discuss something important with me. Knowing how dramatic Benny's friends were, I politely turned her down, I needed a break from childish dramas.

I politely turned her down but she called me rude and annoying and swore to get back at me for being 'rude' to her. Drama!

I really needed a break, just yesterday, Yetunde also called me and complained that I had not been giving her the attention she needed. What attention?
What part of we can't work did she not understand?
The headache was just too much and now that I'm trying to type in some information to my computer someone out there had the audacity to make a lot of noise just outside my office.

What happened to manners?

What is even wrong with my secretary? Doesn't she know how much I hate to be disturbed?

The noise was just too much.

I picked up the land phone and dialled her. "yes Ella, what exactly is going on there?"
"whoever it is, send the person away.... I have no appointment with anyone, do I?.... Good, tell the person to find a life or something! "

I dropped it but I could still hear frustrating shouts, before I could decide to do anything, the door opened and there came in Kylie Jenner Aisha, queen of drama and one huge looking man whom I assumed to be her bouncer, bodyguard or whatsoever.

" do you know who I am? If you do, you wouldn't touch me the way you did " she yelled, walking straight to me.

How did she find out I work here?

" please, you need to leave this office " Ella my petite secretary pleaded.

" I can get you fired! I can get this company sued for physical assault! Do you know who my father is? He was the former minister of finance : Alhaji Umar' Nuru, so if you know what's best for you, leave me alone! "

" you know what, I called the security on you already and they'll be here in a minute " Ella growled.
Just as she said it, three men from the security agents came into my office.

God! Headache!

Her bouncer looked ready to attack anybody.

" Ella, it's fine, you can go " I say to her

" but sir, it isn't in your schedule to have a meeting with her and besides, she caused a scene already and....

"Leave " Aisha ordered.

Seriously? In my own office, commanding my own secretary! Where on Earth do girls come from?

" Ella, I'll handle it myself, and you three can go, thank you " I smiled at my secretary and the agents.

Aisha smiled triumphantly at Ella as she placed her bag on my table before sitting down, legs crossed.
Her bouncer walked back to the door and stood there, better.

" Good day ms Aisha, I honestly didn't expect this meeting and I don't appreciate the scene you caused as this is a company as you can see " I sounded as formal as possible.

She arched her brows, a bit taken aback with what I said. She clicked her tongue then licked her purple lips. "well, I don't like you, you don't like me, that's understood"

She eyed me with her long lashes "I came here because of Benny"

"what happened to her? "

" don't rush me... " she twisted her face in disgust.

" I don't expect you to know this but Fisayo got Olivia pregnant and Benny seems to be suffering from an heart break or so " she frowned.

This news isn't encouraging! Benny is still attached to this F guy, no progress made.
And I said it, I knew all along that he was responsible but Benny was blind to accept.

" so what exactly do I have to do? "

" I asked you not to rush me, didn't I? "

" fine, go on " I was losing my patience already.

" just when she found out about Olivia, she found out her twin brother was involved in accident which is likely to cause amnesia.....

"wow, did Benny take this hard? "

" no she didn't, I just decided to come here and pay you a friendly visit! Excuse me, what part of don't rush me do you not understand? Of course, she took it hard and that's the reason I'm here to make you understand that you need to come and see her.!She had been chanting your name since , so I guess it's left to you "

I had it in mind to send this rude lady out of my office but I just got informed that Benny took her brother's news hard, that's heart breaking.

Just then, Ella walked in, a paper in hand. She threw a nasty look at Aisha "excuse me Boss, this is the detailed copy of the last transaction you asked for , it also contains the proposal of the sales project...

"Timi, where do you get these people from? And you hell fire or whatever your name is , I believe your boss is currently occupied as he is in a meeting already... Can't you see? " Aisha growled.

I wouldn't tolerate her talking rudely to my employee.
" Aisha it's enough, Ella thank you, leave it here, I'll see to in some minutes " I smiled at Ella, she is one of the oldest employees here.
She threw the same nasty look at Aisha before leaving the office.

The headache was still killing.

" so, what exactly do you want me to do? " I asked calmly.

" you have to come see her "

" where is she? "

" at her parents place.. Durhh! "

If the thought of Benny wasn't bothering me and if this headache wasn't there... If!
I had a good mind of doing something hurtful to this brat!
How did she happen to be a friend of Benny? They really had contrasting personalities.....

I handed everything to Ella, I trust her to take care of all.
Aisha demanded I ride in her car because apparently she had the mind that I'll change my mind and run off.
Her bouncer did the driving and of course, it was a quiet drive, what was there to talk about with the devil?

When we arrived the place, I remembered her mom might recognise me considering when I first came there when Benny's baby brother had an accident but it's alright, I'm an adult not some random street boy looking for girls to devour.

I met a man who looked the same age with me.

"Good day " I say to the guy that seemed the oldest.

" Good day " he answers as he stretched out his hand for a shake. He looked down at Aisha for an explanation.

" ohh, yeah, this is Timi, a close friend of Benny, he heard what happened and came to see the twins " she explained.

" ohh, okay " he nodded with an unsure expression probably wondering how his sister has a suited business man as a close friend.

" I'm so sorry for what happened to your brother " I nod at him.

" thanks man " he answers as he led me to see whoever it was he wanted me to see. Hopefully Benita.
Aisha followed behind, her heels causing noise pollution.

Benny was seated on the same bed with her brother. They looked awfully alike. It was my first time seeing them together.
Her eyes were closed, she was holding her brother's hand.
Her hair or wig or whatever it was, didn't look brushed. She looked...Mad but still beautiful.

"she has been like this since she came, she hardly talks to anybody, the doctor said she is in some sort of shock. I guess the bond between twins is really strong " the guy said.
He turned to me. "I'm Williams"

I nodded "Timi"

"Timi! "

Her eyes opened " Timi " she repeated.

" I'm here baby " I couldn't hold it back, I missed her badly, I wanted to hold her in my arms all day, assuring her that her brother would come back to her.
Beads of tears dropped from her eyes, I wanted to kiss them away.

" baby? " Williams asked looking at Aisha. I could hear her grumbling.

" is he the Timi she has been mentioning? " he asked loudly.

I kept on staring at mine.

She wasn't the girl I used to know, she looked different.

Her eyes were locked to mine.

Someone walked in, a guy on dreads, he came with a younger boy.
" Hey, it's you, mr Timi " the boy smiled with his fat cheeks.

" Hey, how are you? " I managed to ask him.

" brother Williams, this was the man who helped me the time I had an accident " the young boy whose name I had forgotten said to Williams.

" yes, that's true... Timi? He's the Timi " the guy on dread asked.

I had also forgotten his name too.

" I'm confused " Williams announced.

" don't worry, bro.. I'll take care of it, trust me " dread guy assures Williams.

"are you sure? Because whenever you ask me to trust you, things end up getting messy" Williams frowned.

"no, I'm serious this time " dread guy reassures again.

Williams nodded at me then left the room.

" I should have known, after Tife's accident issue, you started having a thing for my sister..you be bad guy" dread guy smirked

" actually, they had known themselves long before Tife's accident! " Aisha explained.

" you are the one she's always taking pictures with? Your face just didn't click in all these while." he said
" Anyway, it's cool, if you're the one dating my sister, I'm fine with that, you look responsible enough "

I said nothing.

Benny's eyes were still on me but she said nothing.

" Tife come.... I'll leave you to do your thing, just put her brain back in its normal position " dread guy smiled at me before leaving the room with the smaller boy.

" What thing do you intend doing?" Kylie Jenner Aisha asked.

"Timi, w-w-where have you been? " Benny stuttered

" I'm here now babe "

She started crying and I felt my heart drop, I shouldn't have left her.

I walked over to her, helped her down from the bed, carried her and placed her on the chair.
Her face was oily.

" Olivia killed my brother.... " she started.

" no no pumpkin , Olivia didn't " I shushed her

" I thought she killed you too " she sounded off

" Debra caused this, when she was busy shouting Benny is dead, Benny is dead.... Why won't she talk about death now? " Aisha sighed.

" please, don't leave me again " she cried.

" I wouldn't, I swear I'll be with you from now! "

" don't leave my brother too "

" I won't leave him, I'll be with you both "

This was messed up.

" she needs to shower " I say to Aisha.

" yeah, she needs to but she wouldn't let anybody take her off the bed, how you did so was a miracle.... We even forced her to eat, she didn't want to " she explained.

" when it comes to twins, things are always complicated " I replied.

" well you said she needs to shower? "

" yeah, would you help her with that? " I asked.

" well, you'll have to help me... She wouldn't let anybody help her with anything " I was glad Aisha and I were having an almost actual conversation without her rude remarks.

Besides, why would I choose to help bathe Benny in her family house. It's crazy and doesn't sound right.

" I don't think that'll be a nice idea... It sounds crazy. Just take her to the bathroom, I would be around making sure she hears my voice to stay calm, you just help her clean up" I quickly suggest.
