Richie knows that Eddies close to the edge.

He sees the dull look in his eyes when Henry has him against the lockers. The fight left him a long time ago. He constantly see more angry lines on him.

Richie wants to do something, to stop Henry, to help Eddie. But he fears rejection, being put out like Eddie, he fears Henry.

Richie's eyes lock with Eddies. The dull ones come quick with emotion against Richie's emotionless ones. Guilt flooding through Richie, he quickly looks away.

He hates that he likes Eddie so much. He hates that he's go much of a coward to admit it. Eddie deserves so much more then he's getting, and Richie hates that he won't change that.

Richie doesn't know that Eddie went over the edge a long time ago, now he's just in free fall.
